DO NOT go to this nail salon!! I wish I could leave zero or negative stars!!! I had the worst experience l've ever had. The owner "Gigi" was disgustingly rude & tried to charge me an extra $25 dollars for her mistake. She was watching a TV show the entire time she did my nails. She had her phone set up against the little plastic guard & her ear buds in. I didn't mind that until she painted my first coat horribly. Then the second coat got worse. So she said she'd add a third coat. I told her it was just getting too thick & clumpy. Then she said, fine then, I'll add another coat if you're not happy. They were even worse after that! She blamed my nails underneath for the bad paint job!! She had just given me an acrylic fill so it definitely was not "my nails." They looked horrid! I was very polite about it but asked her to remove the paint & redo them with the same color. She actually only had to redo 8 nails, the 2 silver ones were fine. I asked her to just make sure the first coat(of white) was smooth so that the next one or two would look nice. She did, reluctantly, yelling at her coworkers(I knew she was talking about me), being so extremely rude. When they were done, they looked better but still not great. Good enough, I had to get home bc I had a baby waiting and this had already taken way too much time. When I went to pay, the amount sounded super high so l asked for a break down. She tried to charge me $60 for my fill alone because she had to repaint them! $25 extra for her mistake! I refused & said that was totally unfair. She held her hand out and kept asking me to give her my credit card and of course I wouldn't. We went back & forth like this for 15 minutes!!! She said "you Californians come here and want your nails to look 100%!" She kept saying that, even though I have a home in AZ, an AZ drivers license, & license plate... It got really bad. She was yelling & giving me the dirtiest looks ever. I wish I had her camera footage. I finally paid what I originally owed even still tipped her. I wish I hadn't. As I was leaving I said thank you for repainting them, they look fine now. She was still yelling & saying don't come back. Like I ever would! I've told all my friends near by about the experience & none of us will be going there...ever! Ugh. Terrible terrible experience. She also said she's never had one complaint, which is a total lie bc there are so many bad reviews about them & especially her on here. Again, she was the owner and her name was Gigi. I feel bad because I doubt she gave the girl who did my pedicure her tip. I love getting liquid gel done by Vi. All of the girls are friendly attentive and try to make you feel welcomed. I'll be honest, i went one time in a rush and Vi was not there so i have someone else a chance. They failed to do my nails like i would expect but another girl at least tried to fix what i didn't like ( hard liquid gel on stuck on my skin for poor building and filing). With time i was able to chip the side until i could go in and have Vi do a fill. They have too many choices it makes our decision making harder lol I would recommend making an appt if you do liquid gel or dipping powder. But for pedicures they are all really good. If I could give 0 stars I would. I went in for a fill and to fix two broken nails. The nail technician proceed to put on tips and shape the two broken nails, and didn't even try to shape them the way the rest of my nails were shaped. The nail polish then was bumpy & sheer. As you can see the pictures I provided my middle finger was way wider than my other nails & the paint on top didn't even cover the bottom coat of my other nail polish. They proceed to charge me for this horrible job. While doing my nails the nail technician insisted I do gel I stead of regular polish just to charge me more when I was regular. Recently went again for a pedicure and while there was quite surprised to see staff person (Gigi?) be very rude to a customer and belittle her. Customer had politely commented that nails didn't look good and were messy because a 3rd coat had to be applied to make color even and asked if they could be redone. The staff person was not happy about this and verbally rude. When the poor client was satisfied with redo and was leaving, staff person tried to uncharge price of manicure and also insulted customer because she was from California saying she didn't like people from there! What?! I was surprised to be seeing and hearing this and, from the eye contact i got from other clients in store, they were similarly shocked and on customers side. Maybe Gigi was having a bad day, but it was quite something to see! I observed the customer being polite and respectful but standing her ground on requesting a redo for the "goopy" uneven polish and not paying more than quoted price but the staff person was very wrong and displaying bad customer service and common sense. She didn't deserve the tip she still received from the California lady! The spectacle has made me check into other local places for my next mani/pedi. read more

I used to go to this salon consistently. I hadn't gone back for a year or so. I just went back for a special manicure. I walked out of the salon looking like I already had a week of growth and the shape was...so bad. I had to correct it myself when I got home. The guy who did my nails kept making huffing puffing noises like he was aggravated with me when I asked him to correct my shape. The prices have been substantially raised. Also, while I was there a guy came in yelling about how his girlfriend was crying in the car because she hated her nails so much. My sister also got hers done and it was chipped by day 3 so she went back to ask if they could fix that finger and they told her to do it herself. They gave her the color, and when she asked for the top coat they said no. I don't know what's gone on but it's drastically different and was an awful experience. read more

