Calling all cowgirls and cowboys. It's time to saddle up and ride out. Davie is a Western loving town and Grifs is the store to get your gear. Grifs was founded by Al Griffin whose family first came to Broward County in 1908 from Kentucky. The family were early pioneers and helped to found the town. Griffin Road is even named for them. Al started Grifs as a small 1,500 square foot feed store 50 years ago. Today Grifs has an international customer base. They are the largest Western store in South Florida with a large selection of boots, jeans, shirts, hats, bags, belts, buckles, jewelry, saddles, tack, and toys. They have clothing for adults down to the kids and they still sell feed. Whether you are off to the rodeo or a rhinestone cowboy, they have you covered. Grifs is an institution in this town.

After 2 days walking from my car to my office

Should have listened to the reviews. Bought a pair of boots and after 2 days the boots fell apart. First they said they were on sale. Then I was told I got them wet. Then they said they cannot do anything until they check with the manufacturer and that could take several weeks. Why should I wait. They do not stand behind their product. Left with the ruined boots and no resolution. Stay away, definitely other options available. Would give ZERO stars if possible

Needed a Western Wear transformation. Michelle McBride, Retail Store Mgr, guided me through the entire process, from boots to hat and everything in between. Based on her own professional life experiences as a horse owner, familiar with most of the top brands & products, she made selecting the best quality & value a breeze. I'm confident that I now have high quality products, at a fair price, that will serve me, well into the future. I would highly recommend visiting Michelle at Grif's before making any significant purchases of western related apparel and related products

Grifs is your one-stop shop for just about everything Western - from cowboy hats and boots to clothing to horse tack and other gear. They carry a bewildering array of things I have no idea what they're for. There is everything from jewelry to clothing to boots to gifts to toys to curry combs to horse tack to you name it. Walking in, the first thing you notice is the rich aroma of fine leather goods. For some reason that always gives me a warm, happy feeling. I'm not sure if it's the saddles and other leather horse equipment by the door, or the extensive (and I mean EXTENSIVE) selection of footwear. Make no mistake about it - this is the DSW of Cowboy boots. They have packed an amazing selection of boots into this store with everything from holographic sparkle to old-fashioned plain leather to snake skin and more exotic offerings. And that's just the lady's section. They have a whole other section for the guys - just as large! This is a great store and it should definitely be high on your list in the area if you're looking for Western gear. Disclaimer: I'm not knowledgeable about horses or Western gear. This was just a quick stop to look for gifts for my horse-crazy niece. But now I know where to go!

Since we do not have a location in Las Vegas, we enjoy stopping when we can most commonly in LA. But upon discovering one here in Fort Lauderdale, we decided to take the opportunity to visit. Very clearly the largest physical store State & Liberty we have been too, but also I am advised in the country, this is a very open layout to view the men's clothing offerings. Quickly welcomed and asked if we are familiar with the brand, the staff is on point with customer service. The brand is relatively new and they want to make sure customers know what sets their products apart for the menswear pack. Athletic cuts and wrinkle free is what set them apart to us. Staff is excellent in their knowledge of the brand and fabrics. Declining the water, coffee and beer options offered us as we browse, we feel taken care of with their hands-off approach to our visit. Quick to help with sizes though and know they are available to assist if need be, we immediately like being here and stopping in. We walked away with a sweater and a shirt today. With athletic cut, non-wrinkle, contemporary cool, high end looking options to offer my husband who has an image to uphold in the world, we continue to love this brand. From suits to shirts purchased in the past and also the sweater and pants we are walking out with today, we have not been disappointed in the quality or cut of State & Liberty. A great store and we are glad we stopped in.

I walked into State & Liberty to check out their clothing selection. I had never been to one of…read moretheir stores before. When I walked in, someone said Hello, but he was busy with other customers, so I browsed around. I liked the fashion styles of the store. Most of the shirts are in the $95 range, where the blazers and jackets are in the $250--500 range. The store itself is very roomy, cozy and nicely setup for formal, casual and athletic wear. The company was founded in 2015 in Ann Arbor, Michigan by University of Michigan friends Steven Fisher and Lee Moffie, the current joint CEOs of the company. The two decided to name the company after an intersection in Ann Arbor, in honor of the town. The idea for State & Liberty originated with Moffie and Fisher believing men with an athletic build wearing off-the-rack dress shirts lacked a professional look. Inspired by Lulu Lemon and athleisure apparel trends that stray away from traditional cotton fabric, the duo prototyped hundreds of fabrics and dress shirt fits on professional hockey players to accommodate their 'V-shaped' body type. Eventually, they settled with their athletic fitting dress shirt made from Athletic Performance Fabric (APF). State and Liberty started as a fully self-funded small business. The company's product line includes athletic-fitting, moisture-wicking, and wrinkle-free dress shirts. In 2017, the company introduced multiple products, including a polo shirt, a long sleeve polo shirt, and an overcoat. Today, you can find a wide variety of shirts and styles at the store.
