10 out of 10! I was looking for a new bikinis and I went to all the stores at the shops at Wailea. I couldn't find anything that I liked let alone something that was reasonably priced. The next day I went over to this bikini market and voilà! I found everything I was looking for at amazing prices. They had great regular prices for bikinis in comparison to what I had seen at all of the other shops. Tops and bottoms would run around $50 apiece whereas at the competitor stores nearby each piece was about $90. on top of that, they were having an awesome Thanksgiving week sale with 20% off on the entire store. Outside of this holiday special, the sale racks always have awesome bikinis from high-quality brands at amazing prices. This is the only place I will go look for bikinis from now on! read more

I'm a fan of small businesses and I've always been a big fan of this one. She's a mom local from Southmaui and she has a beautiful bathing suit shop that you definitely need to check out when you're on Maui. She carries a really great swimwear. I went in on Mother's Day. I met her young employee A Young woman who's getting ready to go off to college she spoke about how much she loved her mom and just made my experience really special and I left not only feeling happy but also having a new swimsuit a new pair of sunglasses and a new bag for the beach. I highly recommend this business if you want to come in and find something really beautiful quality made, something that you would see people wearing here a lot of great designers that she carries you will not be disappointed!!!. Stepped into this place because we had read so many positive reviews. Maybe it was too early, but when you say you open at 9 and we come in at 9:15...well. Selection was decent, but CS was lacking. The woman who was stocking barely glanced at us. The kid there seemed way more friendly than the worker. Jewelry was super cute and there was an Aloha necklace I wanted, but I will not fork out over $100 for something that's not even a basic 14k. Upside to this place? Starbucks next door. read more

Giving it 4-star rating as they have great swimwear. Unfortunately, I found the staff extremely rude and not at all helpful; seemed a chore for them to even acknowledge my being in the shop. I was ready to buy a swimsuit for my daughter and even for me but apparently, I wasn't worth their time....although I was the only customer in the shop. Let's get one thing straight BIKINI MARKET DOES NOT MAKE THE BIKINIS!! They simply carry the top name brand swimsuits they get from the designers. So making comments like "go to paia" or "bikini market is horrible quality and scammers" is irrelevant. If you go to paia or Lahaina or even online you will get the EXACT same bikinis from the EXACT same brands for the EXACT same quality... The only difference with bikini market is they have the BEST prices of all these brands. I shop around boutiques a lot and this is by far my favorite place to get my favorite brand name bikinis. I adore this little boutique and the staff is always super friendly and helpful. Always a pleasure too when the owner is in because she gladly fills me in on the latest brand news and what to expect in the upcoming collections. read more

If you're as bikini-obsessed as me, this place is dangerous. They have a great selection of all my favorite brands, including Acacia, Stone Fox Swim, Boys n Arrows, and a huuuuuugggee beautiful assortment of Indah. These bikinis are expensive. It's not a secret. And they cost the same everywhere you go. The girl behind the counter was so sweet and helpful getting me sizes when I needed them and checking in the back when they didn't have my size on the floor. Left with a lighter wallet but a super cute suit! And she assured me they were getting new shipments in soon... As if I needed another reason to come back. read more

Nice small store with a good variety of suits- mostly bikinis, duh. The prices were surprisingly fair for the style of suits. I've always been one to buy suits from Victoria's Secret and Target (bc I'm cheap). The suits are maybe about $20/piece more here, but I swear they fit better. I can't explain why, but they do. There are some suits priced at $100/piece but there are only a handful and you can easily find some that are more affordable. Bonus: they have a sale section where suits and cover ups are marked at 50% off! The salesperson was a sweetheart (she's Canadian, of course) and wasn't pushy. LOVE this store!! I've lived in Maui for 10 yrs, and this is the only place to buy a bikini. So many stores are connected to the "Maui Clothing Company" even though the store names are different. They all have the same inventory. So if you want excellent customer service, buy from a local store, love the many many choices and designs, you need to go here! Cute bikinis and accessories but the prices are ridiculous! I'm pretty sure the lady working there just makes up the prices according to her mood. Both items I was interested in didn't have a price tag and when asked how much, she just threw out some crazy price. She reminded me of the ice princess, zero personality and zero customer service. BOO on all fronts! Terrible customer service, poor product quality and expensive for such awful quality! I wore my bikini ONCE in the ocean and it looked terrible, like it was a year old - frayed material and sand embedded into the fabric -compared to the bathing suit I purchased from home which I swam in, sat on the beach and I had absolutely no problems with the material! I highly recommend taking the drive to Paia (20 min drive) to find an awesome swimsuit selection in the shops and you'll get to check out the surfers riding waves while you're there! OR go north and check out Lahaina - either way, don't waste your time, money or energy on your holiday on The Bikini "scamming" Market! read more