Don't let the English on the signs fool you - these people won't understand you. I normally get my nails done in California, but this was supposed to be a chance to hang out with the bride before her big day. I asked the lady three times if she was going to add tips to make my nail lengths even (a few had come off since my last appointment) and each time she nodded confirmation, but halfway through the first hand I had to stop her and explain to someone else what I wanted. So we moved on to my pedicure and while I had originally said pink & white, I couldn't trust her to do a good job so I asked for a natural pink. She started the pedicure and was about to give me white tips when I reminded her I wanted natural pink. She gave me the ugliest glare! I wish I had asked for a new tech altogether. She then brings out two different shade of hot pink for me to choose from - what about that is "natural"? I finally go with a clear coat just to get it over with. I got 3 minutes of the worst foot massage in the world and even though it was supposed to be longer I was just glad it was done. They gave me a new person for my manicure and it looks ok, but next time I'll make an appointment at my home salon before an out of town event. read more

I used to come here regularly for pedicures from the previous owner--it's usually easy to walk in and get right in during the weekdays. Friendly staff and everyone seems to do a good job. The new ownership has kept the same prices but removed some of the perks--like the basic pedicure doesn't include a 5 min neck massage or the leg scrub--you have to upgrade to get these things that don't matter too much anyway. I don't mind too much but there's a nail spa on nearly every corner these days! Lots of competition!! I think they should consider adding some of the perks w previous pricing...also previous owners gave a 10% discount for paying cash. These "little" things are what would make this place stand out. read more

I went in today to get just a basic pedicure, she handed me the menu and I asked her if the regular pedi included calluses (it had it written in pen next to the description but I wanted to make sure) and she said okay and took the menu from me. I asked again and she said yes. Everything was fine until I asked her to file one of my big toes down a little more on one side because it was lopsided. She proceeded to continue to file the wrong side and I told her multiple times that it was the other side. I tried to explain I just wanted my nail to be straight but she said it looked straight from her view, I ended up asking her if I could just fix it myself and I did. She didn't cut all of my cuticles and ended up painting over a piece of cuticle on my big toe and it left a weird area on the side that wasn't painted and the paint on that toe looks thick and lumpy. She also painted over my pinky toe nail that had fallen off halfway and did not fix it till I pointed it out. I asked for the number 006 color. I just noticed after getting home that the color she gave me was completely wrong. Overall I could have done a better job. I went to pay and she tells me it's $45. The menu she handed me said that the regular pedicure is $25, she pulls out a menu at the front that has $35 written over the $25 in pen. I don't mind the price but at least update all your menus so I'm not expecting to pay one price and then I get a surprise when it comes time to pay. I've stopped in here several times now over the last year for mani/pedis and they always work to accommodate the customers. I just personally prefer my nails to be very natural so I don't ever do any art or design stuff although I've seen other customers happily have theirs done. The place is clean and convenient on the back side of the building near Home Depot and Autozone and I think TMobile is in there also. I've tried a few different nail places so far and this one seems to be the most friendly and consistent. Even when the owners, Don and Vivi recently had a (super cute) new baby and there was really no interruption in salon service or quality. It seems like there are usually 7 or so technicians available and it's easy enough to make an appointment for any particular one. Save yourself some time and money and don't go here!! When I get mediocre pedicures, I say whatever just won't go there again! But this was absolutely the worst mani pedi I've ever had. The nail polish was soooo uneven and thick and came off the next day. The job in general was just so bad. Uneven clipping. I then was trying to be a good customer and give a cash tip so I handed her a $20 and asked for change in ones. She handed me back $10 and said "I'll keep the other 10 for my tip." Ultimately it should've been up to me what to tip her. She should've given me all the change and I would've given her $7, which was way over 20%. I hate to rain on the love parade for this place, but my husband and I went last night for pedicures. I called earlier in the day and MADE APPOINTMENTS. When we got there we waited 20 minutes to even get to the pedi chairs. My husband waited another 10 minutes before a technician even started with him. During the service she cut his toe! The upside of his service was that she gave an amazing leg and foot massage. Now back to my experience.....basically my service didn't begin until 25 minutes AFTER I got seated in the pedi chair (did I mention we had appt. for 5pm)! 45 minutes after our stated appointment time, I finally saw my technician. Unfortunely we had dinner reservations and had to leave in a limited time, so I basically got shafted on the massage! The staff was apologetic about the timing, but first impressions are a killer. So, this place is absolutely amazing. I called at 3:00 p.m. today to get my parents both in for manicures. They set them up with a 5:30 appointment and My parents took an Uber which I had arranged. This place is the worst nail salon I have ever gone to. Ridiculously expensive. I asked a woman who did my nails about five different times to please clean my nails thoroughly as I work outside and she refused to clean my fingers until after my nails were done. And even still I had to remind her to clean them. Needless to say she did a s*** job acrylic was not throughout the fingernail and made my fingernails smaller than the actual size of my nails. She looked American to me but spoke their language anyways she was sitting there texting and a lot of people waiting, now I realize why she doesn't have any clients! I have previously reviewed on Google for 5 stars. Today was the worst experience I have ever had at this salon. The technician was. inattentive and sloppy and rough. I had a pedicure. When he put the provisional flip flop on it drug over my newly polished nails on one foot. I had to draw it to his attention. He then decided to remove the polish on 4 toes, all were damaged, and quickly just polished. He then got up and said, "I think you are done" and disappeared never to return. I finally got up on my own and went to the owner. I had polish all over my skin on both feet and I expressed to the owner. She tried to fix by removing with a paper towel and acetone, but said "it looks good". No tip for this one. I think his name is Jason. The owner called him out and in Vietnamese they talked. She apologized and that was it. I have been going there since they opened and service has always been very good with any tech. I'm not sure I will go back. Very disappointed. read more

