I had 3 trees to remove, we discussed pricing beforehand. $400 per tree…read more Problems started immediately as soon as he realized I'm remotely managing this, with a tenant in place. Dylan visited the property and decided one of the trees was too big and wanted to charge higher amount ($650). I agreed. He then set out to do absolutely whatever HE felt was convenient. He cut one tree down. "Trimmed" another tree. At this point he called me and said he's done with 2 trees, can I send in the money for finishing up two trees. This was a blatant lie. I did not ask for proof, because I didn't think disgusting liars like Dylan existed anymore. I sent him the money. He sent me photos of what he did afterwards, which showed two of three trees still standing. On asking why there are 2 trees still up, he mentioned he spoke to the tenant and decided to keep the tree up. This didn't make any sense. Nobody changes the agreement without discussing it, lies about it to the person paying and gets paid as though they did the full work. That's when he ended up "finishing" the other tree with minimal work done (of trimming) because he had enough with this. Mind you his communication with me was to say nothing about all of this until he got paid, then he said his life was in danger to cut trees. Like who the heck forced him to work on things he didn't want to? He then said he'll "make it right" by showing up on Monday to fix it. Would you guess what happened next? He didn't show up and decided to run away with the money. Dishonest cheats like this shouldn't exist. I'm now looking at legal options to deal with the mess. After completion and review, much of the work started to fail (see photos). I contacted Adam Lewis regarding these deficiencies and was repeated put off for 6 weeks. We paid Adam over $12,000 and he would not address these issues ( excuses given; 'I'm too busy', 'we are really behind on this job', 'I am on my honeymoon', 'really behind on this next job', and my relatives house burned down'). So no warranty. All communication and payments have been documented. So if you are comfortable having work done poorly with zero accountability 'Big Lews' will be right for you.

I reached out to the community looking for a recommendation and was given this guy's number. We went through the whole process of getting a quote, signing a contract and then paid $600 upfront to cover cost of supplies. The day he was supposed to come he was a no show and very hard to reach. When I did reach him he'd say just enough to settle my worries and keep me hopeful. Day2 after moving around plans etc to wait on him yet again, he went from 20 mins away to dropping something off at another site to a no show. And now never returning my calls or texts. Turns out it's his girlfriend who recommended him. I am so disgusted, my husband works hard to provide for our family, and this guy ripped us off a week before Thanksgiving! I am left having to come up with even more money that I don't even have to get my project finished as it is a serious safety concern. I did reach out and ask for our money back, or at the very least the materials, but unfortunately he is no longer answering me.
