We had 2 areas that needed to be regraded - around our shed where we had a low spot and 3-6 inches of water would pool in heavy rain, and around our bilco doors which would pool and leak in heavy rain. The work was done in a day + 1 hour the next, after which we got some heavy rain to test it out. No water pooled and inside the bilco doors was bone dry. On top of quality work, Jason and the team were very personable and professional. On time, worked very hard, finished faster than expected, and cost was exactly as quoted. I thought of getting a wood chipper, a handyman, or someone who would get this pile of tree stuff off my lawn. So, someone suggested a "junk removal" company. I looked on Google and Yelp, and after calling several (remember, it's Sunday night), I liked the reviews for JP Junk Removal, and I called. His phone message said to text him a photo of what needs to be removed, with the address, and I did. SEVEN MINUTES LATER on a Sunday night, I got a text back about his availability! INSTEAD, he surprised me by driving by the next day morning, and I had a price! (The OTHER junk removal places were still waiting to call me.) I said that I'd be at my house at noon, and the OWNER, Jim, was there at 12:10..! In fifteen minutes, he was done, paid, and I was a happy guy when I looked at my lawn and -- no pile of tree limbs and leaves! So, I said I would do a good review for him, and here it is. Their paperwork mistake is costing me THOUSANDS!…read more I am selling my house and I hired Avanti to do the township sewer lateral inspection. Their inspector, Bennett, filled out township paperwork incorrectly. He passed the inspection noting that there were only minor issues which he told me didn't need to be worried about. Bennett noted the small issues in the document stating "These defects are small" and "Defects were noted but I do not believe this constitutes a fail". Unfortunately, he wrote these notes in the "Required Repairs" section of the document. I spoke to the township and they said, even though the document is marked passed they can't approve a document with anything written in the required repairs section. After contacting Avanti and requesting Bennett give us a corrected document, both Bennett and Avanti's Operational Manager call the township and influenced them to not accept a corrected document and require me to replace the sewer line! They did this because they would be liable if anything happened to the sewer line and the incorrectly completed document came to light. Now, the township won't accept even another company's passing inspection document and is forcing me to replace a perfectly fine sewer line! NEVER USE THIS COMPANY!!
