I would highly recommend not using big dans car wash. When you pull up, they will make you think that you're getting a "one time deal" when really they enroll you in a monthly membership without telling you. I had no idea I was being charge $50 a month since April for a service I did not use one. When I went in to talk to management, they were super nice, but honestly completely lied. They told me that their system can show that my car did not go through the car wash more than once since April and that I should be able to get a refund since I did not approve this membership.. after telling me I will be most likely getting my $500 back, the manager calls me and says he can only refund 2 months. I said okay because it was better than nothing. The manager doesnt call me until I contact him and tells me he can extend my membership and "I got you an even better deal" WHAT????!!! It's absolutely not what I asked for. Basically, this place will just messes with you and keeps your card on file. Highly recommend watching the "promotions" and card on file as they are scammers!!! read more

I signed up for Big Dans car wash when they first opened and had a sale where for the first 3 months I paid I believe something like $7 a month and afterwards it increased to &17.99 a month. I love that they have compressed air, interior cleaner and glass cleaner, a lot of other self service car washes just have the vacuum and towels. Every station also has 2 vacuum heads, a regular sized one and a smaller one for places like in between the seat and middle console and being that they are newer all of the vacuums still have great suction. I like that they're conveniently located off Dale Mabry, they've become so popular that recently I have found myself waiting a little bit but the representatives keep things moving efficiently. read more

Had membership at other car wash locations similar to these and none come close to big Dan's. The wash is long and thoroughly washed and rinses your car. The Vacuums are new and powerful. The blowers to dust the inside of the car work spectacular! And the towels to help detail the car are top notch feature. Interior cleaning spray and window cleaner included! Went to have wash,I paid for the Shine wash. Came out and started to dry. Still dirty and no tire shine. Window cleaner didn't work. Went to manager and he was very apologetic and told me he knew a car didn't get the right wash but didn't know it was mine. He gave me a coupon for another wash to come in within 2day by the 6th November. I came in on the 6th and the refused because they said it was to late. It was the 6th. This is likely the best car wash I have ever been to. The staff were incredibly professional and courteous. One of the staff members (John) noticed the car wash didn't get all of the dirt off of our car. He made sure we got a reclean on the house. Additionally, the cleaners and vacuum cleaners they provide are pretty solid. We were able to get my wife's car pretty darn clean. We really appreciated the establishment and there customer service. Always a long wait for vacuuming and interior cleaning areas. Not worth the money even with monthly fees

It's gonna be a no for me. I'm not going to go line by line because I don't want to come off as someone that complains about everything, but I easily could. First, the entrance is not well posted. And there is only one way in, so you'll have to loop around if/when you miss it. The customer service left a lot to be desired. Not friendly or very helpful. The lot is not big enough to run that operation. The wash itself was ok, but the detail area is way too small for the amount of traffic, the vacuums and air compressors barely worked at all. The manager removed a board from the back of my truck, which has been in the bed for years and has never budged in a wash, and told me I could come get it when I was done. I went to retrieve it and couldn't find it. He was not helpful when I asked, saying "it's over there" and pointing at the ground, being blocked by a vehicle. Because I'd already attempted to leave it took a multiple point turn and asking people to please wait so I could leave, no one came to assist. All in all, there are MUCH better options all within a mile of this location. read more

Car wash is excellent but always crowded to the point where you have to wait to dry your car off and use the vacuum service. I don't feel the value is there if I can't use the vacuum system because there aren't any spaces available. read more

This place has the worst customer service I have ever dealt with!!! this place has caused damage to both of my cars !!! their air fresheners damaged my wife's dashboard and their wash has scratched the roof of my truck. after speaking with the go to guy as he calls himself mr. JPM I was told not only would they not be going to fix either car but we are no longer welcomed at big Dans. the problem here is Not only did I try to reason with this guy but he was very rude and defensive at the beginning of the conversation but had no understanding towards what I was saying. I wasn't asking them to pay for the damage but to raise awareness about the chemicals in the air fresheners. honestly if they will damage my dash what are they doing to your lungs! I will tell everyone I see with a big dans air freshener of my experience and try to stop them from going there ever again! I now recommend anywhere else. I'd rather pay a local junkie to wash my car over this place and they have not heard the last of this situation. read more

I like the way this carwash cleans my car, does great with that! The reason I can not give them 5 stars is because there simply is not enough detailing bays to accommodate all of their customers. It's what I would call organized chaos when you come out of the wash you have to wait as you exit the carwash where an employee will let you know when a bay is available. The thing is, there is VERY limited space where you wait... so today after my wash as I leave the wash the employee waved me to leave the carwash all together.. I couldn't even detail my car because there was no where for me to wait for a bay to become available. With the new Woodies getting ready to open just a very short distance away they would be wise to figure out a solution because I'm betting they are going to lose some customers. I would suggest that they limit the amount of time people can spend at a detailing bay. In a nutshell this carwash is on a lot that is entirely too small for this business. read more
