Approximately a year ago today, I visited for an oil change, which should have been a routine service. During their inspection, which did not occur on my recent visit, the previous mechanic left my engine filter unfastened, causing my car to make a whistling noise. Today, my appointment was scheduled with Mr. Velez. Twenty minutes of waiting I noticed that my car was being parked as completed. However, during my approximately one-hour and ten-minute wait today, I noticed that my car had been parked on the designated completed spot, yet I was still waiting and no one was looking for me to cash out. When I brought this to Mr. Velez's attention, he responded counter aggressively with an attitude, stating that he had been checking in customers as a result of the delay. He then handed my account to another gentleman to complete the checkout process. This was my final opportunity to give this dealership a chance, but I was not satisfied with the service. The attitude of the staff was unacceptable, and the car was not cleaned as it should have been. As evident in the accompanying photographs, it was left dirty and oily. For what I paid, is not the value of my stress. I am perplexed by the necessity of scheduling an appointment when the car was completed within 20 minutes. It is unclear why I had to wait an hour and ten minutes when I could have been gone 45 minutes earlier. This experience has left me with a negative impression and a strong desire to avoid future visits.

Thankfully I found and visited Alco auto and was greeted by Mike. He was very patient, quickly explained the problem with my transmission, and answered all of my questions about the repair process. I was provided with a very reasonable estimate for repair and a few hours later my transmission was removed, repaired, reinstalled, and i was on my way. My truck is driving like new again. After the worker finished his conversation, he walked past our vehicle, to retrieve an open energy drink, completely ignoring us. After walking to the other side of the entrance, he looks back and shouts, " Do you need some help?" My husband responded, " No we were just sitting here for no reason" as we left. Please Don't waste your time going here. If you can't pay attention to the only car waiting in the parking lot, I can only imagine how horrible the attention to detail and work ethic is while working on the cars.
