We love this daycare! Our daughter started here at eight months old, and she is now almost two. The teachers are kind, caring, and treat every child like family. She has learned so much, made great friends, and always runs inside with a huge smile every single morning. Highlights: Teachers give warm updates and care deeply for the kids. Ms. Jasmine the director also establishes a clear line of communication and keeps parents updated with reminders of activities or days closed. I love how in the summer, the older toddlers have a water day! They also get to participate in music and sport enrichment activities. My daughter came home so proud of herself for learning how to jump and kick a ball! Safe Space: The rooms are clean, secure, and very well-organized. I love how all of the artwork is what the children produce, and not put together by the teachers. The teacher to student ratio is also a plus! Peace of Mind: She's always smiling and laughing when I come pick her up because she's had an amazing day! Lately, she has started naming the friends she looks forward to seeing. Watching Her Grow: This incredible daycare has seen our daughter through every major milestone. They watched her progress from crawling to standing, walking, and now running. Today, she is quite the talker with a large vocabulary for her age. At 22 months old, she can already recognize some letters in the alphabet, count to 10, solve puzzles, and follow directions. Final Thoughts: We are truly sad to leave this amazing place. We are moving away from the Pasadena area, and saying goodbye is so hard. And there was no question we would enroll our second daughter at BOD, who is now almost one, and we started her at 3 months! We have gotten to know all of the teachers throughout the years and each one of them truly cares about what they do to ensure every single child is properly cared for. My younger daughter had feeding/OT issues around the time she started at BOD, and the staff helped accommodate OT exercises and feeding practices to help her overcome her issues while away from home. TLDR: Beyond is the best daycare we could have hoped for and our daughter loves going to school every day (we can't get her to leave). They genuinely love the children and treat them like their own nieces and nephews but with the knowledge and care of professionals. Long version: I never saw myself putting my kids in daycare as I was lucky to be cared for by my grandma. However, shortly after getting pregnant I lost my mom and my dad was having a hard time traveling from San Diego solo to help. If you have ever looked for daycare for an infant, you know a good place has over a year waitlist! That was the case when we first visited beyond too but I knew this was the ONLY daycare for my daughter. It was the only daycare I toured that I instantly felt comfortable and trusted the director and it was sooo clean and kids were so happy. I could never envision my daughter at any of the other places or picture myself trusting them with her happiness and safety. But when I met Jasmine and toured beyond I just knew. The next few months, Jasmine was a savior with getting us some part time coverage. She really cares about the families and I could tell my daughter was so happy with all her teachers. I've honestly only heard a kid cry at drop off like once in the last year and a half. My daughter had zero problems transitioning to daycare and as she moved up through the different classes we've been so happy with all her loving teachers. My daughter is so fulfilled by her time there every day and you can't replace such a great social aspect for the kids too. I've come to realize it would have been a disservice to keep my daughter isolated at home. She thrives here. She comes home everyday learning so many things it's crazy. So many words, songs, letters, numbers, lessons I never taught her she just absorbs from being at school. I'm also amazed what a great effort they've put into the activities for the older kids. I'm so appreciative bc as a full time working mom with a newborn I have no time or energy for that. I also feel their gentle and conscientious style for dealing with issues or behaviors with the kids aligned with my parenting choices. Even again with our newborn, my dad found himself unable to keep his full commitment and Jasmine immediately had us covered. They will take care of you and your baby. Truly love BOD and highly recommend! Our daughter started at BOD at 6 months old and is almost 1 year