When it came about that Mohs was necessary to remove a basal cell carcinoma from my scalp, Dr. Tschetter, her assistant, Shayna, and her scheduling coordinator, Christina, were all fantastic at helping me out. I was able to get an appointment for the same week that I called, they kept me calm and answered all of my questions. Even though I had to go back 3x to get cancer removed, I was glad that Dr. Tschetter was conservative in her approach so that I'll have minimal scarring. She was also meticulous about how she closed up the site so that I will have a straight-line scar along the center part of my hair - it'll be imperceptible once it's fully healed. I am really optimistic about my recovery and couldn't be more thankful that I landed at Dermatology Specialists for this procedure.

I asked to speak to the Doctor Reese, who runs the practice, but she said he was the one that said it would not be honored and was unwilling to discuss. I re-explained the diligence I had taken, her only response continued to be "you are existing customer.." I asked, since I was there, could she honor one of the 2 treatments I had purchased on the Groupon. She said "no, that would be full price, $379.00." Everyone in the office has a lovely smile, makes eye contact and seems happy to be at work. Dr Philbin was such a gift. I had a moment of panic right before surgery and he sat with me and did not rush me through it. He listened to every concern and answered every question. My surgery was performed at Southdale Fairview and I couldn't have been more pleased and satisfied with my care team. Post-surgery, Dr Philbin and his patient coordinator have answered every email within hours, usually minutes, made time for me and seen me when it is necessary. My breasts were bottoming out and spreading apart only 5 years after my first breast augmentation (done by a top-rated doctor in Wayzata) I was being blown off by first the doctor and then the clinic every six months over the course of a few years as my implants looked worse and worse. When I met Dr.Chaudhry he quickly identified that my breasts were bottoming out and that after only 5 years of having implants this shouldn't be the case. He was confident the gap between my breasts could be minimized and that my caesarean scar could be flattened as well (I had a lumpy caesarean scar from an ectopic emergency surgery I had that I didn't like.) I truly felt like someone had finally listened to me and acknowledged that there in fact was a problem. Dr. Chaudhry was always incredibly pleasant to interact with. He also went above and beyond anything I could have expected. He was kind enough to take the time out of his day to meet with my original clinic to go over my case with them and was able to get them to agree to cover the cost of my new implants. Both my breast revision and caesarean revision look AMAZING. My entire experience with Dr. Chaudhry has been incredible and my results truly speak for themselves. Dr. Omlie told me in front of witnesses at 5 separate office appointments that the orthopedic surgeon botched the surgery. He told us the orthopedic surgeon caused the death of my lower limbs. He told me that the orthopaedic surgeon misdiagnosed me and that my limbs were dying due to the orthopedic surgeon botched the surgery. He told me in front of witnesses at five separate appointments. At first, Dr. Omlie was concerned, trying to save me from blood poisoning. I felt grateful that he seemed sincere and cared about my well-being. Then Dr. Omlie switched everything he said to us. We took photos and notes at every appointment. Dr. Omlie had a meeting with the other doctors in the group and Fairview. All of a sudden my diagnosis changed. Dr. Omlie's disposition changed in fear of a medical malpractice lawsuit. He was wrong. He did not uphold the medical Hippocratic oath in our opinion. Dr. Omlie was completely on my side telling my family what happened to me at first he believed it was compartment syndrome. I didn't know what that was. Dr. Omlie explained he the surgery was devastating to my lower limbs the bandages from the operation were wrapped aggressively tight cutting off blood flow then death to my feet. He said, I would lose both of my feet, and he would salvage the heels and ankle. I was absolutely devastated. "A healthy person goes into, what most think of as a minor surgery and loses their feet" Dr. Suggested that I wait for a bit until demarcation was finished and he would know where to amputate. We felt he was completely reckless and his lack of medical care could of killed me. 2 days later, I'm at the hospital for a previously scheduled appointment with a doctor who was extremely concerned about the Orthopedic surgeon NOT Me. He was absolutely unethical. I went to go stop and see Dr. Omlie to tell him what happened and he completely changed. He said, the group called a meeting and we should let the surgeon (that almost killed me and did kill my feet) be in surgery with him. Now Omlie wants the inept orthopedic surgeon involved that "killed my feet" in another operation, while he's amputating me! ??? I was stunned, he flipped on a dime. When I tried to tell him what the unethical doctor did, he laughed and said "I'll have to have a little talk with those boys". We were completely dumbfounded. He completely changed what he was telling us prior for weeks. Then he was referring to his colleagues as "boys". In our opinion, Dr Omlie changed his story-diagnosis and treatment of care for greed. His medical group was way more important then his patient's life. I was heartbroken, I really wanted to believe that Dr. Omlie had ethics. As I stated, this my personal experience with Dr. Omlie. I got 3 opinions over the years...2 that contradicted each other at the University of Minnesota campus and a final opinion from Dr. Hunt. I went with Dr. Hunt (based out of Edina and Burnsville). I had an incredibly great experience at Southdale. Dr. Hunt and the nurses and the staff were all wonderful. They're friendly, informative, organized, and really good at what they do. I really can't say enough good things about them. And they're SO different from the staff I've encountered at the U of M campus, who all seem (in general) pretty stuck up, solemn, quiet, serious, and seem like they have a big stick stuck up their behinds. What a huge difference from Southdale personnel! They obviously have a completely different corporate culture than the U of MN campus. My surgery went flawlessly. I woke up being able to feel my feet, both feet are now warm, no pain...and it's all getting better every day. Amazingly, I hardly had any pain whatsoever. I didn't need to take ANY of the 4 meds they sent home with me. Amazing! Finally, the staff mailed me a "Thank You" card that arrived a couple of days after my procedure.
