The crust was thin and crispy, piping hot cheese, just enough sauce. The toppings were fresh. The onion rings are just OK. Our party seemed very happy overall with the service. We kept commenting how professional and fast that Charlie was. I have never tried Alfano's Pizza which is insane considering they have been in Ottawa for decades, and Ottawa is my hometown. It needed a good dose of salt or something, but nothing was available. My wife had their French Dip. I tried a bit of it - she liked it. It tasted pretty good, so she got the better end of the order. Her tea and my Dr. Pepper tasted okay. Service was good. The interior of the restaurant was attractive. It's just the food was amazingly bland. Like blah.