now. All the staff are incredibly caring, attentive, and personal. I can tell they deeply care for her which makes drop off so easy, and allows us parents to feel safe knowing our baby is in loving hands. All communication is fast and easy. The facilities are clean and comfortable. We love the size - not too big, not too small. We are starting a weekly music class there as well, which is a really cute new addition. My daughter has been attending BOD for over a year now, and we couldn't be happier with the experience she's had here. Even though she only attends three days a week, it's clear that she feels right at home. One of the things that really stood out to me from the beginning was how quickly drop offs became smooth (with minimal crying and clinginess). The staff at this daycare are incredible. BOD was our first and only tour that we had when we're shopping for daycares. When we had our first tour at BOD, we knew this is the place for our baby. We placed our deposit right away to secure a spot. It has been 2 months since we sent our baby boy to BOD. He is 7 months now and we can tell that he loves the daycare and the teachers especially Ms Kesha who takes care of the "Monkey Class"! Every morning when we pass him to the teachers, he will smile and let them carry him without crying. One of the highlights that we noticed was that our baby boy started to sleep thru the nights ever since we sent him to the daycare (guess the school activities make him really tired). The teachers also train him to sleep on his own. We used to rock him to sleep but now, he is able to sleep on his own without rocking/walking around. The facility is clean, all the teachers are attentive and friendly. We can tell that our baby is safe and loved by the teachers at BOD which allow us to work peacefully. This place is a gem! My now toddler started at Beyond Our Dreams at 6 months-old when I had to go back to work from maternity leave. I was a nervous wreck leaving my new baby at a daycare but my mind was eased once I met the owner Jasmine, her sister, her mom and the other wonderful caretakers here. It truly takes a village and theirs felt like family. They doted on my baby and he was well taken care of from the infant room to the tree room to the monkey room. We transferred my 22 month old to another facility to get him into a preschool and the teachers at the new school are impressed by how much he knows from his abc's, numbers to colors. Beyond Our Dreams is extraordinary!! Jasmine does an amazing job making sure everyone is happy and safe. The staff are all superior and so nice. They really make it feel like a second home for my babies here. Everyone treats my babies as if they are their own. My second baby is currently attending BOD and I wish she could be there until she graduates college. But sadly at age 3, we have to find a new school. I can not say enough about BOD! Our son has been here since he was three months old and he'll be turning two next month. Jasmine, Shirley and the entire BOD team has been incredible. I have shown up early to pick him up many days and the teachers are always interacting and playing with the kiddos. Just to be clear, our kid doesn't go here. But this story will say why: We toured the facility and fell in love with the place. We immediately decided that we wanted to enroll our son here and paid the $300+ deposit fee and the owner said that an opening will likely be open in March. At this time, it was June. We waited until March and didn't hear anything. So we called back and the owner said she's been so busy that she forgot about us! However, she said thinks there will be an opening soon. She calls later and offers a spot, but midway through, she realizes our son is now over 18 months, so that program is no longer available. Disappointed, we said to let us know when there will be a spot open for our son. In May, she calls us when we're on vacation in Indonesia. She tells us that we have to respond to her in one day or she'll give our spot to the next family. Being in a foreign country, I wasn't able to check my voice mail until 48 hours later. I figured that we had patiently waited this long, so the least she can do is to give us more than 24 hours. However, the power of the $ seems go to a long way. Long story short, we decided this is NOT where we want to enroll our son and just decided to let our deposit go. But we recommended to all of our friends that they should look elsewhere for a daycare besides this place. read more

