Stopped here since we were in town for the evening and Yelp reviews did not do us wrong! For a Thursday night, we still had a 45 min wait, but ended up just waiting 31 minutes before we got the text. Service was very friendly and fast! Food came out fresh and hot! We ordered lo mein, fried rice, and Tawainese Beef. All delish! My husband said the fried rice was the BEST he's eaten (he loves Chinese!) I would definitely return because the service is friendly, hospitable and their food was perfect! Whatever you do, don't order their chow mein dishes. Ordered that and it was a big dish of bean sprouts with a bland broth. They'll give you a bag of crispy noodles with it, but I'm so incredibly displeased with the meal. The Mongolian beef entree we also got thankfully came out okay, but again, stick away from chow mein unless you love eating a 1000 calories of bean sprouts. So it's pretty simple.. #1 wonton soup tasted nothing like it should.. it tasted like cabbage broth.. I've never seen such small wontons and very Lil meat, minimal veggies ... Hint ... if the Wonton soup is not good ... Full stop! #2 Egg rolls were ordered... tiny, more like a fried spring roll... you can't taste what's not there... #3. Pepper Steak... it was ok ( but I wouldn't order it). ( The house mustard sauce was great I saved that) My wife told me the place was getting full ( pick up order) .. I assume if you like a more bland diet it's good safe food. With any type of Asian food I want to be wowed... We went here on the recommendation from a local Facebook group. The food was ordered via the website and ready sooner than expected. Upon arrival I was asked if we had been contacted because of the "no onions" request. We had not, but it was okay. Our order was checked before we got it to take home. The Snow White Chicken (White Meat) was bland. The sauce was like colored water. The chicken and vegetables were okay. The Tangy Lemon Chicken (White Meat) was definitely soaked in lemon sauce, but could not taste the lemon. I also question if the chicken was entirely white meat based on how some of it looked. Big Buddha minces their chicken so thin and fine to give an appearance that there's meat, but actually, there may be less than 2 ozs of meat for an entire order of moo goo gai pan. The front desk lady (Melisssa) is very efficient doing all sorts of job that she could be of help. Sam is usually the one who attends and serves our orders. He's very friendly and polite. we are a Mexican family and we used to frequent big Buddha restaurant once a week. It just finally became slowly apparent to us that the service was not good and the food wasn't as good as some of the other Asian restaurants we have been to. Not to mention their negative attitude toward me and my family. No, we never caused any problems. They just served everybody else before us and our food eventually just became lukewarm when served. The beef chow fun was lacking a bit in noodles, though it had a lot of everything else in it. First of all, I love American Chinese. I have reviewed Big Buddha several times due to their inconsistency. My first visit was quite good. My second and third visits not so much. So I took a long break from returning. Today, Valentines Day, we went. Very busy as expected, but they were handling it well. The best part was the food was pretty good this time. read more

This place was absolutely slammed, I want to be 100% honest, so I'm not sure if that's the reason for the food quality. The only thing that was good that we ordered was the beef fried rice. We also ordered the almond/cashew chicken, this was boiled chicken in a pool of water and unseasoned vegetables. We also got chicken chow mein, this was also served in a pool of water with no seasoned boiled chicken. We also ordered peppered steak, the steak was actually okay tasting but was also served in a pool of what I am assuming was beef stock maybe. Service was great, we were sat immediately and they seemed to have a handful of "regulars" come in after us that were greeted like old friends. The food was served fresh and hot. We tried, to also call in for takeout, which, for some reason was bifurcated between several companies none of which made our delivery. After waiting over an hour I called the restaurant once again to determine the status of my food order. At that time I was told that the delivery services that were offered was not available.
