After shopping BBP online for years, I was really excited to be able to go in-store and see how items fit in real life before purchasing. I bought a pair of action pants and love the fit - my biggest issue with BBP is how different items will fit differently and may break in differently depending on the cut and type of fabric used. It can make online shopping difficult sometimes as things aren't as cut and dry as making sure something fits your measurements exactly. That said, the person who helped me find the right fit in action pants said they break in quite a bit and to size down, and after wearing them for a few days I can see exactly what they mean! Also have to say how unusual and exciting it is to visit any brick and mortar and they carry multiple plus sizes! Anyway, I was so happy to visit and hope to make it back one day.

4 stars The store is beautifully organized and the colors remind me of the 70s for some reason. Maybe that is what they're going for? I didn't try anything on, especially after checking out the prices. I need overalls and there were some in the back of the store, but the price tag stated $225, so I had to put that back! Talk about sticker shock! The fabric is very thick and the I liked the fact that it's made in the U.S.A. And it's so so so colorful! I'll probably be back in the future to purchase a backpack because I loved the fabric, cut, color, and design of the bag. (Which is $75 btw)

Visited BBP irl for the first time today at the Highland park location and it was SUCH a treat. The workers there were so incredibly nice and even treated me to a birthday surprise . So thoughtful- it makes me want to support this business even more. Mitchie (so sorry if I am misspelling their name) helped me choose a great color and size for my jumpsuit). Thank you!!

SAVE YOUR TIME AND SHOP ONLINE!!!!! WEIRD RULES, RUDE WORKERS, AND THEY NEED TO KNOW WHERE YOU LIVE!!!!!! 1% CHANCE OF COMING BACK IN STORE!!!!! I've followed big bud press on instagram for a while, and also have purchased from their site, I finally decided to shop in person. Last week it was 10/10. Well stocked, very friendly, great service. Yet this week was completely opposite. We were approached by an unfriendly worker who singled us out for buying a lot the previous week. she said the manager made a rule about no transactions over $2,000. Firstly, their overalls are almost $250 for ONE pair. Their tanks are $38. My 3 siblings were in the midst of school shopping, this was their top pick since it is so size inclusive. 3 kids shopping for school clothes, with those prices, and that limit is way more of hinderance than a help. Secondly, we walked in with a group of 7, if needed to know for some weird reason(which apparently they did need to know), we're all divided in 3 houses. Even 3 different cities to be exact. They said $2,000 limit and we had thought they meant each person. Still annoying but the kids needed their clothes the next day so we ignored. The last two people in our 'party' to leave came back saying that they were told that the next time is PER FAMILY and that's what they had meant from the beginning. SO DOES THIS MEAN THAT JUST TO BUY FROM THIS STORE WE NEED TO DISCLOSE WHO LIVES WITH WHO, and WHERE? WTH! They say it's for fraud but their quality is great, everything was tried on. There would be no reason for fraud or even returns. After singling us out, refusing 4 pictures of the same ID, (never been ID'd here before, btw and her attitude about it was really 'don't wanna be here') , the rude worker returned to the back after only "helping" us. Once again, singled out. It's very clear she is who all of these comments about rude / bad service are about. add on all of these reviews on to her resume, because being around people is not her strong suit. .0001% chance of returning. catch me shopping online though Bc FANTASTIC QUALITY. JUST DUMB RULES AND RUDE WORKERS. SAVE YOUR TIME!!!

Interior is nicely arranged and decorated with a very cheerful ambience. I found a couple of items that I liked, and went into the dressing room to try them on. I decided on a really cute sleeveless button down top, and purchased it. Prices are reasonable as well. There was also a sales rack in front of the shop. Street parking was not difficult to find. After leaving the shop later that day, I realized that I should've bought two of the tops instead of one, as I decided to give one as a gift to my sister. So I called the shop, and asked if they could hold another one for me, and that I'd go and pick it up. They did still have the size that I wanted. They were so nice about it, and said that they'd be able to hold it for me for a day, otherwise I could purchase it over the phone, and they'd save it for me. So I did call back when I realized that I couldn't go back and pick it up before the end of the next day. So I was able to purchase it over the phone on my credit card. I went back a few days later, and since I said it was going to be a gift, they had it nicely wrapped in a box with a ribbon! Service was really exceptional. Highly recommended.