My son recently "graduated" from the Older Toddler (18-30 month) class and I could not be happier with our experience at Beyond Our Dreams. Throughout the year my son attended BOD he learned a lot and had so much fun. He was barely speaking when he started at 18 months and is now communicating in mini-sentences. He knows all the basic shapes, colors, ABCs, days of the week, months of the year, and can count to 20. He's definitely ready to start preschool. He was always excited and happy to go to "school" and see his friends and teachers. The facility was always clean and the teachers were all so nice. You can tell they genuinely care about all of the children. They offer a hot lunch option which was wonderful. The menu items were well balanced, made daily and changed monthly. My son (who is super picky at home) almost always ate all of his lunch. I also enjoyed not having to pack food for him. They also help with potty-training and were accommodating to the method we chose to use. My son actually did better staying dry during naps at daycare than at home. The only advice I have is to eliminate use of videos. The children sometimes watched learning videos in the early morning during drop-off or evening while waiting to be picked up. We allow limited screen time at home and I am OK with the content being shown so this really isn't a big deal to me. I just wish another form of entertainment was used or let the kids have free-play time. read more

We love all of the teachers, and we are continually impressed by their warmth, kindness, and expertise. Before choosing a daycare, we looked at quite a few others in the surrounding area. BOD stood out for its new, clean, and well-organized facility. The daycare is actually in a beautifully converted craftsman home and the babies are separated into 3 different rooms based on their age group and/or development level. I appreciate that there is a separate nap room, so babies can sleep away from all the noise. The diaper changing area is clean, neat, and organized and there are even bathrooms outfitted with toddler-sized toilets and sinks - perfect for when they potty train! The outdoor areas are set up nicely with play equipment and the daycare is secured by a tall surrounding fence. When touring the place, we noticed the babies and toddlers were happy and engaged and the classrooms did not feel cluttered or crowded. We started our daughter at 6 months and she is now almost 11 months old. From day one she was comfortable being left at BOD, which made it easier for me to go back to work. The teachers are very attentive and interested in understanding each baby's individual needs. I love that they work closely with us to support our daughter's development - whether it's transitioning to solids, drinking from a bottle or sippy cup, establishing good nap time habits, or encouraging her to practice clapping, crawling, and standing. They are always willing to take the time to chat with me about her week to week challenges and progress and are open to parents dropping by mid-day to say hello. Our daughter feels happy and safe at BOD. She enjoys the rotating variety of toys and the different activities & art projects. She's all smiles when we pick her up at the end of the day. I absolutely love Beyond Our Dreams and the teachers. When I first toured the daycare with Ms. Jasmine in May, in my heart I knew this was the place for my son. This is our first real daycare experience for my 7-month-old son. The transition couldn't have been more perfect. One of things that drew me to the school in the first place was the fact that it was so clean and well organized. The infant room is stocked with many sensory activity toys and has a separate room for naptime. There is a separate larger room for toddlers, an arts and craft room and a great outdoor play area. Ms. Jasmine and Ms. Shirley have been so professional, kind, loving, nurturing and attentive to my son's needs. I can tell they truly love my little guy. It is also nice and reassuring to see that the other children are so happy and receiving the same loving care. I would definitely recommend Beyond Our Dreams to other parents. Our daughter has been at BOD since she was 4.5 months. As a working parents trying to juggle it all, it was extremely important to us to find a place where we knew our daughter would be well cared for and loved. She's now over 15 months and we don't know what we would do without the wonderful ladies at BOD. The facilities are SUPER, SUPER clean. We toured a few places that made us cringe after touring BOD. Also BOD is open until 6 pm which is such a huge help to both me and my husband. Both of us have long, hairy commutes and it's a relief not to have to leave work even earlier than we already do. My son came here for about 6-8 months. He started in the toddler room (living room area) then moved on to the older toddler little house in the back. Ms. Jasmine was always really nice & professional but she did not have control over her the teacher in the back house. What I did like is that it looked clean. Here's what I didn't like about the back house toddler room: 1. they had kids sit & watch iPad for about 30min-1hr in the morning and in the ending of school (so twice a day). I was trying to take that habit away from my son. I did tell them several times that I did not allow this for my son, yet I will still find him watching it when I picked him up. Funny thing is (I forgot teacher's name) but she would say "they only watch for 10min" but no matter what time I got there within the hour (4:30-5:30) kids would be watching it. The funniest part was one day after I told them to stop having them watch iPad, I got there to pick up my son and, yes, they were watching iPad (saw them watching it as I approached door), then teacher saw me coming and literally flew towards iPad and hid it so I don't see that they were watching it. It was such an awkward moment I didn't know what to say. Even the kids were like "where did it go?". Who does this?? I did bring this up to Ms. jasmine, but nothing changed. This made me lose trust in them, because if they tried to hide this from me I wonder what else they hid. Trust lost. 2. There was a cute lil new boy with long curly hair whom I would find crying standing by himself everyday when I would drop off my son. They said he was new so it was normal however I don't think it's right to just leave a child crying alone for over N hour without consoling him or at least trying to cheer him up. I also told them that they should not ignore him... teacher would be sitting there watching kids play while he cried in the corner of the lil fence. I wanted to hug him. 3. Final straw was when I picked my son up school and he had 102.3 fever. Teachers had no clue! He must hv had fever for a while for it to reach that high, and no one knew. When I told them they said he looked normal so we didn't check. Then I called Jasmine furiously to tell her. She talked to the staff & they told her they checked his temperature earlier that day and he didn't have fever. In other words they lied to cover their ass, why would they check his temperature if he looked "fine all day". I was so upset and knew that teacher could not be trusted. My kid never returned after this day, I didn't even pick up his stuff that he left there. If I went I know I would have chocked that angry looking teacher. I feel bad posting this since they have amazing reviews...but if a teacher lies once, I could never trust them, let alone twice. read more