Terrible!...I was literally moved aside in the middle of my manicure and made to wait to make room for a lady who had an appointment! The manager of the salon started my manicure, sped through the first part very carelessly, let me pay up front and tip (I tipped 35%) and sent me to wash my hands... when I came back, all of my belongings had been moved to an empty table and she was working on another lady whom she had sat in my place. When she finally returned to me, she tried to polish my nails from a standing position from the side of the table! When I asked her to please sit down across from me and give me her attention, she became offended and hurried carelessly through the polish part as well. She was the manager! When I told her that I didn't appreciate how I was treated, she argued with me and ranted out loud in her language. I told her I was a regular pedicure client but would never return as I was so offended... she responded by telling me to never come there again! I am not okay with that kind of disregard and disrespectful service; I will never go there again. ME LIKEY MIKEY! OMFH! Yelp - I need an additional star to award, please.... This place was the freakin' B-O-M-B!! To start with, it was a total impulse stop - was cruising down Cave Creek on my way back to CenPho when the street signage caught my eye. I whipped into the parking lot where more signage awaited me to help my find my way. Walked in and although by the looks of their posted hours they should have been closed, it was no problem to fit me in. It was 5:00 on a Sunday, there were 4 customers being waited on. The Spa Pedi at $35 was just what I needed - hoping that it was going to turn out even 1/2 as good as it looked on their menu of services. Was offered a decent selection of polishes to choose from, as well as great colors that I could purchase - which is what I opted to do. The Spa Pedi Package was listed as a long soak, exfoliation, callous removing treatment, sea salt scrub and massage, moisturizing lotion leg and foot massage, parrafin wax treatment, polish application, and ..... are you ready for it? A neck and shoulder massage while your tootsie's finished baking under the blue lights.... So, here we go.... My throne awaited me, with an ice cold bottle of water and a really good magazine selection. The brand new chairs rocked! They didn't beat me to death like so many others do. Mikey saw how self conscious I was about sitting in a short summer dress (impulse pedi, remember?), so he politely got a clean, warm towel from the back to put across my lap for vanity sake! The Spa Pedicure treatment did indeed live up to its' description - suffice it to say, probably the best pedi I have ever had - I know, I know, you will find that I have said that before about other establishments... but I am telling you - a full 5 minute sea salt scrub/massage, it had to have been 10 minutes on the leg and foot massage - which included some reflexology techniques, the paraffin was was perfect, right down to the warm terrycloth booties they put over the plastic bags on my feet. Mikey did such a great job on my feet and toes!! I felt like a new woman.... and then came the shoulder and neck massage while sitting under the drying lights.... I have given this place MULTIPLE chances... and EVERY time I am disappointed. If Mikey is working, it's worth it. I planned on having a mani/pedi on wednesday so I called and made an appointment. I showed up before my appointment but sat in the pedi chair for more than 20 min before a tech came over... I ended up pulling my feet out of the water while I waited.
