Once inside the store, I noticed employees hard at work stocking shelves. I appreciated being asked by an employee if I needed assistance not too long after entering the store. I like that all sport area are clearly labeled although I think was annoyed that I was unable to locate running items since there was no clearly marked running section of the store;the closest I could come to finding running related items was in the fitness section. Another minor annoyance was that although there were boxes throughout the store, they were completely out of hand warmer packets. The store is vey well laid out and is great for most sports enthusiasts but if you're someone who's main sport is running, you'll definitely have to look elsewhere for running supplies.

Or, I guess, the wand chooses the wizard, Harry. He spent time going through different rods with me. Then he pretended to be types of big fish and trained me to use my hip to catch said assorted fish. When I found my ideal wand / rod ... it was magical. Next came the reel and it was almost as expensive as a PS4. But my very own Fishing Ollivander recommended it. And I'm not some filthy muggle. Hooks? Done. The only thing "wrong" was that the flimsy barcode sticker had fallen off -- something that clearly wasn't my fault. The hat was brand new, unworn, and still had its other tags attached. All I wanted was an exchange because he didn't realize it was a fitted hat and wanted a snap back hat.. Instead of offering any help, the manager, Jenna, not only refused the return but tried to claim there was a "hair" on the hat, as if that justified keeping my money. The accusation felt insulting and completely unnecessary. Everyone tried on hats in the store so to claim a hair was on it was absurd.. it was unworn and still in the bag.. The corporate office does not have a phone number or an email that works.. you must get on their website and talk to a bot and then a human and then they will email you back in a few days.. still waiting on my email.. Here's the kicker: when I drove back to my local store, they immediately offered to exchange or refund the hat with no issues at all. I came with my partner after spending the day at the outlets near Palm Springs. We arrived pretty close to closing, and even then, it was such an amazing experience. I finally got the Bass Pro hats I've been dreaming about, and honestly, this is one of the coolest stores I've ever been in. They literally have everything for the outdoors; fishing, camping, road trips, hiking... if you need it, they probably have it. They even sell boats! There was a shooting range, archery equipment, grills, snacks, a restaurant, sweets, and so much more. I could have spent hours exploring. And the prices?! An absolute STEAL!! I was shocked seeing hats for $5.99 and $9.99. How?! We also grabbed their BBQ chips, and they were chef's kiss. The employees were very friendly. The cashier who helped us was incredibly kind. She did spend quite a while helping the customer in front of us, and my partner and I were joking that it looked like love at first sight between them. It made for a funny moment while we waited.
