From the first time we reached out to him, he was communicative and friendly, answering all of our questions. He was super helpful in the lead-up to our wedding with finalizing our reception timeline and helping us make some music choices. He was a great emcee and made us feel so comfortable, and most importantly, he kept the dance floor completely full all night! Our guests had a blast at our wedding and he was a huge part of that. Thanks again, Chris!

You can really tell Chris loves what he does from the level of detail he puts into his work, his honesty with you on timeline questions, and just how hard he works to make everything perfect. The dance floor was never empty and he kept my party dancing their butts off. Also - if you are debating on the up-lighting DO IT. It made the whole tent feel like a romantic setting for dinner and down-right the best party spot after food closed up. Chris, you made planning so much easier and the night a perfect blast. You were flawless. THANK YOU for a night I will never ever forget!

But the real action was going on downstairs anyway. Once we went down stairs we were greeted and shown around the running displays. Very impressed with the obvious skill and dedication of the model builders. I'm more into the "toy train" look rather than realism, but even so it was VERY impressive. We were told if we become members we can take operator lessons and then are allowed to bring your own trains in and run them on the clubs model lines. That sounds like a lot of fun! One important thing: GFMRC has several different scale models to run your trains on, though the focus is definitely on HO. I saw only one elaborate set-up for O scale "three railers" which is my preferred size.

Our family enjoyed a morning visit to Ogunquit on July 6, 2026. The cool morning and partly cloudy…read moreskies were lovely. We arrived at 8:15am with plenty of parking available at Obed's Lot ($6.25 per hour), which is near the north entrance to Marginal Way (opposite end from Perkins Cove). After crossing the busy street (Shore Road) and turning right, it's a short walk (3 minutes) slightly uphill before you see the north entrance to the Marginal Way on your left (check Google Maps). For those planning a morning visit to Ogunquit, I had two tips. First, try to arrive no later than 9am during peak summer months. At 8:15am, we had a peaceful experience with some people but not huge crowds. By 9:30am, we saw many groups of visitors walking on the trail. Second, go to a public restroom BEFORE walking on the Marginal Way - which does not have a restroom facility (until Perkins Cove). Finally, dogs are prohibited from the Marginal Way during the summer (April 1 to Sept 30) with a $100 fine for violators. Overall, it's well worth a visit - but expect to see lots of people during the summer!

"Your disguise can't hide all the features Of marginal…read morecreatures at best" (Little Feat) While we were exploring coastal Maine, we kept hearing rave reviews about Ogunquit--and especially the Marginal Way. So, on our drive home, we made a little detour and stopped in to see what all the fuss was about. Ogunquit was packed with tourists. A friendly police officer directed us to a parking lot near town hall, so all we needed next was to find the Marginal Way. That wasn't easy to do, because whatever on-line addresses we found for the entrance didn't work out. A friendly passerby gave us solid directions, and we soon found a small entrance sign. So, what on earth is the Marginal Way and where did that bizarre name come from? Well, it owes its existence to a remarkably generous donation. Back in 1925, Josiah Chase, Jr. donated a strip of oceanfront land to Ogunquit, kick starting what would become one of Maine's most beloved seaside strolls- a 1.25 mile cliff hugging path with some serious Maine-like scenery. Think of crashing waves, beach flowers, rocky cliffs, and even a lighthouse. We loved our scenic stroll along the flat wide paved path. I did see some more adventurous souls climb down toward the water, picking up rocks, setting up tripods for photo shoots, or filming Tik-Toks or Instagrams videos for "likes". One more thing: why is it called the "Marginal Way"? The name refers to its location on the margin between land and sea.

We met with Guy a few weeks before our wedding and I instantly felt so comfortable with him. He was extremely professional, took the time to ask us questions and get to know us a little. He felt like a friend! I knew I could trust him to make our wedding everything we hoped it could be. Not only do DJs play music, but you don't realize how much work they do behind the scenes making sure your timeline of the day goes smoothly. I loved that I didn't have to think or worry about anything! Guy connected with our venue coordinator, photographer, videographer, and maid of honor/best man himself so that things went smoothly the whole night. It was so amazing! The music was the BEST, Guy kept the party going and knew exactly what to play to appeal to all different ages. The way he introduced us was professional yet exciting, and he knew how to get everyone up on the dance floor! My maid of honor told him that night that she wanted him to be her DJ, which he will be this September for her wedding! We saw DJs from NuImage Entertainment working at 2 other friends weddings before our own, and I tell everyone I know to definitely use them for their own weddings! Best DJ company by far!!!
