I've loved this place since high school (2008) and it still tastes just as good! The egg rolls are out of this world and the lunch specials have a lot of food for $10. Staff are so friendly and welcoming. Definitely recommend.

We were hungry and Wongs in close to home. We walked in and ordered and they were friendly and helped explain menu items. We ordered crab puffs, sautéed spicy chicken, shrimp with vegetables and house fried rice. For everything it was around $35. The food was prepared quickly and we were on our way. The shrimp with vegetables had nice big plump shrimp and plenty of vegetables. Some of the broccoli pieces tasted rancid but everything else was great. The sautéed spicy chicken wasn't anything special and we didn't really care for the house brown sauce. It wasn't even spicy. The house rice was good but wish there was more meat throughout. The rice was cooked well though. The crab puffs had good filling but were smaller than other places. Overall, the food isn't horrible but there are other Chinese places around that we have had better luck at.

Friendly and fast service. Food tastes typical of American Chinese fare. Egg rolls were wrapped with wonton and not rice paper wrappers. The Szechuan Pork was salty and see sauce was thick with cornstarch. Fried rice was meh flavored with soy sauce. Orange chicken was the best dish. However, the batter was thick and soggy with sauce with lots of cornstarch. Egg drop soup was also laden with more cornstarch.

    Super clean and quaint inside!

I've not taken a lot of time to find a solid Chinese restaurant here in Arizona. My wife and I recently moved to Peoria and this establishment has popped up on my Yelp feed a few times. We ordered take out because that's how Chinese food should be eaten. First, the entire Grand Ave. x Peoria Ave. exchange is just bizarre and really missed up. Unfortunately, the restaurant sits kitty corner to Wendy's right on the corner. We walked in and the restaurant is very clean. We were greeted instantly and handed take out menus. I went with the Spicy Orange Chicken combo and my lovely bride went with the Sweet & Sour Chicken combo. In less than 10 minutes, our food was produced to us fresh and piping hot. Next, we got a ton of food. It's a solid combo guaranteed to put you in an Asian food coma. For my Spicy Orange Chicken combo, my main entrée came with a scoop of fried rice, a solitary piece of fried shrimp, a few pieces of sweet & sour chicken and an egg roll. That's a lot of food for $10 as far as I'm concerned. I liked that the orange chicken was spicy as it should be and not caramelized in a candy coating of orange syrup. The egg roll was delicious as was the piece of fried shrimp I was given. The few pieces of sweet & sour chicken I was given was also quite tender and flavorful. The only part of the combo I didn't care for was the fried rice. That's all it was... fried rice in some shoyu. No tiny morsels of pork or green onions or carrots or anything. I love fried rice, but it was bland and sort of lackluster. It was still a good experience and they made a great first impression on me. A solid 4-star contender, indeed!

My husband and I stopped in for a late lunch. We haven't been here in several years. Wong's Jr is still really good. We ordered off of the lunch menu. We ordered the egg flower soup as soup comes with the lunch special. My husband ordered the Schezwan pork with steamed white rice and I ordered the shrimp with snow peas and steamed white rice. We both had hot green teas as well. The food was hot, fresh and delicious. The pork was tender. The shrimp was in a thick creamy sauce. The vegetables were crisp. Every bite was like a party in my mouth--it all joined together in a flavorful mix of flavors. The restaurant is clean the restrooms are clean. The waiter and waitress were very prompt and attentive. They were friendly and they removed our dishes promptly. Parking is plentiful. We will definitely be returning in the future.

Good value especially for lunch. Traditional menu so no surprises. Easy to either dine in or carryout. Great for holidays with pre-ordering

We walked into a COMPLETELY EMPTY restaurant. There was a man folding napkins and he said "sit anywhere!" Ooookay, so we sat at a booth, the RUDE waitress comes over to take our orders, "what you wanna order!?" Super aggressive! We order our usual. During that time I realized that it would be easier to eat at a round table so we could use the lazy Susan in the middle to easily reach our food. So we got up and we're going to move when the man who was folding napkins said "no! Wait for your waitress!" Waitress comes back and literally YELLED at us! Saying, "no!!! Sit at the booth!!" I tried explaining that the table would be too small and she continued to yell at me. I was on the verge of tears and didn't understand why she was so upset. Since we did not eat or drink anything, my husband said "let's go!" So we excused ourselves and left. The man folding napkins stood up and ran to the exit and started recording us. Not only was I scared, but my son started crying and my 70 year old mother began wheezing and breathing fast... they literally ran out of the restaurant as we were getting into our car and kept yelling & recording! I used to order $150-200 food EVERY MONTH!!! However we ALWAYS did pick up. Had I known how TERRIBLE THEIR SERVICE IS, I would neeeeeever have contributed to them!!! Absolutely horrible horrible hooooorible service! DO NOT GO HERE!! There are plenty other places to eat with better service!!! Huge pass and will never ever eeever return

Their food is consistently the same no matter how busy it is, most recently during a heavy dinner hour - prime time. Yes, expect to wait, we started the 30 plus wait time out side and then inside in the small waiting area. It's not fancy by any means. TVs with a game on, servers moving about, and a steady stream of to go orders. We had King Pao Chicken, Beef with broccoli and Mongolian Beef. Also Wongs fried rice & appetizer plate and soups. I had hot & sour soup, absolutely delicious, a little spicy as it should be. My Mongolian Beef was probably the best prepared, very tender beef and flavorful I've had, and always consistently the same each visit. The other entrees severed were equally flavorful, tender meats and served fresh & hot. Servers are kind and knowledgeable of each dish and offer suggestions of their favorites. The seating area is in need of updating but very clean, as are the restrooms. But it's about the quality, quantity & consistency that keeps me returning. Just go!

We ordered the yui shan chicken and the garlic chicken combos (only around $1. more to get soup, crab puff, egg roll and an upgrade from white rice to fried rice.) Based on only trying two dishes my conclusion is that they serve Arizona Style American Chinese Food. It is far less complex, less flavorful, and much less spicy than east coast American take out Chinese Food. It's not bad food in anyway so if you are from Arizona it is very good food. We started eating at the restaurant but I got the idea that I could take the food home and improve it for my taste. The food stayed piping hot and it did taste much better with just a spoonful of chili crisp added more flavors and some needed heat. The people working there seemed very nice and the restaurant looked sparkling clean. 3 stars is a positive review and means A-OK on Yelp.
