Then our friend told us about Ward's and we got MUCH better carpet and a way better pad for less than the Home Depot quote. Our carpet was installed within two weeks (quicker than Home Depot!) and two years later we still love it! After we got our carpet installed my dad remembered that they got their carpet here too, and 20 years later it still is holding up great. And then they'll sneak out before you notice the damage and you will never, ever receive any sort of apology. One would think that the owner of the company would call me immediately upon hearing from my contractor about what took place. No. Two days and I h ad to call him. He defended the installers saying they've been with him for 20 years and this has NEVER happened. Yeah, right. Then why did they pick my house to do a crappy install job? It took my contractor (who contracted with this company) 2 days to fix all the damage after they spent over a month renovating the space. Needless to say, my contractor was not happy. I was absolutely FURIOUS. I had to call off my furniture delivery and movers at the last minute which were both scheduled for the next day and had to wait an additional 10 days to move back in because I had to wait to be fit back into their schedules. Not happy doesn't even come close. This happened in early September and I'm just now able to write this review. It would have been a lot worse had I written it when it actually happened. BEWARE!
