He specializes in 3-D tattooing which is what I wanted. I am over 65 and he was kind, honest and explained the science behind what happens to ink in older skin. He told me exactly what I needed to hear to decide the best tattoo for me (and very professionally explained why the design I had picked out wasn't the best for me, nor the location, and why). We reached out to Fuzz and he was happy to work on the designs! He was very pleasant and easy to work with throughout the planning process. When it was tattoo day, we arrived at the shop. It's a super clean space and I love how each artist has their personal flairs added to their areas. Fuzz greeted us and showed us the designs which we loved. He was friendly and professional throughout the whole process and great about checking in to make sure we were feeling well and giving a break when needed. He set up his iPad to have movies on which was a nice distraction while under the tattoo gun. We chatted with a few other artists that came up to check out our works in progress. Everyone there was laid back and friendly. Our tattoos have healed well and look beautiful. I'll be sure to post pics! Me personally.... my go to guy has always been Shane since I have been going to him for a few years and the man is a mastermind. However, HOURS after her appointment she was experiencing, itching, oosing of puss, redness & could barely sit or stand due to the piecing not being LONG enough for the procedure. Even though she requested gold jewelry it was not. And on top of that, she did not get the PROPER Jewelry to ensure that she healed properly. Instead she received below average service and got charged $365 for improper service, standards AND met with non apologetic beings. She SHOULD have received what she asked for. But if they did not have proper gold surgical jewelry to provide her they should have vocalized that. Instead. They gave her non surgical jewelry. On top of the jewelry being non surgical, the Jewelry is also FAKE. After speaking to multiple sources... she then decides to rectify her experience in person at the shop, where the team there said it wasn't there problem. How is it not? When you provided a horrific experience and left her to the deal with the damages. Not disclosing your true inventory and luring her into paying a fee that was NOT worth it. She showed them pictures of her tummy after hours of procedure, even though they claim there is no proof... DO NOT go here. SCAM ALERT. I know the economy is bad but treating good paying customers like this will not be tolerated.

I went to Beyond Ink Tattoos originally looking for body jewelry. While I was there I went ahead and looked at the portfolio pieces from all the artists. Beyond Ink has a lot of talented artists, so naturally I went back to get my Harley Quinn Tattoo. When I burst into the store demanding my new tattoo, Tim took me on as a client.... poor Tim... He is great artist! Despite wanting to stick to only black and white tattoos, his water color tattoos were too hard to resist. And I'm really happy I decided to go with a water color styled Harley Quinn tattoo!! So of course after that, I decided that I wanted Tim to do my back piece. A tattoo that I wanted for three years but never found an artist that I trusted enough to do it. And I'm really glad I did. First off, my back tattoo of a grim reaper I originally drew it myself. Tim took it and adapted it and suited it for tattoos... obviously... The main elements stayed the same. I gave him a check list of everything that I wanted, and he hit every mark....thinking about it for three years will do that..On top of that, he pays attention to every single detail. Not just the details in the artwork, but the attention to details for your skin. I went in for my first session, and even though I was in pain by the end of it. If I wanted to push further, Tim would of called it off because the skin was swollen. In short, he's an artist who knows his medium. And for something that is going to be pretty permanent on your body, you want someone like that. On top of all this, Tim gets excited for your tattoo. I tortured myself going through art school for four years. I know fake enthusiasm when I see it. Tim expresses genuine excitement with a new tattoo. Tim wants to make sure you are happy with the tattoo you are receiving, wants the experience to be enjoyable. When you're excited with the design, he is too. Plus you can't beat the prices. Tim will go out of his way to make sure you enjoy getting a tattoo. I would recommend Beyond Ink to anyone. read more

Let's start with, I have a lot of tattoos. I've been to a lot of shops in NY and in Florida. I found Beyond Ink on a Halloween special day. Many tattoos later I will never go anywhere else! James King is my artist. He is an amazing artist who will work with you to design the tattoo you have in mind. He is flexible in scheduling, and his work is fantastic. I'm always getting stopped on the street or in stores by people wanting to compliment me on my tattoos. James is a nice guy who is fun to be with (for sometimes hours depending on the size of the tat). He puts you at ease if you're nervous and explains everything. His artwork is right up there with some of best in Florida with clean lines, perfect shading, and stunning colors. He follows industry standards for cleanliness, hygiene, and sterility. As a nurse practitioner, I am very aware of sterility and proper technique. His prices are very reasonable and much lower than some of the more "upscale" shops in the area. This shop is always clean, the others artists are always friendly and their art looks incredible as well. The owner, Rubin, has a unique style that I love and I do have 1 tattoo by him but James is my guy. This shop also participates in a variety of charitable events such as when they did tats after the Pulse tragedy, they donated all the proceeds to the cause. I wear my "Orlando Strong" tattoo proudly. Obviously, I highly recommended this tattoo shop!! read more

