Today I finally stopped in with enough time to browse this lovely boutique and lo and behold discovered if you make a Brighton $100 purchase you receive a free darling holiday "Love Dove" cross-body bag. It's very rare to find a small boutique that has similar offers as big box retailers. I was immediately impressed as I had in mind a gorgeous arm cuff (bracelet) I had seen during prior visits. What was even more impressive was that my cuff totaled $98 and while most retailers would make you buy something else to reach the full $100 before tax, they honored that amount and gifted me the free cross-body bag anyway!! So needless to say, I decided to get a second piece from them, after all. (Pic) I'm in love with my new Brighton jewelry pieces and with their great customer service. Also, today I met the owner who's name, I share - Millie. What a sweet lady who immediately drew me into conversation with her warm personality and her apology for having a stack of envelopes on the floor as she was shipping out orders. Turns out, Millie was elated that she sells an item that was featured by Oprah as one of her annual holiday favorite things - a combo key/phone finder keychain fob called "Orbit" (see pic) and was overjoyed with the amount of orders she received as a result of Oprah favs! One of the best thing to find out was that Millie's price for the "Orbit" is $32 while many other retailers is selling it as high as $40. Thus the pile of orders she was shipping out today. (See pic) This seals my love for boutique shopping and for bringing her my business. As I I told the owner this is my favorite boutique in Broward county. Such elegant and unique finds and warm, friendly and fair people.

I got to have a lovely chat with the owner Claudia. She sells all sorts of amazing vintage items and clothing. During my visit they were having a pop up jewelry event with pieces that would look right at home in your grandmother's jewelry box. If you wear clip on earrings, she had a wonderful selection along with beautiful brooches. Some of the pieces, like a box of rings were as inexpensive a one dollar. Don't forget to look up while you are shopping and check out Claudia's shoe art installation on the ceiling. Besides all of the unique things she sells, Claudia also does art classes. She showed me some of the projects which included journals, sea glass art, and wind chimes. Follow Comfort for Chaos on Facebook for upcoming events or even better, check them out in person. Claudia got the name for her store from a invention she created called Chaos for Comfort.
