What a cute boutique in this small quaint town. I was looking for some nice summer clothes that I could wear on the beach or go for a leisurely walk to get coffee and/or errands. Found this hoodie tan cotton dress that is breathable and relaxing to wear. They also have Free People brand attire and lots of adorable souvenirs. Our daughter found a stylish tote and has literally searched for one the last three days and found the one she wanted here. A must stop for chic shopping on the way back from Hana when you're grabbing lunch or a bite to eat :) read more

Horrible service and VERY RUDE TO LOCALS!! I'm astonished to the point I am writing this review.... Went in on a Sunday morning (Mother's Day) - and had a handful of things to purchase (for myself and my mom) and I was with a group of friends.. we were asked to leave after We had just walked into the back consignment room so that a group of tourists could "come in the back room" instead and when my friend replied and said she had just gotten into the back room the rude lady insisted that we leave so the others could come in?? If a dark curly hair lady is working STAY FAR AWAY!! DO NOT SHOP HERE. RUDE Overpriced.. and half the things are not even from here as Amazon boxes were peaking out form the corner of the place.... And not to mention so RUDE. Never again! Spend your money on the shops that treat locals with respect :) read more

comments/ my experience: It was very rainy and we stopped by Paia because it was highly recommended by the people in Lahaina (since we were going to the airport). We went into this cute boutique right before the rain started and everything in here was eco friendly and cute. Many of their items are from locals and the girls who work here will spend time explaining each and every item to you. space: A decent sized boutique but the space in the back (where sales are) is very small. service: Very friendly! price: The items here are pretty pricey. items: We got this cover in replacement to plastic wrap so it's eco-friendly. Will try to attach a photo below since this description doesn't make much sense. Each pack has 2 sizes (small/medium or medium/large) and it was $18/$24 depending on size. One of my favorite shops on island! Such cute and eclectic products, there is truly something for everyone. I love that they have a consignment section as well, I've bought and sold a number of pieces through Rose's closet. I have to acknowledge the staff as well, they are all so sweet and helpful! It's an excellent spot for gift shopping. Visitors will be happy to know they do support many local creators, making great for souvenirs as well. Overall Biasa Rose is a MUST if you're in Paia. read more

I was really hoping to make it to at least one consignment shop in Maui, and I'm really glad it ended up being this one! Biasa has a nice little back area that is made up of vintage, consignment, and previous pieces from their line sold in the front of the store. I found several items I really loved and ended up purchasing three of them - though a couple others really caught my eye. The service was incredibly friendly and sweet. I'd pulled out one piece mentioned above and the owner smiled and mentioned it had come in with a dress - both by the same hand made designer. I ended up purchasing both! :D I loved the taste level here and the prices were fantastic on top of the friendly service. The next time I'm back in Maui, you had better bet I'm dropping in here! read more

We were walking in most of the shops in paia and this one caught my eye. I love unique shops and things you can't find elsewhere. The sales associate said a casual hello as I walked in. They have things for everyone so the range in price could go really low to really high. What I loved most was their consignment shop in the back. Name brand things for super cheap. Of course I found the cutest madewell sandals w/ no price tag and the owner priced it at $10 so it was a steal!! I can't wait to wear them since they're sold out everywhere and super comfortable. I would give them five stars probably, however, the girls working there are so snobby that, it's just not a good vibe. You dont feel comfortable walking around or Heaven forbid, ask a question, so n matter how nice the stuff is, it's no fun if you're being treated poorly. It's a small consignment shop but only good merchandise and the main part of the store has wonderful items, a bit pricey but you're in Paia, so expected. The owner is awesome and sweet and friendly but she's rarely there. All that being said, I'll wait to, spend my money somewhere where I feel wanted. read more

Another successful shopping adventure to Biasa Rose in Paia Town! Found they carry 49SquareMiles brand of wallets and handbags out of San Francisco. Also discovered Calleen Cordero brand shoes, handbags and belts out of LA! Amazingly cool stuff and on sale! Plus they still give kamaaina discounts. Woo hoo! read more

Perfect place to support local artists and the diversity of merchandise in there ensures there's something for everyone to take home. Every single item in this boutique was unique and gorgeous and I am so happy I stumbled upon it. I bought a clutch made of vintage Hawaiian muumuu, made in-house and I will treasure it as a great reminder of my trip. Extremely friendly shop staff. Bought an awesome, brand new pair of FRYE boots here today and a Velvet , off the shoulder shirt from the resale section. I got the boots on sale and the VELVET shirt for $20. very cute shop. Owner and salesgirl weren't overly chatty or friendly, but I like to do my own shopping thing anyway. Very cute shop in a quaint out of the way little town. Loved this place. A couple of people have noted that the prices and selection are what you'd find on the mainland but what's not been noted is that whoever is doing the buying has great taste, so the particular selection is awesome. Some of my favorite labels (bras from Cosa Bella, Tom's shoes, Wildfox sweatshirts and T's plus a couple of local designers) and lovely staff. I probably wouldn't have spent so long in here if I hadn't discovered the consignment selection in the back room but once I did...well, I think I spent the better part of an afternoon poking through the stuff in there. There's all kinds of things and the prices are fantastic. Just to give you a sense of it, there was what looked like a never-worn dress by Tucker for something like 30 bucks, and I bought a very cute cap-sleeved sweater by Juicy Couture for 20.
