Great, fast place for lunch or dinner. I ordered (through Postmates) a combo of butter chicken and lamb vindaloo with rice and garlic naan, along with sides of parata, and aloo tikki. (Enough for two meals.) Gotta admit, I'm not an expert when it comes to Indian cuisine, but it all tasted great! Plus, a lot of care was taken in packing everything up. We ordered filter coffee, samosa, non veg meal with 2 entree (paneer tikka and egg masala) with basmati rice and butter naan. We also ordered vada and malabar paratha. 1. Found this place on yelp and visited because of the amazing reviews. We were totally blown away by this hidden gem. It's one of those places you call tiny but mighty they have an extensive menu and trust me all the dishes are delicious. They have like 4 kinds of lassi!!! Currently Bhojan Xpress is takeout or delivery only. I walk inside with my husband and place an order from items right in front of us on their buffet type line. These are items that can and would be later scooped out taking 30 seconds. Once we finish paying she tells us it will take 10 min to get ready. Not sure what we are waiting for, but okay there is a gentlemen behind us in line. So we step outside and watch inside. Nothing is happening. She's chatting with this other person and casually scooping out some items as if she's preparing orders. After ten minutes I walk back inside to her, still just standing behind the counter. When she sees me she starts to get our items scooped out and handed over. We literally waited for nothing. Some of the worst service I've ever seen, anything but Xpress. read more

I just wanted some decent inexpensive Indian food... Extremely small dining area. After I ordered my food I was asked if I wanted anything else. I asked for a cup of water. I did not get any cup or water for that matter and when I checked my receipt afterwards (email only) it said "Water - $1.50." LOL, wtf! I was asked if I would be eating in or to go. I said I would be eating in and sat down at one of the three empty tables. The guy comes out and says, "you wanted it to go right?" Thinking the order in his hand was mine to go. Ok, so at this point I don't care because it's cramped as hell in there and it happens to be really sunny today so I decide to sit at the table outside. Luckily, they have that going for them. I open up my meal and there are literally 3 tiny pieces of lamb and 3 tiny pieces of chicken in their own compartments. I kid you not, I was charged almost $15 for ~2 oz of meat (I'm being generous here with my eye balling. I will tell you I'm very experienced with meal prepping and weighing my own food out), basmati rice, and some naan bread. Overall, the food was just decent... They also serve different kinds of lassi, Chicoo milkshake, sitafal milkshake, litchi lassi (which I have never heard of but now I'm curious as to how it tastes), and many other drinks and desert to pick from.
