After three straight months of poor service I was forced to bring in another company to clean up my yard. I notified Mr. Fetterma that his services were in breach of our contract since he failed to rectify the quality of his work and employees. Mr. Fetterma became combative and somewhat forceful in requesting that I Pay-out the remainder of the maintenance contract even though I dismissed him for failure to perform the duties required of him. He was unreasonable and further more pressured me into paying by suggesting he "stop by my house to collect" the remaining monthly dues. I asked him to make no further contact by phone or text due to the harassing nature of his messages and threatening tone of communication. At one point I asked him to stop bullying me into paying him. One of his responses to me was "you are now insulting what I do for a living" and he was taking it personally that I criticized the poor quality of work done by his company. I was shocked by this response in the past I have made similar complaints to service companies only to have the owner or manager discuss the issue and how to best rectify it. Not so with Mr. Fetterma - his immediate reaction was to have cross words with me, bully me into paying out the remainder of his loan-shark type demands, and file suit against me in small claims court. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY. Unless you are spending large sums of money with them they will not tend to your needs and furthermore run you through should you complain about the quality of work which I had done 2 weeks after I hired them as my landscaper. Mr. Fetterma is not pro-customer and offered no immediate restitution from complaints that were made to him as far back as October 2017. Mr. Fetterma clearly relies upon contractual agreements to retain customers instead of letting the quality of the work speak for itself. Before he filed suit for the remainder of the contract he did not ask to see the problems that I was having or how much the other company had to do, and I had to pay to make my yard look presentable. Also, Mr. Fetterma insinuated that I was making up the claim of subpar service by making me aware that he has GPS in all of his vehicles that tell him the time and place of each of his workers which has nothing to do with grading the quality of work done. That is more for his own use to measure logistical issues. Overall I have never been treated like this by a company that has not performed their service up to standard. In my opinion I am being retaliated against and bullied into paying Mr. Fetterma because I complained several times. Also, I am a single woman who owns the property and I believe that Mr. FETTERMA to be disrespectful and "pushy" because of that fact. Overall this experience has left me confused and feeling threatened by this company since Mr. FETTERMA is incredibly antagonistic. It is certainly worrisome and I feel that I am being taken advantage of - which is a subjective observation.

That my lawn is so green and clear as we head into winter is a huge improvement over previous years. Jeff Sajovie Jr. grew up in the landscaping business and really knows how to get the best results. We hired 131 not only for grass cutting, but for weed control, mulching, aerating, reseeding and plant trimming. Jeff is a perfectionist. He never left our yard until everything was perfect. 131 is not the cheapest lawn service out there, but his pricing is fair. You get what you pay for.
