I read some of the comments about rude employees/owners, and I agree, though I was lucky such occurrences only happened to me once or twice over the many years I've frequented this establishment. One thing I thought was rude was how one of the Asian women told me not to bring my own large shopping bag; I understand there is a theft problem nowadays, but it was how she approached the issue that was not the greatest. She should have said to me in a more polite way that sorry, but we don't want large personal shopping bags used in this store. No offense, but sometimes foreigners don't know how to use subtle language to get a point across, and they resort to speaking harshly, or in this circumstance, she just was a bit abrupt and used hand signals about my bag- almost peering into it, while saying I can't use large shopping bags. Recently I recall I did use a large personal shopping bag, but the personnel didn't seem to care. So yeah, sometimes it depends on who is there, etc. On a more positive note, as much as this place seems to have not a lot going for it except a lot of merchandise, many times I have found things that are useful for me and others that I didn't expect. This is one of the more enjoyable things about cruising the aisles of these discount stores. I have found pajama bottoms that were exactly what I needed; have found underwear, sandals, make up, discount priced hot sauce, and other items out of the blue that have worked out well for me. If your the type that has experience with these foreign run discount stores and can find things you need, this might a good place for you.

They had a good selection of brand ice cream (around $5), but also had some $1.25 items, including 'Fast Bites' frozen sandwiches, including breaded chicken which people on-line seem to like (comparable to a McChicken from McDonalds). She was talking aggressive and rude. When manager was asked for an Hispanic male with a grey security shirt comes from the back and he to had a nasty discriminatory attitude and refused to assist in this incident. This store brought about harassment and hostile environment to shop in a local manner . All the employees inside this store are Hispanic and as the incident was being discussed the young lady continued to use unwanted language and unprofessionalism in store while other customers witnessed her behavior and she began to speak in Spanish to other customers and saying " they want to match my energy " as if she was suggesting a physical altercation. After over 30 minutes waiting for the manager to return to the front after several other employees radioed him on the walkie talkie he never came back to the front of the store . I will be making a formal complaint against this store and will notify who administer the grade on the store to get Corporate information . This behavior is unwanted in a prodominally black and brown community. This population is what keeps the lights on in the establishment and common courtesy to customers is all that is being asked for . Maybe a fine or firing of one bad seed will send a very strong message about this community awareness .

Some products are even cheaper than Dollar Tree. They have good variety of everything, some brand names and some generic. Stop by to check out if you go Target. They are next door with walking distance. It's also very convenient if you need something quick and cheap to use and throw away after your stay at the hotels. The store was also very cluttered with employees also restocking and what appeared to be reorganizing merchandise. Um, if it is busy, why not help cashiering to get customers out of their quickly? Most of the employees seemed friendly with the exception of one cashier loudly calling the next customer in an annoying tone like a drill seargent lol. Parking lot was also a mess and very crowded.
