Worst experience ever. Took them 3 days to diagnose the issue with my phone, they originally said I would be one day. They gave me the run around for these three days "the tech is not in" or "we want another tech to look at it". End result, dead phone. Then they tried to sell me the same phone, WHICH THEY REBUILT POORLY. The screen was terrible, the swiping action did not work well at all. Would not EVER recommend them to anyone, nor will I use them again. Poor quality, poor customer service, poor turn around time. Bad bad bad. read more

This place is amazing. Clean, professional and fast. I came in and got both my cracked iPhone and ipad fixed in less than two hours. I was able to go to the nearby mall within that time and do some shopping while I waited. They also have a big screen tv inside and some kind of spa next door if you choose to wait on site. Customer service initially mislead me on the phone. Stated that it would only take 30 minutes to get my screen and home button changed on iPhone5s. Went to the store and they didn't even have some of the parts in stock. The 30 minutes part was completely falsified. Continued to be told different times. Wasted most of my day sitting in the store with no results. All in total I went to the store about 5 times with no results. Phone came back missing Sim tray. Broken parts that werent broken initially. In the end I'm left with the same situation that I began with which is a broken iPhone 5s. read more

Cracked the lcd on my S4. Mobility quoted a price over the phone, same price when I arrived, pleasant service. Completed the repair as proposed (under an hour) and the work was very neat! About 5 min from Menlo Park Mall, grabbed a cup of coffee there while the repair was done. Looks good. Works well. Why not 5 stars? Cheaper then some but still pricey. read more

My iPad Air 2 screen shattered so I was looking for the closest place to get it repaired. I am new to the Parlin area, and found Mobility & Beyond by searching online. They had a number of positive reviews and even put a link to their Better Business Bureau on their home page. It's Sayerville store is less then 2 miles from my house so I planned on dropping my iPad off and working from home today. The store doesnt open til 11am but when I called no one answered. I called 4 times between 11-11:30 and still no one answered. I decided to call different repair shops in the area and get a quote and just about all of them were $300 or more. I came back to this page and figured I would call the Edison store to see what it would cost there. I was quoted $250 and they said it was in stock. Im originally from the Edison area so I figured I would drop off my iPad and go to DMV while it was being repaired. When I got to the Edison store, the sales rep was very polite. He told me that the quote I had was incorrect. The $250 quote I got on the phone was for the black screen but it wasnt in stock. They only had the white screen in stock and it was $350. Im not sure why the color of the screen has a $100 difference. He said since I was told the cheaper one was in stock that he would do something with the price when I came back to pay and that it should take about an hour to fix. This was at 12:01 to be exact. I left the store thinking the next part of my day at DMV would be the worst part of it, boy was I wrong. I spent an hour and a half at the DMV getting what I needed done and returned to the store at 1:45. When I got there I was told that they needed another 30 minutes to finish my order. Im not happy that they are an hour late on their ETA since I had work to do but what can you do. I go to the mall and grab something to eat and get back to Mobility & Beyond around 2:45 to find out they still arent finished. Now Im pissed. It's another 20 minutes before they bring out my repaired iPad and when I go to pay, I see they are charging me the full price. The person ringing me up isnt the person I originally dealt with so I ask him to go get the rep who started my order. It turns out the 2nd rep I dealt with was the store manager and he went into the back to talk with the original rep. The manger returns from the back to tell me that the orginal rep must have confused the prices between the black and white cases. It's starting to feel like Im buying a used car at this point. For some reason the original rep isnt coming to the front despite there being a line of customers building up behind me. I go on to tell the manager my side of the story. Turns out the Sayerville store never even opened today. The person behind me in line said he just came here from that location and the doors werent open. At this point the other customers are in dialog with me after overhearing how long my day was here and how Mobility and Beyond baited and switched the higher priced screen on me. The manger offers to give me a tempered screen for my inconvenience but at this point I just want to pay and leave. I tell him dont give me anything and that I would consider this a cheap lesson on how his company does business and that I would just put a bad review up online so here it is. The staff itself was very professional and polite but this has left a very bad taste in my mouth to the point I took the time to write this review. Just another case of over promising and under delivering. 3 and half hours wait when you advertise 45 minutes turnover time. Not opening the Sayerville store. Baiting and Switching. Enjoy the extra $100 you made off of me and making me waste half my day waiting for you to fix my iPad. read more

