Placed order for shoes 1/28/2024. 1/29/2024 got a message from the owner stating my size would be available in 2 weeks. I agreed to go ahead with that. 2/16/2024 I get a message from owner stating that my delivery was now pushed back to mid June, 2024. I need these shoes to walk in the the rain and cold weather where I live. 2/16/2024 I asked him for more information and no reply. Since he still has my money for the shoes on 2/17/2024 I sent two e-mails asking for a size smaller that he indicated back on 1/29/2024 he had in stock. 2/19/2024 I still have not heard anything back. So I tried to call the customer service phone number on his website, but I got the following message, "the number you are trying to reach is not accepting calls at this time." Conclusion: It has been over two weeks since I placed my internet order for a pair of shoes, of which my size was listed in the options. I was led to believe the shoes were in stock. I still have no shoes and now I can't seem to get a response from anyone. read more

"AWESOME!" doesn't really seem to cut it. The selection and knowledge here is stupid good! I didn't know shoes could be so technical. I definitely wasn't expecting the selection of the oddball size I need. Not only did they have the size and in multiple styles IN STOCK. That never happens to me. It's always "we have to special order that for you, sir". Also, the guy who was helping me (I think the owner) was telling me about 1,000 differences in what I thought I needed vs. what I really needed. A month and a half later, these shoes are on point and I couldn't be happier. I don't live close, but I can tell you the drive is worth it for me! Thank you Bida crew. I drove down specifically to get a wide pair for my dad. This place is awesome; if you have special feet, you will not be disappointed. The staff is very friendly and helpful! The inventory covers all genders and levels of style, from casual to fancy to zoot suit compatible shoes. They also have an assortment of accoutrements (purses and jewelry). While on our way to Duffy's, we passed this shoe store that caught my eye. I googled it and found out that it's actually a store for big feet- too bad for me, but yay for my husband! I told him that we were stopping there after lunch because I am tired of having to buy his ginormous sized shoes online only to have to send them back most of the time. Once we walked in, I was surprised to see such a huge selection of men and women's shoes. While my husband tried on a few different pairs (which he ended up getting 3 of), I perused around and scored a cute evening bag! The guy who helped us was super friendly and helpful. There was another couple shopping in there at the same time as us and they were kind of demanding, but the employee helping them never lost his cool. They're lucky he wasn't the Al Bundy type because Al would have totally kicked em out of the store. It felt good to support a local store and get my husband some quality shoes without spending a ton of money and time. Next time we are in the area, we'll be back! read more

I have been shopping at Bida for over 16 years and I am extremely satisfied with their selection and service. I am a wide width and cannot find shoes in department stores. When I was first introduced to Bida it was a relief to find a store with a selection of shoes that cater to those of us who do not want to subject our feet to the restricted space of medium width shoes. I like the fact that I am able to get attractive shoes even though I have wide feet. This is the first place I go when I need shoes. My experience has always been great regardless of whether I am attended to by an employee or the owner. I have had to special order shoes that they did not have in the color I wanted; I have had them call me when there is a special sale; I have even asked them to call me when a particular color that I needed arrived in the store. They are always accommodating, courteous, and helpful. I also like the fact that they have a great selection of evening bags and brooches so that for special occasions I can get my shoes and accessories all at the same place. I do not particularly like shopping but shopping at Bida gives a warm "I am home" feeling that makes the experience enjoyable. Over the years the faces of those serving me in the store have remained familiar which reinforces the fact that management has to be doing something right to retain staff. I am told that this shoe store has been under the same ownership for 30 years. It takes a lot of care and effort to keep customers happy. I was pleasantly surprised by their variety of shoes. I have very wide feet and have a hard time finding a good selection. Most stores only have very few pairs in my size. They had plenty! It was definitely worth the trip. read more

Zappos.com has a better selection of wide widths and keeps better records so your deposit doesn't get lost. Save your gas money as Zappos also pays for return shipping! With a year grace period if you haven't used the shows. My $35 is better spent there. read more

A fantastic place to shop! I've been meaning to come here for the longest time; my friend told me they had shoes for me and I'm a tough size to fit. Not only did I find shoes to wear, I found shoes that I LOVE. Usually I have to sacrifice style for size, but not here! All of the shoes they had on display were gorgeous, and they were all discounted at affordable prices. All of their shoes are name brand but with a much better price than at other stores. They also had a gorgeous selection of earrings, necklaces, hats, and handbags (and of course, I got one of each!) The staff there was very welcoming and took their time to make sure we found the perfect shoes for me. I will definitely be looking for an excuse to come back here ASAP! read more

What an outstanding store! I took my 81 year old mother there for a pair of shoes and Willy assisted us. He was so very kind and helpful. She has very wide feet and he made her feel comfortable and right at home. Everyone was very professional and personable. The owners were attentive and the selection, even for a difficult sized foot, was completely impressive. Beautiful bags, sassy shoes, and uniquely artistic accessories. I absolutely love this place! Great find! I can't believe they were able to fit my huge feet! The family that owns the store are so nice and very helpful. I found the prices to be fair and most of all the selection was really good. I got New Balance sneakers and I finally found a gorgeous pair of J. Renee dress shoes that fit me.
