I am used to really getting knotts dissolved i guess you can say and my body going full y into rest mode. Yes, its painful but also necessary. I could feel rhe bumps and weird spots that help tension and lack of digestion in my organs. It reminded me of those Mexican grandma massages you'd get when you were a toddler. While I appreciated the experience I would not return for the deep tissue massage. I would however be curious of the rest of the treatments they offer at this location. The gentleman who treated me was professional and attentive ensuring I felt comfortable at all times and continuously checking on me. He also advised me to continue stretching and hydrating after the massage. Massage gets one star but the therapist and location, including ambiance really make up for it in their own way. Upon my last visit, I was informed of the new contrast service. I have never cold plunged before. I regularly utilize the cryo tank at least 4 times a year, so I thought why not? I was a little nervous, but the contrast room has the perfect aesthetic, and the combination of the dry sauna and cold plunge was AMAZING! The cold plunge is not for the faint at heart, but after researching the many benefits, well worth it! After my session, I immediately felt the differences. My body is still reaping the benefits well in 48 hours. I floated first, then did the contrast. For me, my dream recovery and refocus services for mind, body, and spirit! Great job, Float State! My only small disappointment, I miss the old staff and their genuine rapport and personalities. When I came in, they new my name and I felt like family. Now, I just feel like a number. Followed it up with red light therapy which was super relaxing and left my skin glowing. Finished with a hyperbaric oxygen session that made me feel clear headed and recovered. Upon arriving at the front desk, they give you a spa outfit, some towels, and a wristband. The wristband unlocks your shoe locker and your separate clothing locker. The hot tub area is fully nude whereas the common areas are clothed. I went to grab some dinner and had the croaker fish. The service was fast and easy. The food is a little pricey but their meals came with a lot of bonchon so it made up for the cost! After dinner, I checked out the charcoal room, ice room and salt room. All the rooms were clean and had plenty of space for relaxing! Finally, I had a body scrub appointment at 8pm. I booked the scrub with Jenny and it was an experience! For those who never had a korean body scrub before, you have to soak in the hot tub for 20-30 mins. Then your masseuse will call your name and bring you in the side room. Then you lie on your back on the table and get the ultimate scrub down! I felt so much lighter after the scrub. My skin tone was even and felt baby soft. Then she also give you a cucumber facial and wash your hair for you! My hair was super silky and smooth. They have dyson hair dryers in the women locker rooms which made it easy for me to get ready. Since then, I switched to a therapist who better aligns with my needs, especially for my sports-related injuries and the difference has been huge. I attempted to cancel my membership last year and was told I had to come in person to complete the…read morecancellation. In December, I picked up the required form, filled it out, and personally dropped it off at the location. Unfortunately, it appears the employee who accepted it never processed the cancellation. Despite following the instructions I was given, I continued to be charged $99 per month from December through May. To make matters worse, charges were even made to a different card that I never authorized for future payments. When I discovered the ongoing charges and called again, I was told there was nothing they could do. The manager became very difficult to deal with, showed no interest in resolving the issue, and essentially told me I was out of luck. No accountability, no effort to investigate what happened, and no willingness to help a customer who had already followed their cancellation process. The cancellation process is unnecessarily difficult, and customers shouldn't be held responsible for employee mistakes. I've now spent months paying for a service I repeatedly requested to cancel, only to be met with indifference when I tried to fix the problem. I strongly encourage anyone considering a membership here to get everything in writing and keep detailed records. My experience has been extremely frustrating and disappointing. They also should properly train employees writing up people that they advise customers that contract auto renews and that it keeps charging after 3 month commitment.
