Ana and Aaliyah are probably the BEST waxers there. So friendly and they do a phenomenal job. Anytime Ana waxes me I always last 6 or 7 weeks with very minimal growth. Everyone is super accommodating too so that's a plus. Unfortunately, this last wax I had to get last minute because of a surprise valentines vacation. I saw someone different but I don't remember her name. She didn't use any serum or anything after the wax and barely applied any pressure. I had to be on the road shortly after my trip so I didn't check until I was at my destination and there were entire patches of hair EVERYWHERE. I know they have their policy for clean ups if anything was missed but I was going to be out of town for a week and a half so that would go well beyond the time frame. I was so embarrassed with my partner. Looking all patchy like that especially on Valentine's Day :( bruh. There was significant growth after a week and now 2 weeks later I look exactly how I did when I came in AND I have SEVERAL ingrown hairs now which never happens. The occasional 1 or 2? Sure. I scheduled an appointment online and made sure to come a little early to fill out the forms. The lobby is dingy and outdated and the front desk is not totally friendly. Very get in and get out attitude. Either way Haley, the lovely lady that did my wax was very quick! Brazilian in less than 15 minutes, and she held good conversation. I didn't feel any excess pain or discomfort, I just wish she applied pressure after the strips and she never asked how the temperature of the wax was for me, and it was kind of hot I had to say something halfway through. read more

I went here for the first time yesterday. Everything went great. I got mustache and underarms done. I made an appointment online, filled out the first timer forms online and got in on time. The entire staff was friendly. Apparently there is a discount applied for first timers which I didn't know about until I was paying and there was almost $30 taken off. She didn't even have to tell me about the special, but she did. Bonus points. I got free samples of the serum that they use. This place is closer to my work than the other chain I go to. So if I ever need an appointment right after work, I will definitely be back here. It also helps that they run longer hours (daily) than the other place, so who knows? Maybe I'll drive a little further out on my days off just to get to this center. read more

I'm expected to arrive to my appointment on time, but they don't even have the decency to have the wax ready and warmed and expect me to wait over 30 minutes for my appointment. I booked an appointment on the app and while I was en route after having packed my kids up got a text my appt was cancelled. I was already driving up and went in. I was told I could be accommodated and scheduled for 5 pm with Marissa. After waiting 20 minutes in the lobby with my kids I was told I had to reschedule. i then was told there was a note to not be scheduled with Marissa. I explained I was okay to see her or anyone especially because I had my kids. She went back to talk with her and came back and said she was refusing to see me. So I was a constant bouncer of places to get my eyebrows waxed (often just where it was cheapest) and my eyebrows were a wreck. I came here and saw suggestions for Chelsea as my expert and Its the best choice I've made in a long time.....lol I never saw myself being a regular but now I have a couple different packages on my account and I couldn't be happier! I've been to two locations and have seen about five different techs. Great experience all around. They do a bit of a sell with their packages and products but that is to be expected, and they're polite and professional about it. I went here for about three months and while my aesthetician was amazing and so nice and friendly, I recently cancelled my visits because the three times that I went to pay and leave, I felt INCREDIBLY pressured to purchase a Wax Pass. No, I don't feel comfortable throwing down $350 on the spot and I shouldn't have to explain WHY I don't want the Wax Pass. I get that's how they get you. Offer the half off wax on your first time and then every single time, pressure you more than a used car salesman to get that commission. Also, I feel that charging upwards of $60 for a Brazilian is astronomical, I only tipped my aesthetician because she was awesome and made it fun to go. The sales tactic though of making you feel guilty for not purchasing the wax pass? Sorry, hard no. I'll find a place in the future that doesn't do this, Thanks. read more

But your confirmation system sending an email the day of your appointment one hour before you are schedule is a BIG no! You guys no longer call a few days before appointment to confirm. What is the call center/office doing if they're not calling to confirm appointment. They're also not passing messages to managers when you ask to speak with one. read more

When everybody in there has their mask on below their nose which renders The mask useless! What's the point? I don't want to wear a mask, I've already had covid and I have the antibodies. Unfortunately I was called and told my wax specialist is no longer with the company... your turn around rate is pretty ridiculous. I don't personally love the idea of having a new waxer every few weeks. I also have to point out what's mentioned in so many reviews, pressuring people to buy a wax pass EVERYTIME they come is overwhelming. If you're that concerned with the increase in pricing consider being more reasonable in your services to begin with. I'll be cancelling further appointments and teaching myself to wax moving forward. read more