I was so, so sad to take my son out of this daycare. I had a change in my job and I was no longer going to be in the area. Otherwise, I never would have left! My son started there at 3 months of age and stayed until he was 7 months. As a first-time mom, I was very nervous about being away from my little one. The ladies here made us feel right at home. They really bond with the babies and take good care of them. They're always doing little art projects and keeping parents up-to-date on how their child is doing. One of my favorite parts of the day was going to pick up my son and chatting with Ms. Susie. They seem to really keep an eye on the babies' development, making sure to cater their care to each one. They are conscious of who needs more tummy time, who needs help sleeping, who is learning new things. It is nice to see that they pay so much attention to make sure they are caring for each baby and meeting their particular needs. My son loved all of their toys and being able to make baby friends while he was there. They also seem to keep up with hiring great care-takers as they need them. When we first started going, there were only a few babies (they had just opened). Now that they are full, they still don't seem too overwhelmed because they have hired the staff to keep up. All of the caretakers I had personal experience with were great, namely Ms. Jasmine, Ms. Susie, Ms. Shirley, Ms. Azniv and Ms. Krystal. I'm sure the others are great, too, I just did not have personal experience with them. My son misses the staff very much. Love you guys! read more

My twins went there for a year from (18m to 24m). I wish they could stay there for much longer Ms Shriley is AMAZING!!! she is very organized and incredible with toddlers. My girls had learn so much with her. They have playtime outside, lots of arts and crafts, singing and music, storytime. And they help potty train. So far, this is the best daycare I have ever seen and I been looking around. Ms Jazmin is so understanding and accommodating as well and I'm very glad that my girls got such a quality care there. I can't say enough about the team at Beyond Our Dreams. I know that selecting an infant care for your child can be an overwhelming or daunting task; I felt that too. I am so grateful that we found BOD and can confidently say placing our daughter here has been one of the best decisions we have made. She has been attending since June, and has been exceptionally cared for. Transitioning back to work during COVID was no easy feat - Ms Jasmine + Ms Shirley were an incredible support through that time, making sure my daughter and I were as comfortable as possible in that process, even making space for extra visits in the beginning to get her familiar with the space. Our daughter has learned so much being here not only from the teachers but from her new friends too! That's definitely been one of the coolest, and most unexpected gifts. They care for her like family and are passionate about what they do, genuine, and kind. She is so amped when we drop her off in the morning and when we pick her up at the end of the day - immensely grateful for the peace of mind I have knowing she is in such great hands while we're at work. Where do I start!! BOD IS THE BEST!!!! Had to go back to work and had to find a trustworthy day care and BOD CAME THROUGH!!! Ms. Jasmine is amazing and her staff are the most sweetest staff ever!! I Called for a tour and when My husband and I walked in I already knew this was it and we signed up on the spot!!! It is SO CLEAN!!! And each room is divided into age group with age appropriate education toys!! When I went downstairs to see the toddler class Ms. Shirley was soooooo sweet!!! Can't wait for my baby to get to her class!!!! It's been few months now and my baby IS IN THE BEST HANDS!!! My husband and I go to work knowing our baby is in best hands!!! What else can I say about Beyond Our Dreams Daycare besides - its AMAZING! My daughter has been going here since she was about 4 months old and will be moving up to preschool in about 4 months. I wish they offered a 30+ month option because I'd certainly opt to keep her there if it was an option. A few things stand out about BOD: cleanliness, the staff, and the learning. Cleanliness - My wife and I toured several daycare facilities in the Altadena/Pasadena area and after each one I left wondering how I could possibly come to terms with sending my baby there every day. BOD was the last place we toured because after walking out, I immediately knew that was where I wanted her to go. All of the rooms are immaculate and the toys are cleaned regularly so there isn't that grungy doll laying around that I would only pick up with a set of tongs. While I'm not a germaphobe or anything, having a clean an modern space was important to me. Staff - All of the staff members are warm, funny, and caring. When my daughter comes, she is always welcomed with hugs. To my daughter the staff are extensions of our family. They are the only people I completely trust to watch her beyond my wife and myself. It is truly a family environment and other parents I've spoken to feel the same way. If you are uneasy about teachers openly showing affection (hugs, kisses, cuddling, etc.) then this place may not be for you. But for me, it is exactly the type of environment I want for my child. Learning - I can't tell you how many times I've been surprised by the things my daughter has learned at daycare. Her vocabulary is exceptional, she can count to 20, knows the all days of the week, months of the year, colors, numbers, letters, shapes, etc. While I mainly want her to have fun, play, and learn socialization skills - I'm pleased that she's been taught these fundamentals without it being "school". The one area that could use improvement is parking. There are only a handful of street parking spots so sometimes it is difficult. I don't think they can really do much about it as they are public spaces. But I do find that the staff sometimes parks in those few spots that I think should be reserved for parents picking up and dropping off. All in all, a small frustration compared to the numerous positives. I would certainly recommend this place to anyone 100%. read more