My friend and I had a really awesome experience at Beyond Ink when we went in to get piercings. The staff greeted us right away and were friendly in helping us figure out what we wanted. I've been to tattoos shops before where they are intimidating and the staff isn't friendly nor helpful. Beyond Ink is not like that. Our piercer, James, was really cool and chatted with us while we were getting piercings done. He is really professional and knowledgable and wanted to make sure we were comfortable and knew how to take care of our piercings. The shop is really clean and they take pride in it. We actually really enjoyed the whole experience and getting my conch pierced was relatively painless! I'm definitely planning on going back for more piercings and tattoos from James. read more

I sent James a lame, generic picture I found and asked him to set me up with a memorial for a loved one. To this day, there is only one person on this planet that I would let tattoo me, and thats James King. The shop is clean and the equipment is taken care of. James is so easy to strike up a conversation with. The best line work and shading I have ever had done. He has fixed a couple of my tattoos. I was told by a coworker to check this place out and I am SO glad I did! Not only is the environment incredibly clean, the artists at beyond ink are awesome human beings! I didn't have an appointment but Tim still told me to stop by and they will make room for me! I wasn't rushed or made to feel like I was an inconvenience! He was incredibly social, funny and a damn good artist! I felt very welcomed and I absolutely love my tattoo! It's easy to find a tattoo shop in Orlando but it's very hard to find one that hits it out of the park on all counts! I'm from Virginia and I went to Orlando to visit my twins. Both of them received a piercing a couple of weeks ago. I've always wanted my nose pierced and my daughter told me I HAD to go to Beyond Ink and have it done while I was visiting. First let me say, the place was immaculate! Absolutely spotless. This place was great! Sent an email to Tim with a picture of what I wanted and he had a great response time. Came in and everyone was really friendly. Tim started working on the tattoo and was very nice and he wasn't heavy handed which was also great since it was my first tattoo and I barely noticed the pain. The tattoo came out better than the picture and I am extremely happy with it. I came in unannounced yesterday with a piercing issue. I got pierced two weeks ago at another shop and had a concern. No piercers were at the shop when I stopped by in the evening, but due to my concern Tim made some phone calls. Reuben came to my rescue!! He left his house to come help me within minutes. Just got home from getting my butched looking palm tree (looked like a martini glass, or toothless the dragon from how to train your dragon) into a very awesome fluffy looking palm tree! Called to see if we could walk in and we were welcomed over the phone to come down. Came down and welcomed into the store. Asked what service we wanted and directed to fill out form. While filling out form were shown a belly ring for piercing. Completed form and welcomed back immediately. Professional service and pierced quickly. James was charismatic, took my mind off of the "sticking a needle through my face" process, and before I knew it it was over! Super quick! It hurt so much less than when I first got it. When I got there it looked super sketchy and gross from the outside... but then I came inside and talked to Rueben and he was SUPER knowledgeable and friendly!! He literally knew everything there is to know about piercing (and proved what I knew from Claire's to be wrong)!! I would highly recommend. I emailed the team here and they got back to me quickly. I sent them a mock up of the image I wanted to work with so they had an idea, as well as, the location I preferred. When I arrived, the artist was able to do a transfer for me and we opted to move the placement a little bit higher up my wrist as I have a dominate tendon that could have been more painful and made it look odd with the movements. I liked that she advised me on her logic and why she thought it was best to move it up about an inch. The tattoo took about 30 minutes and was wrapped up nicely. The place was very clean and everyone was very professional. It healed up nicely and still looks great. I get a lot of compliments on it. Overall: A Love my tattoo and planning another for my back shoulders. :)

She told us she could take my boyfriend and me about an hour later and asked us to wait around. After killing time, we came back only to be told that the piercer had made a mistake and never entered our appointment into the system. As a result, we were asked to wait even longer while someone who walked in after us without an appointment--was taken first. The owner repeatedly apologized but made no effort to accommodate us in any way. The staff was extremely rude and completely unempathetic. Prices are outrageous, and the customer service was awful. Zero out of ten. We will never return.
