Based on our experience, the search fee is about half of what other nanny agencies charge. She sent us the most perfect nanny less than a month into our search-- we did a 1-week trial with her, and she was everything that we had been looking for and our kids loved her. Where to start! Nicola is so different than any other agency in Los Angeles, I was referred to her from a mom friend who found the perfect manny from Nicola, so when my family needed a nanny we reached out. This agency is all about detail and making that perfect match while still being transparent. I have hired other agencys before who push candidates on you, you go through the motions interviewing them even though they don't look like a good fit. Then when you tell the agency it is not what you are looking for they ghost you or go for the hard sell how amazing this person is. I never had that experience here, I was able to give honest feedback and it was welcomed. When a candidate and I had a hiccup during the trial Nicola really stepped up giving me advice on how to work through the situation and connected with the nanny to communicate to them what I needed in the role. She also was a former nanny so when I had a candidate who was not as warm with my children as I needed she let me know some families do not like that, which is not something I ever thought of.
