This school has really deteriorated over the years. Couples move to this area thinking that the…read morepublic schools are so exceptional; however, they quickly realize that the school system here is a mess. Many parents who have children who excel decide to transfer their children to private schools such as Kellenberg, Sacred Heart, Chaminade and Mary Louis Academy. The teachers do little to nothing to challenge the more advanced students, thereby encouraging the parents of the high-performing students to transfer them elsewhere. I was in this school recently and the hallways smelled of marijuana.

The baseball field is above average for that of a public school. The hallways and gymnasium, albeit tidy, are a bit outdated. The staff, however, is polite, helpful and very friendly. The instructors were patient and kind, they believed in me. I had one minor freak out regarding the engine compartment portion and they just shook their heads at me and said "just memorize it" . He tried many testing prep exams, but was stuck between 660 - 690 score in the writing/reading section. We felt he was not ready for Ivy League School applications. We then reached out to Mr. Becker for his assistance. After training with Mr. Becker, he was able to reach 720/800 score for the Oct. 2017 testing. We are hoping to utilize Mr. Becker service 1 more time, to raise his score to near perfect or perfect score of 800 in the writing/reading section for the March 2018 testing.
