I like this location. I've been going for a little over 10 years, and Ive never been disappointed. It's honestly the highlight of this little shopping center. The shoe rack always has something to find. I've bought Lamelo's, Nike Running Shoes (quality ones), Converse, and Adidas for great value. I even found track spikes at one point. The selection of clothes and items are always pretty solid. When I think of DD's, this place is usually the one I'm referring to, even when I'm in cities with their own DD's. My son went to DD's today 4/01/2026 on or about 4:30 - 4:35 if this is the one on Magnolia off of Ball Rd. He went there straight from school and wanted to inquire about being employed there. Entered the store and noticed cashiers were busy so he walked around to look for an employee. He made a circle and ended up on the left side of the store with which he encountered an employee hanging some clothes on a rack. Employee is a short,older female, short curly almost reddish hair, possibly of brown descent with glasses. My son asked if they are hiring and said the old employee gave him an ugly look and replied , "No." How dare this employee give such an attitude to a youth who is inquiring about a position with her employer. Say ,"I don't know, you may want to ask management." You don't answer ,"No" with an ugly look of disgust. At least the child isn't there lollygagging or looting. He was there in an attempt to gain employment. How dare this person shoot him down with such a look. If it is the manager, what a damn shame for a manager to conduct themselves in such a manner. If this is a normal employee, management should look into that employee. D.D's corporate office needs to look into this store if they have management or employees acting with total disrespect to a prospective employee. I raise my children with proper etiquette and manners. They know how to walk with integrity and talk in a proper tone. My son came home and felt let down by this particular store (DD's). The only positive thing out of this is my son said, as he walked in. The male cashier greeted him with a warm welcome. If I could give them a zero I would and that's only because security was rude (I think he was bald looked like he didn't like his job not my fault ) I went in around 11:20 and he made it seem like I was going to steal clothes I was trying to try on some clothes and I was waiting there in the front fitting rooms no one was helping and he came in and made it seem like I was trying to steal with a nasty attitude I have gone to that store multiple times and never got treated like that disappointed and they need to check that so called security gross personnel read more

Not worth it. I walked in with a drink I had just bought and was told by the security "No drinks allowed" I asked him if there was a sign that said so and he stated outside the store. I did not see it. I have gone to many store locations and have never been told they have a no drink policy at the store. Neither does it disclose that on their website. read more

The service was overall decent however I arrived their at around 9:58. We understood how we needed to wait a couple more minutes however as a worker came in to clock in. What I believe is the manager opened the door and just looked at us and didn't even tell us how much more minutes we had to wait. After this it finally came to 10. The time when it needs to open. So we tried opening but it was still closed. And the security told us 10 more minutes which was crazy since it was already 10. So as we were waiting for the other 10 minutes another lady comes up and all of a sudden they opened. So I would say their value and selection of people could improve greatly in service. read more

I go shopping at DDs Discount in Charleston, SC every Monday. The staff is very friendly, and the prices are very good. I could not believe that I found a Nine West hoodie for $4.99. Most of the shoes that I have in my closet is from DDS. You don't have to pay a lot to look good. I always get compliments on the cloths that I wear from here. As soon as you enter the store, an employee will welcome you to dd's. Everything in the store is cheap, so if you find something that you really like you should buy it. Because the item that you like probably won't be reordered. Remember Ross owns dd's, so I think items from Ross gets marked down at dd's. Usually, my husband finds things for the house and car. I've purchased really nice baby clothes for baby shower gifts. My nurse actually buys nice clothing from dd's. read more

If you were a fan of DD's Discounts on Lincoln Ave. in Cypress and were bummed like me when it was closed down...then fret no longer my fellow discount shoppers! I happened to drive by a recently renovated strip mall with a new DD's Discount's!! There is also a Dollar tree which just opened next door as well! I'm a fan of the great deals here. If you like Ross for Less, Marshal's, or TJ Max...then you're going to love DD's even more! They carry all the same items (generally) but somehow DD's is still less expensive! Plus, it's a clean store that is well kept and well stocked. Huge parking lot, so parking isn't an issue. There are also open, yet to be leased out spaces around DD's so parking in the future might get a little more hairy but for now it's wide open! If you've never walked into a place like this, keep in mind that they are especially paranoid about theft. You are greeted by security when you walk in (very nice and friendly though) and all the workers are on the look out at all times. Justifiably so...any discount store draws in all types. I was even being talked about (loudly enough so I could hear) when taking pictures to post on here. I assured everyone that I wanted to list them on Yelp...and that's part of what you do...take pictures. Most of the workers seemed fine after that (despite one paranoid worker for whatever reason) and I'm hoping they will immediately go to look up their employer on here soon to see that I'm not a thief or crazy person but simply an excited DD's fan and avid Yelp enthusiast! I'm sure the owner will be glad I posted them on here in the end.... DD's gets a D- for effort, the guard and cashiers greet you in unison and that's the extent of the customer service LOL. I spent an hour searching through the disorganized store and finally found four items I really liked and really needed. I get to check out and first items bar code does not scan or go through so the sales person says can I go search for a similar item.... and bring it back, basically wanting me to do their job. Second item doesn't have a tag so it automatically gets priced at $14.99 when the other dresses are not above $9.99. Like an idiot that plays along with the run around I bring back a similar child's shoe but because it's clearanced she can't scan the clearance price for the shoe that has a fake barcode. All these restrictions when it comes to check out time damn, shopping should not be so difficult especially after all the sorting through the overwhelming store. It's doable to scan any item and just give me the other stuff, they are lazy, want to secure their Air Conditioned job, doing absolutely nothing and get paid LOL what a joke. These workers mock you, giving you that phony store greeting,shooting the shit and yapping behind your back,too busy to help or clean the store. It's terrible, I picked out items that were throw backs, miss priced and misplaced by the lady at the dressing room; most likely items just get restocked for the next idiot shopper. As a re-seller I spend a few thousand a month at DD's between all their stores spread out across Orange County, San Bernardino and LA counties. I would spend more if they'd just get more inventory! So having gone to most of their stores, I'd say this location is the worst. It's the worst not because of the selection or cleanliness. All DD's carry the same stuff, some have more items and some have less. All DD's are disgusting and the clothes are sometimes damaged from all the dust in the air and floor. All DD's have disgusting people shopping there. But it's fine, because it's a discount store. The issue with this store is the security guard at the front who shouts, "Welcome to DD's" very very loudly at incoming customers. I know all DD's does this because it's a way for them to let customers know that security is watching you so you shouldn't steal, although there is nothing security can do if you do steal and walk straight out the door. I witnessed this at this exact location. A young man walked in, grabbed a few things and walked straight out in front of the security guard. The guard voiced opposition, but the guy just walked out without even caring. He didn't run when he was outside the store, just kept on walking like it's just another day. Anyways, at this specific store, at this specific day 5/2/2019 at this specific time 12:05 pm, the yelling from the security guard was just obnoxious and unwelcoming. All other associates also greeted everyone with, "Welcome to DD's", but the security guard was extra loud and I think he was doing it on purpose to be cute. I hope they can change this behavior at this store because believe it or not, most people there are customers and not there to steal. The behavior from this obnoxious security guard on this specific date and time was rude and unacceptable. read more

