    Sunday afternoon 2 buck menu

Forgot to tell everyone. The Moose lodge is in a new building down the street. Moose lodge is now in the old Fawnskin Tavern. Nice newer building and they have dart boards and lots of game also. Stop in and you will feel like family. Also children are welcome but cant sit at the bar

    Welcome!

What a great night! We came in last night to have a drink and check out their haunted house. We were super lucky we got there early. We got a table, and joined Lisa (MaryLisa), who was a great companion and knew EVERYBODY! We have been here a few times before, including fish-n-chips night, which was fun and had a couple good bands playing out back, to accompany your fish supper. Well, we got some wine from Lonnie at the bar and Mary, our waitress told us that it was Steak or Chicken night, but that they would surely sell out. We ordered! All four of us got the ENORMOUS T-Bone dinner, which came with garlic bread, salad and a baked potato. It was so big! Once Mary saw we had cleaned our plates, she brought us out 4 huge chocolate chip cookies. Wow. $15 a plate. Incomprehensible. Then, we decided to go check out the haunted house, we were greeted by some youngsters who were obviously excited to be helping. $5 per person PLUS a trick or treat bowl to choose from. We paid and entered. It was fun, lots of dressed up folk hiding around corners, strobe lights, creepy stuff behind each turn, etc. Super fun time! Truly Moose Lodge is the jewel of Fawnskin. LOVED IT!

Away from the touristy hype. Super friendly. You walk in and immediately feel welcome. Like being at a neighborhood party.

BEST WEDDING VENUE EVER!…read more My husband and I dreamed of a wedding where everyone could stay together onsite, immersed in nature, with no worries about driving after a night of fun, and Camp Osito Rancho made that dream a reality. Our families stayed in the health center, lodge, and electrified cabins, while our friends embraced the adventure of summer cabins and tents. The venue offers so many stunning spaces, from the spacious dining hall for meals to the stage/amphitheater with fire pits--perfect for s'mores and late-night stories. We exchanged vows at the top of a hill near the outdoor pavilion, with a gorgeous backdrop of pine trees and a view of Big Bear Lake in the distance. We were able to offer our guests camp activities like archery and a pool day, as well as had room to setup other activities like craft tables and lawn games. The biggest perk was the complete freedom to choose our own vendors, allowing us to create a truly personalized experience (huge shoutout to Scratch Kitchen for catering--our guests still rave about the food). We spent a year making signs, collecting décor, buying solar lights, and crafting to transform this Girl Scout camp into a full-blown wedding festival. If you're up for planning the details, this venue is the ultimate blank canvas. Last but not least, the Camp Osito Rancho team is absolutely amazing. A huge thanks to Angel for her help throughout the year, Ryan for his help throughout the weekend, and to Gerardo for the tour that sold us from the start. For a wedding that feels like an unforgettable getaway, this place is pure magic

From the phone call they make to schedule an appointment to the service I received from Veronica Ramirez. Veronica was SUCH A WEALTH OF INFORMATION! It's important for the integrity of the program and the safety and well-being of clients to address these matters. During my time at the shelter, the Director was rarely present. When she did come in, her behavior was deeply unprofessional and concerning. On multiple occasions, she: * Spoke negatively about other staff members and shared personal problems inappropriately with residents. * Appeared to be under the influence. * She had a male visitor in her office for extended periods, and the door was closed. * Spoke to residents in an unprofessional and inappropriate manner, using street slang and disrespectful language that made many of us feel uncomfortable and unsafe. This kind of behavior is not reflective of the trauma-informed, respectful, and supportive environment that domestic violence survivors need. I am disappointed and hope this feedback will be taken seriously to improve the experience for future residents. Thank you for your time and for the work you do to support survivors. From, Former Resident
