They claim the stylist I spoke to (the owner) made a mistake but again, she was not there nor did they call her. Then a entirely different woman walks up and lies and says she was the stylist I originally spoke to. I called her out on her lie and she got annoyed at walked away. Needless to say 4.5 hours later I left with a style I did not want at all. My hair unraveled not even a week later and it was a complete waste of money. The stylist who did my hair was nice but this experience was just disgusting. Why lie when I have all the proof in front of you. If I wasn't pressed for time I would have let. I arrived at the salon at 8:00 AM for smedium boho knotless braids. Before my appointment, I…read morespecifically requested smedium, but the braider started my hair with medium-sized braids instead. Once we got to the front of my head, I noticed the parts were uneven and much larger than I wanted. When I told the braider I wasn't happy with the size, she immediately grabbed a pair of scissors and cut one of the braids out, cutting approximately three inches off my real hair. At that point, I was even more upset because I had come in for a protective style and ended up losing inches of my own hair. The salon offered me only a $20 discount after cutting my hair, which I did not feel was an appropriate resolution. Another issue was that there were no mirrors available for clients to see the back of their hair during the appointment. Instead, they offered to take a picture and insisted the braids in the photo were the same size as the ones on my head. To have someone try to gaslight me into believing that my reference photo, which is attached, and the parts on my head were the same size is beyond ridiculous. They were clearly not. To make matters worse, the young lady in the pink Lululemon outfit was very rude. She told me, "I don't have time for this," and said the braider had another client waiting, as if my appointment, which started at 8:00 AM, didn't matter. I had been there since 8:00 AM, and instead of taking my concerns seriously, I was made to feel like I was inconveniencing them for speaking up about my hair. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. Between not receiving the size I requested, the uneven parts, having inches of my hair cut off, the lack of professionalism, and the way my concerns were handled, I would not recommend this salon.

My son has been going to KGS (Fatimah) his entire Loc journey- the barber always hooks him up after his stylist cleans up his locs- and you can't tell him nothing. The owner and her staff are pleasure to be around- patient, professional, clean and fast! I definitely recommend. My kids and I love going to KGS!