The Perris DD's just opened today, and so I went there earlier today. When I first walked in I thought what a junk store, but decided to come in and take a closer look. I actually did find some stuff I needed for my car and items for the home at good prices. The clothing items are hit and miss, mostly not my style, but here and there you can find some OK styles. Some of the handbags were alright. I think I may have lost my iPhone4 while I was in this store. I wonder if anyone is going to be contacting me about finding it? I had it nestled inside a little black leather case that has my current contact info. I can only HOPE there might be some nice, honest person out there who will contact me of its' whereabouts. I never used it as a phone, only as a camera, and to store some music. I had some photos that were pretty special ONLY to me, and of course, some music that I dearly love. I am very depressed that I no longer have it with me. I hope someone, somewhere will contact me about my iPHONE4. It means a lot to me. One thing I must warn you is about is to shop DDs during the day ONLY, if possible. It's a much more relaxed, and quiet shopping experience. I went back later this evening, and it all of a sudden sounded like the inside of a Kid's Day Care Center. So much crying, screaming, and loud unruly kids with parents that either were deaf to it, or else too tired to discipline them and teach them how to act in public. I suggest you avoid shopping DD's Perris at night if at all possible if you like a more peaceful shopping atmosphere. read more

I came here for the first time today after reading the reviews and honestly the reviews hit it on the dot! However I will say that the two ladies in the front "cashier and security" did say hello and welcome that's pretty much the entire customer service I received. I went to the fitting room and the attendant "Laura" was just rude kinda of bothered that she had to stop doing whatever it was to count my items and hand over a number once I was done I came out I went to give her the items that I wasn't taking she tells me in a rude way "you need to put them on the stand and the number too" WTH!!! Positives. I am a frequent visitor as it's a great store to shop with amazing prices & have recommended it to friends & family. The only downside is the service. Either, there is not enough training for the staff or the managers are not strict. Manager & staff hang around chatting while customers kick their heels in frustration. First of all, this is a HORRIBLE LOCATION! During our first visit, some dudes in the parking lot stopped their pickup truck to ask my family and I if we were interested in buying one of the (what looked to be stolen) stereos in the back of their truck. I highly recommend you avoid shopping here at night. At first, we were confused since we thought we had just walked into a thrift shop. Turns out that this place is merely a downgrade from Ross. No cute clothes. And I doubt the authenticity of the "branded" items being sold. Almost everything is of poor quality -but hey, what do you expect from a store so cheap? Their prices match their merchandise. The only thing that I absolutely love about DD's is their shoe selection for women. The BEST prices you can get for some of the cutest shoes you will ever find! Tatiana at the fitting room was very rude. She was mimicking people right after they had just passed by her and when people would speak to her she wouldn't even bother looking up to see their face. Whenever somebody needed help she would say that she didn't know and that she wasn't in charge of that section. I haven't had any experience with anyone this rude in a long time and I didn't like how she was acting. Update: Her response to my complaint was " B**** I'm Tatiana your a lying sack of s***". This is the worst DD's I've ever been to, I was literally rushed out the store by 9:20 pm. The sign outside says 9:30pm. The cashier told me if we're not out by 9:30 sharp the register will lock them out of cashing us out. I'm sorry but I work in customer service myself, never in my 3 years being in the business I would never rush out someone trying to buy product. If that's the case then maybe the sign outside should say you close at 9:20 and not make a customer feel as if we're taking our sweet time. If I could rate this DD's a negative star I would. I will never return to this dirty store again. To all the of closing employees make sure your lies line up with what is actually posted on your hours on the door.
