Most of the laundry locations around me didn't have this type of service available until I finally located Classic Alterations which is associated with a dry cleaner and self service for laundry facility on Ford Road and Middlebelt. They took my coat in and did a fantastic job on repairing the rip in my sleeve. You can't even notice that it's been repaired. The ladies inside did all the work personally, while in there one time they were doing adjustments on a young lady's wedding dress. It seems they're able to handle just about any kind of sewing or alterations needs that may come up for you. I know it's hard to find the right place that does the right job, but I think that if you try them once you will use them again and again. Customer service goes a long way and this experience was a good explanation as to why there was no one else in the store. Again, the shirt could not be fixed which was understandable, but treating potential future customers like this tells me this store wont be here for long.
