I was on the wait list for about 5 months to get a mini aussiedoodle. Oakley has been home for a month now and he is amazing! His parents are Rip and Zoola. I did not get the chance to meet his dad, but Zoola was such a calm dog. I can see where Oakley gets his great temperament from. He does not bark at anything really, and is pretty easy to train. The breeders worked on potty training (on wood pellets) before he came home, which was so helpful. Oakley naturally wanted to go potty outside, or on the bark potty pad I got for him. He is a healthy dog. Came with his first set of vaccinations, deworming and flea treatment, as well as being microchipped. I also received many puppy pictures throughout his first 8 weeks before he was old enough to come home. Would definitely recommend puppies from BCCR! read more

Jacki, at Big Cedar Creek Ranch was amazing to work with! She deeply cares about her puppies and finding forever homes for them. My partner and I were struggling to find a perfect pet for our home due to our allergies and Jacki was very helpful in our decision making. When we saw our little girl on the Big Cedar Creek website, we had to adopt her. Jacki provided us with weekly updates on our puppy, was responsive with any questions and concerns we had, and she coordinated the pick up of our puppy at the airport with ease. We've had our Bernese Sheepadoodle for 8 weeks now and she is a friendly, happy, and smart puppy! She has picked up training and queues like "sit, lay down, and stay" with ease. When meeting new people, kids, and other dogs, she has been very friendly and happy-go-lucky. Her parents are Cedar (Bernese Mountain Dog) and Memphis (Sheepadoodle). We had a vet check when we first got her and recently at the end of her vaccine series, and the vet was very impressed with her health and behavior. BUYER BEWARE Jacki Vohs and her team should be avoided at all costs. Her business practice is awful and she has a ridiculous track record, which I wish we knew about sooner. (Google Jacki Vohs puppy mill and that should be enough to sway you away) Here are a few reasons why to AVOID this "breeder" at all costs: 1) She makes it seem like all her puppies are in Yelm when they are actually all in Oklahoma. I talked to several other puppy owners and they were all just as surprised that she essentially shipped them out and said here's when/where you can pick them up. She will claim her website states they have a combined ranch in OK, but why does she continue to make it seem as if she's located in Yelm? 2) She assured us all the puppies and parents are healthy, even the website states parents have genetic panels done. We wanted this information before we placed a deposit and as you can see from the text message conversation below, she said this would be provided. Jacki never provided the information, coming up with new excuses as to why it can't be provided (e.g she accused us of wanting to breed the puppy; she claimed she would send the papers when the puppy arrived and when they didn't, she said "sorry got tired and forgot to send." Then she has the audacity to make us feel bad for asking for this even though it was promised, but hey, once she has the $$$, she could care less 3) Puppies came with fleas, not a great look. Several other puppy owners also had the same issue and her response is always "we had a vet check the puppy," but how do several other people also have the same issue if your vet checked the puppy for all these people? When we asked Jacki for all of this information and discussed our issues, she would always say "well isn't your puppy healthy?" Essentially neglecting every question we had for her. Love our Aussiedoodle that was bred here so much, but there are some practices here that in hindsight are a bit questionable, especially in regards to the adoption process. Once you are no longer on the waitlist, you will be notified pretty much the day of when a new litter is born, and asked to pick your puppy from a catalog of pictures. This seems to work for the majority of people, but due to demand and pressure created by this system you are not allowed to actually see the puppy in person and their personality before making a choice. We brought our puppy home and immediately noticed that she was exceptionally shy and fearful, but thought that it wasn't anything that couldn't be solved by good socialization. Fast forward five months and our puppy has some pretty severe generalized anxiety that has been diagnosed by both a vet behaviorist and our regular vet and we've been working with a specialized trainer the past few months to help our girl with coping mechanisms and counter conditioning for her reactivity and fear aggression. There are always exceptional cases and we don't lay any blame on the breeder for our puppies predicament and love our girl to bits, her siblings seem to be doing just fine. All this to say that puppies aren't born an entirely blank slate and can have some predetermined traits and personality that may not be the best fit for a certain type of home. So if you are wanting to assess puppies before hand before making a decision you will not be able to do that here. read more

She is one of the few Aussiedoodle breeders that I found who allow you to come and see your chosen puppy before 8 weeks. We found this breeder and after some back and forth communication we decided we wanted to get a puppy from an upcoming litter. We were told there were 2 litters coming in February that we could get a Merle puppy from. The initial communication was prompt and professional. Once she received our deposit the communication was terrible. I had several texts and emails go unanswered. The puppies were not even actually due until the following month. Once a litter was born I was texted pictures. I spoke with my husband and responded that we would potentially like one of them. She told me there were people "ahead of us" that got to choose first. I asked to be notified if the puppy we had interest in was not chosen. I never heard back after this. I sent 3 unanswered texts plus an email. I also called and asked for a call back. She refused to speak on the phone with me and told me to "look at her website" for which puppies were still available. Due to this lack of communication, dishonesty and simply being rude we did not feel comfortable getting a puppy from this breeder anymore. She refused to return our deposit, even though we never signed anything saying it was not refundable. This breeder only cares about money. As soon as she gets your deposit her communication style completely changes. I would urge anyone looking for a puppy to continue your search and not support this breeder. read more

This has been an amazing experience from finding this breeder to take home!!! Jackie always provided great communication and always made time for me even though she may be one of the busiest pet mamas ever! Saying a lot because as a first time puppy owner, naturally had a lot of questions. She never made me feel like I was bothering her. Lives on the cutest little farm with somehow the most adorable cows, lamas, mini ponies and more. She always sent me updates and pics of our baby along the way and let us come see her a couple times. She practiced potty, crate, and groomer training with her which is such a bonus! She's a more chill and well behaved dog for it. We are grateful for that!!! When we picked our baby up and she sent us home with some toys, a lovey with her litter mates scent, vet records, and a bag of food so we had no worries bringing her home to join our family. This breeder should be banned from breeding dogs. I got a mini austrailian pup that had a severe heart murmur and major behavioral issues. A good friend adopted his brother and he has the same aggressive behaviors. Do not buy a pup from this breeder. I am writing a detailed letter to the American Kennel Association. read more

The breeder is clearly looking to turn a profit rather than find the right fit for the puppies -- as was made clear by the fact they do reservations in order of who submits the $600 down payment fastest. I would NOT recommend working with this breeder, she does NOT keep her word or disclose essential facts on her dogs!!! I spoke with this breeder a couple times regarding having severe dog hair allergies in our family BEFORE placing a $500 deposit on a puppy, and was reassured the puppy would have the right kind of hair for our household. However, after placing my deposit, I learned the parents had not been breed together previously and it would be a 1st generation puppy. I called within a couple days and said I could not take a risk and asked for my deposit back since I had NOT signed a contract either. I was told I would get my money back when the puppy was sold. The puppy was still several weeks away from a "go home" date and so I waited patiently, checking in with the breeder often. The puppy was back out for sale along with the rest of the litter for the remainder of the time until the 8 week benchmark. After that time, I left many voicemails to which I never got a response, but finally received an email stating my money would not be returned as promised due to selling her for a reduced price. The blame was NOT with me, but with the breeder! I even offered to take half my deposit, and it was not acknowledged. I would not trust this breeder to be forthcoming on her dogs history and breeding, nor would I trust her integrity! Do not use this breeder!!! read more