My daughter has been at Beyond our Dreams since she was 5 months old and I could not love them more. I am a bit over the top and over protective, but I have never second guessed my choice in Beyond our Dreams. I truly feel that my daughter feels safe and loved at school. She now runs into the toddler room yelling "friends, friends". Not only is she well cared for, but the education she has received blows me away. She is far beyond other kids her age. I almost crashed the car on the way home one day when she recited the months of the year perfectly, out of nowhere. I have NO complaints about BOD. read more

I was helping a friend look for a Day Care in the Pasadena area, and we decided to call in for a tour. WOW, were we amazed. When first walking in we were introduced to the Director, Jasmine and Mrs. Shirley, we fell in love with them instantly. They are the sweetest and so welcoming and educated in the field. My friends daughter is usually very shy when she first meets others, but the second she walked in she was so happy and comfortable as if she was at home. She was running around, playing with the toys, and LOVED the outside play area. After we got the tour, the decision was very easy, she signed her daughter right up. I know where i will be taking my kids in the near future. Ask for Jasmine or Shirley. They are the best! read more

Beyond Our Dreams Infant Care & Pre-School is the haven parents can entrust their precious children to. As a marriage and family therapist, I decided to attend the grand opening event of Beyond Our Dreams. I observed for the aspects of the center most closely linked with developmental milestones. I also found the space was built to enhance motivation and curiosity for children in their care. In the setting, I found all the tools necessary for an enriching experience and most importantly, I met the director and one of the teachers. Meeting them confirmed to me that the children in the center are greatly taken care of. They are devoted and loving individuals who will surely help children as they reach their milestones in a loving and a safe environment. It is in the early years that an infant is a bundle of emotions and this is when there is a great necessity for their emotional needs to be received well and reciprocated by caregivers. These early experiences determine how children will relate to others throughout their lives. The attachment to caregiver(s) is the foundation for the quality of all communication in an individual's future relationships. I found this most important quality of loving attachment at Beyond Our Dreams Infant Care & Pre-School. It was evidenced by the way the personnel introduced me to the children, how they interacted with them and the way they talked about the children and their families. There was a nonverbal presence of love and acceptance. As a practicing therapist and no availability for me to care for grandchildren (who are not born yet- planning in advance), I am at thrilled to know Beyond Our Dream is the place for them, because it is the place second to a mother's care Great Job Mrs. Jasmine and Ms. Shirley! read more

I don't write reviews often on here but know how hard it can be for parents looking for that perfect daycare for their infant or toddler. We've had our son at BOD since he was about 3 months old (he's now 1-1/2 years old) and at that young of an age it's always hard to leave your child at someone else's care. The first meeting we had with Ms. Jasmine instantly made me realize that this was the place for him. He smiled and connected with her right away. I still remember that moment until today. Our son is always excited to see her and everyone everyone else in the staff he Ioves and can't wait to see. I can't say enough great things about BOD. The whole staff is caring, attentive, nurturing and you can tell how much they love being around the kids and they enjoy working there. The staff gives us a daily sheet that summarizes our son's day and they don't mind if we stay to ask questions about his day. The other thing that helped my decision about this place was how clean and well maintained their facilities are. They keep both of the infant rooms very clean and have parents take their shoes off before they enter. The daycare is a little over a year old now and they continue to make improvements. Our son is now in the toddler room and LOVES being with Ms. Shirley. She's always doing some fun art project and sending us home with the artwork. It's been fun to see our boy grow and develop at Beyond our Dreams daycare. read more

Beyond Our Dreams has been such an amazing place for my daughter. As soon as I walked through the door, I knew immediately that BOD was the ideal place for my baby girl. The school is very clean, organized, and the babies are always happy and engaged in sensory toys. The teachers are friendly, nurturing, and know exactly what each baby needs. She has been attending the school for 2 months and I have already seen so much growth in her. The teachers are so easy to talk to and are always willing to provide an update on how my baby girl is doing each day. My daughter had great difficulty taking a bottle and the teachers, especially Miss Susie, refused to give up. At the end of the day, parents receive a summary of their baby's day, which include the number of diaper changes, nap times, and the amount of milk that was consumed. With my husband deployed and me working full time, it has been such a huge relief to know that our daughter is in safe hands at BOD. The teachers send home monthly art projects and my husband looks forward to receiving the pictures of our daughter's work. I highly recommend BOD because the school has exceeded my expectations.