I drive @45 minutes to get there and had actually selected a jacket for myself. I tried on the jacket and noticed that there was a $32 discrepancy between the coat on line versus in the store. I waited in the long line (holiday sale prompted throngs) and told (& showed her the jacket I had saved in my phone) the owner what happened. She asked me to wait to check. I waited a good 15 plus minutes during which time her assistant took down the coat from the web site and made it reflect the higher price. Then she brightly asked if I wanted to try it on again and I said no, I need to leave and then she said she wouldn't honor the price that was listed on line stating it was a human error and she was running a small business. I think it is bad form to not honor the price that was listed. She has known than I've brought friends who have spent significant money in her store and I come to her from great distance for years...this was their mistake and I think it's extremely poor form to not honor what was listed. This is customer service at its worse. So much for loyalty. I could easily have bought the jacket on line and picked it up at the store but I thought that would not have integrity. Come to think of it, her actions didn't have integrity. You would think she would cultivate keeping her loyal customer base. What a disappointment.

They have started to skew a lot younger so I mainly go for gifts. This holiday season I did the same. The sales person at the time of purchase mentioned that I had until Jan 10h for holiday returns. Today (1/4/26) I went in to return one item... from the moment I walked in the employee hanging out at the counter was displeased seeing me walk in with a bag & it showed. I was a retail manager for 4 years so I know how much we hate returns but I would never show it because that's customer service! Anywho I went in with my original receipt only to be told that because I didn't have a gift receipt I couldn't return it. I asked for an explanation because since when is a gift receipt better than an original receipt to get a full refund?!?? I couldn't tell you if the store policy sign was there when I purchased it or not but I KNOW I was never told or asked if I would need a gift receipt for a holiday return. Even so, receipt at hand, tags on, and item was in new condition. You would think that the manager would offer something like a store credit because the policy makes no sense. But no, she just had a smirk and cocky attitude. Lesson learned though, don't shop here ever again, supporting local business shouldn't mean buying overpriced clothes like a $32 basic white long sleeve.

I really appreciate the wide variety of styles and trendy pieces they offer, whether it's for special occasions, parties, or everyday wear. The pricing is generally fair for the quality, and I've never had issues with items wearing out after just a couple of uses. I also like that they start a fitting room for you, which makes shopping a lot easier. That said, there are a few areas I think could use improvement. Size availability is a big one -- once an item sells out, sizes don't get replenished, which can be frustrating. On my most recent visit, I also noticed sizing has shifted to run much smaller than it used to. I'm usually a medium and sometimes a small, but I found myself squeezing into large sizes. This makes me worry about inclusivity, especially for shoppers who rely on plus sizing. Customer service is another area where I've consistently felt the experience could be better. The team often comes across as unapproachable or disengaged, like they're just there for a paycheck. While they are polite when you do ask for help, it rarely feels genuine or welcoming. It almost makes me question the manager's maturity and experience because why are they hiring these young girls without customer service skills? Is it because they pay very little? A little warmth would go a long way in making customers feel comfortable. Finally, the return policy could be clearer. While the store offers returns within 14 days, I once had an issue trying to return a holiday-themed item. Even though it wasn't worn, it was flagged as "special occasion" and not returnable. The only notice was a small sign at the register. Policies like that should really be communicated by cashiers at checkout so customers aren't caught off guard. I now warn friends to be very mindful about potential returns here. Overall, I still shop here often and continue to love many of the styles and finds, but I think with improvements in customer service, clearer return policies, and a stronger focus on size inclusivity, this store could truly shine.
