Under $4 for a good size ice coffee. Can't beat the price
    Eve S.

Bakery & Café is located inside 99 Ranch Market. It's a great Asian supermarket that I often visit and when I do...I make sure to get myself a delicious Ice Coffee. I love how these ice coffees are strong but not overpowering and the price is very affordable.

I came back recently to get the matcha latte and the watermelon juice on a Sunday afternoon. The line here gets really long and I had to wait a while before getting to the front and placed my order. Luckily, both drinks that I wanted were ready to go and were on the counter. There are always pros and cons to that right? Pros - I didn't have to add to my wait time but cons - who knows how long it was made before I went to pick it up. The lady ringing me up was very kind and apologized for the wait time. It was very sweet of her. Anyways, after getting both drinks, we walked around the market with it and enjoyed it. Both drinks were decent for the price. The watermelon juice is sweet and refreshing. It was delicious and just a great drink for a hot day. The matcha latte were also cold but it was a bit watered down. Both drinks were cold but had no ice in them. It was kept in an ice cold area on the counter. Sorry forgot to take pics, but I would recommend the watermelon juice and certainly would come back for it again.

AMAZING Sesame Mochi Bread is super duper tasty! It is made with wheat, egg, soy and sesame ingredients and baked to perfection. I am very particular with what I eat but this product is IRRESISTIBLY GOOOOD ! Just add anything like a good aged cheese, some slice of ham (i like german ham) or scrambled eggs with your FAV robust coffee BAM it might just set the tone for your busy day! Enjoy but just warm or toast on a convection oven for NO more than 30-45 seconds so savor the flavor and texture. YO' all must try to believe it but I wouldn't recommend the CHEESE mochi bread because it is just infuse with some low grade cheese that you could hardly taste for an extra charge!

    Fruit tea

I come here maybe once or twice a month for 99Ranch, I order the same thing each time: Fruit tea without oranges, due to an allergy. Each time we come and order, there is an issue: oh we are out of tea, it's gonna be 20m because we are cutting oranges right now (there is 3 employees all cutting oranges? Or is the one making the drinks, cutting them?) It's an inclusion, not in the tea. We got a manager involved last time to fix the issue, suddenly the drink was made in two minutes and the one who took our order was no where near the oranges or cutting them. ??? I came by today, ordered the same thing No Oranges please. He made both with oranges so I took it back and the same employee told me there is no oranges, we use green tea. I pointed at the orange inclusion freely moving in the fruit tea I repeated myself. No oranges please, it's an allergy. He didn't change his gloves and made it again. I know he remembers me, he kept making eye contact. Is it this hard to just make the drink and just not throw the orange inclusions inside? Besides that it's just apple. At this point I don't even think it would be safe to drink, for all I know he just fished it out and poured it into another cup. If there is an allergic reaction, I know who it was. It's not something to play around with.

I like coming to this bird farm location. There's always plenty of fresh baked goods and pastries on the shelves. I'm disappointed in the fact that the prices have been increasing a lot more this past year, so almost any type of pastry is above two dollars now. They also make fresh cakes as well and sometimes you can get additional discount on cakes during the holidays. Bread Farm bakeries are located in Ranch 99 supermarkets. I also got their chocolate latte, which they said was their version of hot cocoa, but it didn't taste good at all. Tasted like very watery hot chocolate. I also order the oolong hot tea, which was tasty at the time, but I ended up getting diarrhea afterwards. So not sure if it was a bad milk or just the combination of the drink with oolong didn't sit right for me. I was disappointed in both drinks but at least their pastries are OK.

    Turkey cake!

Their breads and cakes are really good! I think their bread is even better than 85c! Cakes are decent, not too sweet or dense which is how I like it. They have fun designs for the holidays (like a turkey cake for Thanksgiving!) Drinks - I can never order because I feel like nobody is available to make it and I don't want to wait too long. Their only issue which is bothersome is that they're always under staffed and not experienced (even pre-pandemic.) The cashiers are quite slow and some don't understand you right away. So patience is key. Friday afternoon, the display case was full but come Sunday night, most of it is gone, maybe 5 or 6 cakes left and some are discounted. Yes, they have pork sung bread here sometimes and yes, the bread is fresh!