Asked for screen replacement for iPhone 7 they told me the price of an after market screen but they didn't explain before I bought it the difference between after market screen (screen is darkerand original apple screen is brighter), these are things customer should know in advance I wouldn't of gotten it. PTheir original iPhone screens are practically same price as an original apple iPhone 7 screen replacement at the Apple store in wich the charge $139,00 vs 149,00 at the Apple store . read more

Brought my iPod Touch in to get the screen repaired. It looked and worked well for the first two days, and then the right side of it stopped responding to touch. Also, on closer inspection, I found that they did not put the new screen on correctly; the top left corner is lifted from it's normal position and some of the inside of the device is visible. Unacceptable work, especially if the cost of service is 110% the cost of the actual screen itself. read more

I needed the cracked glass replaced on my iPad. They quoted me $125 over the phone then tried to charge me $150. After replacing the glass, screen kept moving around and certain keyboard letters in the upper left hand became super sensitive. If you barely touch the "I" button three to four "I"'s would show. Brought it back twice. They finally said I was out of luck since my thirty day warranty was up. I will never use them again. read more

I went to this place for my IPhone Screen Replacement, i would say they did a reasonable job in fixing that, but i was taken a back by the lack of professionalism. there were 2 guys working around the clock, taking to much work beyond they can handle. the wait time is forever, i was told to come and pick up my phone in 2 hours, when i went there to pick up, they haven't even started working on that. it took them 1 more hour to fix the job. i would recommend this to people who can spare lot of time and baby sit. read more

I'll admit I was skeptical at first. I'm new to NJ and everywhere I go it seems people are trying to scam me. Not here. I called for a quote weeks ago but didn't have time to take in my phone until today. They honored the old quote. They took it to fix immediately and it was done in like 15 minutes. And it was a job that required opening the phone and taking some of it apart. I was impressed. They did very good work. I was also shopping for a new case and the salesperson showed me the case I was interested in as well as a screen protector. She showed me what it would look like on my phone and even had the repair guy put it on for me, no charge. The whole transaction was very reasonably priced (even for New Jersey! Haha). For the last week or so, the acreen was on the fritz... so they opened up my phone and found the issue right away. Less than 30 minutes later, and free of charge, I was on my way home. Complete bullshit service. I called on monday for a itouch lcd replacement and was told it would be done for a total of $45. On tuesday i go into the store for a "new" price of $55. After a three day wait i finally get the ipod back on friday. With a heavily dented silver bezel. Two days later the itouch third generation wont even turn on. Great experience at this place! My iPhone 5C was horribly cracked and pieces from the top of the screen had completely fallen off. When you turned it on, you could see nothing but purple and black spots. I first stopped by here for a quote on 8/03 after work and the girl at the counter was very polite and sweet. She told me that the LCD and screen need to be replaced and it would be $69.55 and a 30 minute wait time if I wanted to get it done then. I was just getting quotes first, but this was the cheapest I found and I came back last week for the repair. There was a different girl at the counter this time, one was glued to her phone and looked like she didn't want to be there, but she was still polite to me. I got my phone back in just under an hour and it works perfectly. I will definitely be back here if I have any other issues and will refer others! read more

This place is AWESOME! The back of my Iphone has been broken for a while but I just always kept a case on it and ignored it. Today the front screen broke though and the lcd wasn't working so I knew it was time to either get a new phone or get it fixed. I looked online and found a bunch of places but this one had the best reviews and cheapest pricing so I decided to check it out. Jesse looked at my phone and said it would only be about $70 to get the front and back screen fixed and to add the purple coloring that I wanted :) Only took 20 minutes to fix! Brought My Iphone 4 in for warranty repair (repair broke in 2 weeks, their repair actually brought about more issues). Was told over the phone it was covered and would be free to fix, got there and was told it was $50+. Very unhappy with customer service, employees are very unfriendly and unhelpful. I DO NOT recommend them. Go to Apple and they will do it right instead of cheap like Mobility with knock off materials that barely fit. I wish there was a manager or owner around to tell them what I thought in person. Ended up spending $80+ (they gave me a "break" because i made a stink, second fix was $30) and gas for two 2-hour round trips. I will never be going back unless it is for a refund of my second repair. Hopefully someone in charge sees this and can remedy the situation. UPDATE: Second screen broke again, in two weeks. put in my pocket, too the phone out to answer a call and there was a crack starting at the Home button zig zagging the whole screen. read more
