This was not an issue prior to bringing my car in, and I was never informed of any damage when the vehicle was returned to me. When I brought the issue to their attention, instead of taking responsibility, they blamed it on "wear and tear" and told me the car would be fine despite the obvious damage--a gaping hole in the hose. I am extremely disappointed with the lack of accountability and care. Customers should be able to trust that their vehicles will be handled properly and that any issues caused during service will be addressed honestly.

The front desk even suggested that I hold off on the lesser important issues until we were sure that the primary issue wasn't going to become a bigger issue. Once they successfully fixed the first issue. I then decided to have them correct the other to problems they found. This type of service is hard to find and greatly appreciated. All the service was A+ service, and the work is guaranteed for 12 months. Some may say the price was a little high, but the service you get and the warranty was worth it. Unfortunate to have to leave this review…read more I originally brought my 2020 Subaru Forester to Atlantic in March 26 for a new AC evaporator core & expansion valve kit. The dash had to be removed for this to be installed. Unfortunately, the issues with the shop began even before the work started. I made an appointment and dropped off the car......and the car sat untouched for 6 days. No call, no update from the shop. I was without a car for 6 days when I didn't have to be. Once the job was completed (9 days in total) I noticed that there was a crack in my dashboard that was never there previously. The car was also filthy and I found a half eaten chicken wing in the back seat. At the time I did not complain, or leave a bad review, but I wasn't happy. For the next 2 months I noticed there was a mildew, wet smell in the car that I could not get to the bottom of. Forward to late May. When I started the car, my dashboard lights went crazy. I took the key out of the ignition and the dashboard lights did NOT turn off. I took my car to Subaru and they diagnosed the problem. The bottom line is, when Atlantic re-installed my dashboard they forgot to attach the AC drip hose. AC drain water was leaking into the cabin under my carpet for 2 months and caused corrosion and a short in my CAN harness bus lines. Subaru told me that I have to replace my instrument cluster harness and the harness that runs to the back of the car. So, now that I know that this dashboard short was caused by Atlantic's negligence, I brought my car back to them in (Jun 1, 26). After speaking to the management, I find out that my car has again been sitting for 4 days and no mechanic has touched it. Once again no call or update from the shop. The customer service belies Atlantic's google reviews. Atlantic refused to reimburse me for the diagnosis from Subaru and my rental car bills, even though it was their mistake. They say I should have brought the car back to them before I went to Subaru. This does not hold up. Why would I bring it back to them for electrical problems when I had my AC fixed there? They did fix my dashboard and now say the car is fine. The car now has a terrible mildew smell from the AC drain leak. I would not recommend this shop.

You fixed the issue, charged us a small amount of money sent us home not before explaining/advising us that it is a temporary solution and it's better to wait until we can find the part to be available at a reasonable price at the jank-yard, rather than to buy it from the dealer paying top dollar. I took my vehicle to the dealership and they gave me a whole list of issues with it. I don't necessarily trust a dealership, so I brought it to Joe. I never actually met with Joe. I met with the young man behind the counter. I can't remember his name but he was very nice. I listed out everything they had told me at the dealership and had them perform the work. The work was done correctly, which is why they get two stars and not one. The issues are a) they charged more than the dealership, which doesn't seem right to me, and b) Joe, the owner, walked past me three times in the two hours that I sat in his waiting area and never even acknowledged my existence. How hard is it to say hello to a customer in your waiting area? I don't know what has happened over the course of the last five years, but this place is not what it used to be. I was thrilled when I first found him but now, I'll probably just use the dealership. They can get me in and out faster, they charge less and they at least say hello to me. It's just not worth spending my money at a place that makes me feel like they don't appreciate my business.
