Anyways, after going to various shops in Michigan getting quotes on paint, certain mods I want etc. Fantasy has done nothing but assist in every aspect and do great quality work. I'm getting ready to have my whole car repainted, add some more custom touches to it all from this shop. Guys that work here have been nothing but honest, helpful and friendly. You can't have garbage work and produce some of the custom vehicles they've done. Highly recommend, don't believe me go check for yourself if you live in the area! You wont be disappointed! So like a good wife, I made a wish list. At the top was some kind of rail mainly for our girls ages 5 and 6 to help them climb on up... The only problem was that all of my husband's searches on various aftermarket Jeep parts websites were telling him that the factory rock rails had to be removed permanently. My JL's stock rock rails are pretty bad ass. I *really* did not want to lose them to some lousy side steps. So like the determined person I am, I scoured some online Jeep forums. One in particular led me to ACE Engineering & Fab. Of course, I went straight to their website: https://aceengineeringandfab.com/ When I saw the price tag ($535 per pair), I knew my husband would be a bit taken aback, but he came around after he did his own research. The "side steps" we bought aren't actually just that. They are "Rock Sliders." They look handmade. Stout. Solid welds. PROS (some per their website) + mostly simple bolt-on installation*** + works with or without factory "Rubi Rails" + 2" steel tubing + 0.134 wall thickness + black textured powdercoat + lifetime structural warranty + well-protected during shipping + they text you the FedEx shipment number + and... Made in the USA! CONS - It takes a while for shipping. Overall, it was a very simple task for the husband to install these rock sliders. It definitely helped to have a lever bar and an air ratchet. The only hiccup was when two of the fasteners or whatever holds the nuts in place broke off as he removed the Loctited bolts. He cussed up a storm. "But you said you wanted more time in the garage," I retorted. ;)

My 2015 MINI John Cooper Works needed an oil change. I am very iffy about where I take my vehicle to for servicing. You can't trust just anybody to work on your vehicle when you are away from home. So I looked up Detroit Tuned to take my MINI for servicing. They gave me an appointment for a Thursday when I understood it was on a Wednesday, however when I showed up at Detroit tuned on the Wednesday they did not hesitate to give me service right away. These people are awesome. They made me feel welcomed. Their business is nice and clean. They have a nice lounge with a sofa with a TV and games if you want to play while you wait. They also have lots of performance parts they sell in case you feel like modifying your MINI and want to make it fast or other upgrading. There service is awesome, swift and they well inform you on what they did and how to well care for your MINI. I definitely recommend Detroit Tuned for all your MINI needs.

I dropped off my Chevy equinox the last week of December 2024 to be repaired for collision and…read morepaint. The owner Kouder Abbass charged me a total of $3800. He stated that he would fix the car and have it painted. After calling him at least 12 times the car was returned to me in the beginning of June covered in bird poop and filthy inside with a spray paint job from a can. After the equinox was examined by the Genesis Chevy dealership, they gave me a diagnostic with all of the issues wrong which is posted in review . At this point, my posts about the terrible service are affecting Kouder's business ,so he called me today and threatened to come by my house and hurt me if I don't stop. Please don't deal with this dishonest man, as now I have to file a police report and sue him.
