The thrift store is located on the side of the property. Hours are Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday from 9 to 2. Thrifty Treasures has a small section of clothing. I was most interested in their bric-à-brac section which contained some vintage items. More expensive items were kept in a glass cabinet near the check out. They even had a few pieces of furniture. A side room contains children clothing, books, and toys. I ended up picking up some building magnets for the kids at school for only $4. Which leads me to why I love church thrift stores so much, they are always willing to bargain. Everything in the store was very reasonably priced and you can always make your own price suggestions. This isn't a huge thrift store but it was really fun to explore. They had some unique things and of course the inventory will always change depending on what people donate. You can support a worthy cause, find a treasure, and help the planet by keeping items out of the landfill all by thrifting. Come and check them out.

It is right around the corner from the up and coming F.A.T Village Arts District. It's a family owned business so if you see something you want to haggle about you can speak directly to the owners. Sometimes they aren't there so just call before you come down. The two rooms of the store are filled with an eclectic mix of stuff like jewelry, instruments, clothing, home items, and collectibles. I was interested in the art but it was jammed so tightly in the shelf I couldn't really see it. I think the most unusual item I saw was a ship's porthole. I heard the owners son tell a customer that they had even more things in the back and to come again when his father was back from his fishing trip. If you are looking for something specific it is probably just best to ask them about it. I didn't find anything but I had fun looking. The wife who was working was very sweet. Inventory changes based on what they purchase so you can check in to see new things.

They had a good selection of women's clothes that were attractively arranged and priced. They have a very nice dressing room area set up in the back of the store which is a welcome feature and not often provided by thrift stores. You can try on anything that catches your fancy, purchase clothing, and consign your gently worn items. Another Chance also sells accessories, housewares and knick knacks. I didn't see any furniture for sale but I think they have it from time to time. Help the planet and save money with thrift. Davie has so many great second hand stores and you can add Another Chance to the list.

At the beginning of the pandemic…read moreinitial lockdown, I rescued, adopted and care for two individuals who were formerly outgoing, amazing, internationally traveling professionals....my dementia-ravaged parents. My mother needed a new wardrobe, first place I thought of? This amazing little shop. How comforting it was to see ms. k was still there. She told me she also struggled with staying in business with being temporarily shut down. "I'm like a weed, you can't mow me down. I shoot right back up." As my mother toddled in with her aide and me, another customer gave up the "waiting for someone forever" chair. Everyone inside the store shopping or otherwise was just as friendly, wearing masks and social distancing. A little quieter than usual, but still welcoming; the atmosphere was the same. Great fashionable, well stocked, and discerning selection she is known for. Clothes are still fairly priced. The selection is still classy and eclectic, "grown" woman clothes I like to say.

I think this is a cute little thrift store HOWEVER.... There was an item that I was extremely interested in and I asked for a better price. The owner told me she could sale the item for $10 more, and since she could, why would she sale it to me for cheaper. Instead of trying to retain a good customer she doubled down on not being willing to negotiate. For this reason alone I'll never go back.

Most things were disorganized like the mountain of linens in the back of the store. I don't know why they don't fold some of it and try to make it look presentable. Aisles are very tight and several times I had to wait for people to move because there was no way around them. Nothing was marked with prices but I didn't see anything even worth asking about. Anything that looked remotely interesting had a chip or crack in it. After a few minutes of browsing I knew this wasn't the place for me.

Simple free parking directly in front of the store. Met with the owner, Angel, who displayed an enigmatic smirk, as we chatted about his nostalgic store and seemed very knowledgeable about his inventory. The merch was easily visible in multiple sections of genre. Im gonna bring in some of my vintage Marvel action figure collectibles for an appraisal and hopeful sale. The comics from the 1980s were competively priced for their condition and rarity. Center store there was a display case of retro pinback buttons provided a quick flashback of the past. This was the kind of store where you could easily lose track of time! Definitely recommend a peek for all collectors or unique gift ideas.