She's so nice and fun which makes the visit always pleasant but I love how detail oriented she is. I just moved to Arizona and desperately needed to find my new eyebrow place! I did some yelp research and decided to check out european wax center based on their reviews! If you are a new client and you make your appointment online your first wax is complimentary which is incredible I couldn't believe it! Please be nice and tip your waxer though! I was a little frustrated when I typed the address in my phone that is on yelp. It took me to an edible arrangements store but I was at the correct address listed.. I called them worried that I was in the wrong spot but they told me I was in the correct parking lot I just had to keep driving down. It was pretty far from where I was so I'm confused why they have that address listed. I was just happy I was somewhat in the right place! When I checked in the receptionist went through all of the different deals they have. They have passes that save you money in the long run which is pretty awesome but I also think this might be better presented after the service. Especially if it's someone's first time there. My brow lady greeted me on time and brought me back to the room for my wax. It was my first time getting a "soft wax" and I was super impressed. It felt like she wasn't even waxing my brows, definitely a completely new experience to me. It was fast and easy. Initially my brows looked good to me in the mirror she gave me, until I examined them more up close at home.. I ended up making a follow up appointment but not sure if I will keep it yet. To be honest I was relieved my visit was complimentary. I would have been disappointed if I paid for what I got.. To give them the benefit of the doubt my brows were coming innnn, they hadn't been waxed in about 4 months. As much as I loved the soft wax because it didn't hurt AT ALL, it didn't get all of my hair. I have blonde eyebrows but I can still see my blonde hairs down closer to my eyelids. I think she probably thought that wasn't a big deal because it's blonde but I like my brows to be completely cleaned up and they aren't.. I also don't think she was able to shape them nicely because of the type of wax they use. I just didn't get the clean up I was going for but they look good so I'll give them stars for that. Again, still not sure if I'm going to keep my follow up appointment. I might give them one more shot and explain to them what I wish they did the first time to see if they can pull it off I'd say definitely worth your complimentary first visit to at least check them out! read more

I am here a couple times a month to prevent myself from becoming a full blown wilder beast. It is always a great time when, I am lucky enough to be greeted by Mac at the front desk. She is incredibly sweet and dangerously funny! Now, the lady that keeps my brows tamed, Hannah. She is seriously the best. Really disappointed in the service I got from Cody when I called to schedule an eyebrow wax. I told them I had never been to this location but have been to a European Wax Center before. They couldn't find my information when I was on the phone with them and while I was giving Cody my info, someone told Cody they found me in the system "suddenly". I asked "what location?" and she proceeded to tell me in Albuquerque. Mind you, I've never been to Albuquerque before. Just thought the whole situation was shady. Why lie and say you found me in the system to avoid putting me in as a new client? I was up front in the beginning about having been to a European Wax Center before. I wouldn't recommend coming here. To start, the wax they use is by far the best! I started coming to EWC since I moved to the area and have to say I'm totally impressed! My eyebrows have come to grow (or lack there of) in a strange pattern. They are fuller on one side, one won't grow in an area of my arch (on one side) and one is a millimeter higher than the other. Needless to say,....I was in need of help. I grew them out for a very painful month and went in to see what could be done. Today was my third time going and I'm happier each time. I've been coming here for 7 months or so, and I've had an incredible experience. The receptionists are great! Always very welcoming and smiling, and they get you checked in promptly. Erika is my girl. She is wonderful. I can't say enough good things about her. She's fun, engaging, and makes you feel immediately comfortable when you walk in the room. She was the first waxer I ever had to do a Brazilian on me, and I won't go to anyone else. She's constantly making sure you're comfortable, asking you questions every step of the way. I drive all the way from Tempe just to see her. The thing that I have to commend EWC on is not only the technicians they hire, but their late policy. If you are over 9 minutes late, you are marked as a no show, and I think that is more than fair. This is a very technical process and as the clientele, we need to be respectful of the time it takes for these techs to do their job and do it well. I came in a couple minutes late today, and I timed my waxing appointment. I got a Brazilian and my eyebrows done. I went in around 1:35 and came out a little after 2. If Erika had had another appointment after me at 2, I just put her behind schedule. That's why this no show policy is perfect. If you're past 9 minutes late, you're putting that technician behind for probably the entire day. EWC is amazing, and I love them! Keep doing you! I'll definitely keep coming back! :) read more

I've been going to European Wax Center for almost 2 years at this location just to get my eyebrows done. I've never had a problem with this location, but today was an absolute disaster. I have thick eyebrows and all I asked was for them to be cleaned up a little. When I walked out, I had slivers for eyebrows and I was devastated. I lost my thickness and my arch in my eyebrows. They weren't even symmetrical! I honestly don't know how she could have messed them up so bad. Although the technician did a horrible job, I was treated respectfully afterwards and was offered a full refund and an eyebrow pencil, but its not like my eyebrows are going to grow back anytime soon. They even offered to help fill in my eyebrows after the fact which was nice, but I'm not sure how I will be able to fill them in once I get home. The technician who was kind enough to fill in my eyebrows afterwards was named Erica. I recommend her service because she was very sweet and knows exactly what she is doing, especially if you have thicker eyebrows! If you are going there, ask for Erica. :) OVERALL I was super disappointed in my last visit and I cried hysterically afterwards because it will take some time for my hair to grow back, not to mention I look horrible with my thin & non-symmetrical eyebrows. This location is right by my gym so I stopped in to see what it was all about. Come to find out, since I'd never been to a European Wax Center before my eyebrow wax was going to be free! She was very professional and explained everything she did before she did it. I've had many waxes and know the procedure, but it was a nice touch.
