My hair isn't easy to work with, and many stylists in the past have failed to meet my expectations as a result. I came in knowing what lightness and tone I wanted (Goldwell, beige pearl/beige ash). Instead of telling me that she couldn't get me that light in one sitting (which is what I expected to hear since it's the response I usually get with someone new to my hair), Arielle said let's do it and started working on my hair after the consultation. Arielle absolutely nailed it and gave me even more than what I was looking for - my confidence back! I didn't add a blowout to my service as I knew my salon visits were always very long (5 hours on average) and I wasn't planning on doing anything but roll around on my couch for the rest of the day. She wanted to give me one anyway - probably because my hair just looked too good not to style and photograph! I've since moved after my first visit with Arielle. If I were still local, I would 100% continue to see Arielle. Since seeing her, I've never been fully satisfied with my balayage at other salons and with different stylists.
