This was one of my favorite store experiences! The ladies here made my shopping experience so much fun! I remember picking up a dress and debating "do I want to try this on..." and right away, one of the gals came over and asked if she could start me a fitting room. It didn't feel like a salesperson pouncing on a sale. It felt almost like a slumber party atmosphere! The original sales gal and 2 other workers were now involved and they made it so fun! Once I got in the fitting room, it felt like a fashion show. But instead of everyone telling me "everything looks great/cute" (toxic positivity), they were using their expert language and asking ME how I felt or what I thought. I really appreciated that! They grabbed me other sizes and showed me other versions of outfits (wide leg pants vs. oversized button down vs. shirt dress). I actually wore one of the shirt dresses out! As I was checking out, I noticed another part of the store. I completely walked right past it! And that was their jewelry side! I fell in love with 2 necklaces on that side! By this time, the owner had come out and it was a full blown party. I recently lost my mom - out of habit, I went to call her to ask which of the 2 necklaces she loved best. I had to use the gals at the store to be my stand-in-mom-energy, and I ended up treating myself to both! Now those pieces were expensive (both 14k!) but I wear them every single day. Amazing store with friendly service. The window displays were so good, they pulled us in. One of the dresses in the window was perfect for my daughter. It was the last one in stock and the worker took it off the mannequin so she could try it on. (Sold!) Lots of other interesting merchandise and pretty clothing. read more

This is a fantastic little store in Paia. The shop owner is warm and welcoming, and it feels like she is shopping with you. My best friend and I got beautiful bracelets, for around $50 that we are calling our grown up friendship bracelets. The prices range from high to low, so really you can find anything in the price point you desire. So every time we go to Paia, we make it a point to go to Nuage Bleu. I love this store, from the gorgeous jewelry, pretty selection of resort wear clothing, to the baby and kids section in back; I always find something I want here. This last time was no exception. From entering the store we are always warmly greeted and told to ask if we have any questions. I am always drawn to the jewelry case first and foremost, and love seeing their selection of local jewelry. Let me say, this store is high end and most definitely more on the expensive side. Still you get what you pay for, exquisite jewelry and clothing... you just can't go wrong. I bought a lovely rosary style necklace which I was able to wear for the rest of our vacation. Paia is a fantastic little town - beachy, hippie, mellow, yet has some cute boutiques! This store is definitely the best of them. They carry a terrific selection of clothes and accessories. They have great brands that are well known on the mainland, but also have some wonderful finds from Bali, Indonesia. I loved the adorable beach bags adorned with Pom Poms, and the tassel jewelry was on point. Met the owner and she is so friendly and welcoming. While I was dying to go shopping for myself, I was on a mission: find the cutest baby shower gift I could in Maui. Getting gas at the station next door, I spyed the cutest pink, tulle skirt in the window, complete with fake rose petals in between the layers of tulle, pink polka dot bow sash and a glittery purple butterfly attached that would make any little girl's heart flutter. After having worked with my pregnant friend at Nordie's for years, I knew this would tug on her cute radar. The shop girl was super helpful with insight, as she'd bought the skirt for one of her friend's kids recently and said that the girl loved it to pieces. And my friend was very happy. The rest of the shop was filled with cute, designer pieces and unique jewelry. If I'd had the $200+ dollars to buy the sparkly, raw-cut blue quartz stone bracelet I wanted, I would have in a heart beat. Without having looked at the prices for most other pieces, I'd say that most items are a bit more pricey, like boutiques you'll see in SF, Santa Barbara, LA or the OC. But with all the other tourist ridden places you'll find on Maui, shopping in Paia and at boutiques like Nuage Bleu is refreshing! read more

The owner of the store designs handbags and they are quite reasonable. Alot of the clothes you can find on the mainland, but I was impressed with their accessories the most.