Cheese bread, coffee danish, chocolate danish, Bo Luo, Blueberry

Overall: 3.5 stars but I couldn't quite click on the 4 stars. Their pastries are in general "ok". Even the kids don't care too much for the breads anymore. Their Danish Bo Luo (common popular pineapple but not pineapple-flavored bun) tastes similar to their other coconut or other crispy crust danishes. However, since I love bread (carbs, one of my many weaknesses Lol), I especially go a little crazy whenever I stop by 99 Ranch Market and being this is the first thing you see: displays of bread/pastries when you first walk in the store, I tend to buy a lot. Price: Decent. $1.25? and up. I think a little pricier than some of the bakeries I frequent when in the Rosemead/Alhambra/San Gabriel area. However, they have their "Buy 5+, $.99 each," deal but has been offered later now because I think it used to be available earlier but today for instance was not offered at 6:30 pm yet. When we finished shopping in the supermarket, at 7:30 I saw the sign and started grabbing away. So initially it seemed difficult to pick 5 because we've tried many of their pastries before and they have tasted ok. But then (possibly because it's dinner time as well) once I start placing a couple in my tray, I always select more than 5. $.99 each for chocolate crispy crust danish, cheese bar (kids love these), coconut flakes filling flavored bread...all look so appetizing. These sweet pastries will always get my attention even with the new 85C bakery that opened up across the street, it's just convenient and too tempting not to get some. They also used to have $.99 milk tea or green tea deals but now costs a little more and I saw today there was a $2.49 boba milk tea promo. Give them your phone number for rewards points (same acct as 99 Ranch rewards number when you buy groceries) and get a stamp for your drink to eventually get a free drink after buying 10. Also, use your Discover credit card for 5% cash back on grocery stores right now (make sure to activate and check out the new categories for the next quarter).

How have I lived in Corona and been missing out on this! The banana nut bread is just beyond amazing. It has the moisture, texture, freshness, and all the flavors for a 5star rating. The price isn't expensive at all. Will be coming back for more!

I love their bread and pastries here much better than 85C (which I used to love). Also the cake is more to my taste because is not as sweet as other Asian bakery that I know of. Service is excellent, I have no problem every time I come and I always ask for box or to put the bread/pastries in the box instead of just cram them in a plastic bag. Price is average compare to other asian bakery in IE. I also like the crimson tea? if I am not mistaken. Tip: If you want to choose from a lot more variety don't come 1 hour before they close. Their bread is soft, warm and fresh - IMO

From my perspective, everything was set and moving forward. Fast forward to the week of my event, I followed up to confirm pickup--only to be told there was no order because they "never received my reply." I understand that technical issues can happen, but this left me scrambling last minute to find an alternative for an event I had been planning. While I did receive an apology, I was also told it's "unrealistic" to follow up with customers who don't respond. Unfortunately, in situations like this--especially when it involves custom orders and time-sensitive events--some sort of confirmation system or follow-up would go a long way in preventing exactly this kind of issue. Not to mention I only ordered a dozen of cookies and was still not accommodated after showing I did respond well in advance. Overall, this experience was frustrating and stressful. I can't speak to the quality of the cookies, but from a customer service and communication standpoint, this was very disappointing.

I know it says on their…read morebusiness profile that they're in Corona - but I lucked out this past weekend when I stopped by their stand they had setup at the Irvine Modern Maker's Mart - over at that plaza where the AMC is, in Woodbridge. Just finished up seeing a movie, and decided to stroll the plaza for food ideas, when I saw the open-air market setup, and checked out the different vendors. Suzie Q had her stand setup near the end of my walk. I was warmly greeted right away as I stepped up to their booth. So many different treats, but what stood out for me was the pumpkin bread - I asked what was inside/what the bread was like. Suzie herself described it as moist (that alone piqued my interest, since I dislike dry breads) - spices, pumpkin. SOLD! Was bummed they didn't have another one - I picked up the last pumpkin loaf ($12). The pumpkin bread itself was DELICIOUS! If you love pumpkin like I do - this is it. The topping/crust has just the right amount of cinnamon-sugar crumbles - sorta like a coffee cake - but the loaf itself... each slice was full of pumpkin. I sliced out thick proportions sorta like a pound cake - and had a slice for with milk for breakfast these past few days. The bread maintained its moisture until the last bite - perfect. There's other goodies at their stand, but nothing that stood out to me since I wanted pumpkin stuff. Suzie shared that she's usually setting up shop at some of the other farmer's markets in the area. You can place an order on her website (she doesn't have a storefront) - but you'd have to make the trek up to Corona to pick your order up.

I needed to get my cookie fix so I stopped in to see what they have. When you walk in, there is a glass case full of cookies and things, and next to it are shelves that have little bags packaged with treats from the previous day at a discount. The store is small but cozy and has plenty of options. They can even make an ice cream sandwich with their cookies, too! Maybe another time; I just needed something small this time. I was offered a sample of something and chose the Rascal, which is a peanut butter chocolate cookie. That was delicious, so I ordered one and also grabbed one of their discounted treats from the previous day, which was a cranberry orange scone.
