Centre Aventure Chalet des Voyageurs - Map of cycling paths around Mont Tremblant village

One way to explore the Mont Tremblant area is to go by bicycle! There's all levels of cycling…read moreavailable. We went at 10am on a weekday and there were only 2 customers ahead of us. Total wait time was maybe 10 min. There's no physical maps provided so they encourage you to download the digital map. All the trails are off road mountain trails near Mont Tremblant village except one that is paved. It goes into the wooded areas and heads down to the village at Lake Mercier which is either a 6 or 8km ride depending which route you pick. The minimum rental is 2 hours and they have all the types of bicycles you could want...from basic 24" bikes to road bikes to electric bike. We went for their all road bike and it's good enough to tackle the small inclines with reasonable ease arrive it's got 3 front gear speeds and 6 back gear speeds. Don't forget to bring your own helmet so you don't have to rent! The paved cycling path from Mont Tremblant is considered difficult since there are fairly steep slopes... It's a blast zipping through the forest on the downhills but only until you have to climb the next hill. You'll feel this in your thighs the next day :) There were quite a number of these so pace yourself! Some of the turns are sharp and at the bottom of an incline. The path is beautiful and is crisscrossed with some of the mountain biking trails. There are also pedestrians enjoying the cycling trail on foot so watch out for hidden turns in case there are pedestrians. Bikes are not allowed in the Mont Tremblant village so the cycling really is best on the trails. Service was friendly and prompt. Our bikes were in great condition and clean. Overall a fun experience and since I couldn't complete the paved cycling trail the first time around, I'll take another shot at it next time or try the easy unpaved cycling path!

What an amazing crew!…read more I have an old bike, like from a garage sale. It was making this weird thing and was rough to pedal. I assumed it was because I'm out of shape. Passing by, I just thought, "the heck, let's get tuned." I got a pristine and quick experience and for the low price of 17$ (including a new part) they made my old shooting star into a Nimbus 2000.

In addition, they provided timely and exceptional assistance to help us recover from an unexpected crisis. We were scheduled to depart on the shuttle early on a Monday morning. On the preceding Saturday afternoon, while parked at a hiking trail head in VT, the passenger window of our car was smashed. Without a secure car, how could we store our excess baggage during the four days of our bike trip? How could we get the window fixed, given our tight schedule, the location, the weekend, and the limited availability of parts? Maxim, who owns and operates the shuttle service with his parents, arranged to store our extra bags in their small office, (which is a picturesque caboose at the end of the rail trail) and to have someone repair our car window during our bike trip. As a result, we were able to enjoy an uninterrupted worry-free, romantic trip, biking 200 km through beautiful scenery, and including gourmet breakfasts and dinners at each of our three stops. Thank you, Maxim and family, for salvaging this trip by providing storage and arranging repair on an exceptional basis, and demonstrating such a high standard of customer service.
