    Medium size soft serve

I felt like a kid again if you love ice cream, snowballs , sno cones , anything in this family of sweetness , grab the family on a hot day and head to Big dippers . I got the vanilla chocolate soft serve ice cream come . They come in 3 sizes and unless you want a ginormous come stick with the small or medium . There are benches here for sitting down with friends and enjoying this sweet treat . This is my go to favorite ice cream shop !!

I was with a group of friends who wanted to drive over an hour from just below Baltimore in order to get this ice cream. I must say the caramel sundae with whip cream hit the spot. I think I'll be taking another road trip soon. Loved the music playing on speakers too!!

A local favorite that beats the pants off of York Street Treat. They have a big selection and they take credit card.

The inside has a cool throw back vibe with oldies music playing, old license plates and other old stuff.

We decided on trying the Wild Thang, Freak Shake and let's just say it was well presented and very unique and a nice size. The chocolate cake that topped it was amazing in itself and the milkshake was in the money. They had a staff of three working and it was just a bit slow but efficient, needs a little refinement, especially with the volume of people waiting in line, it did move along .... Staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. Very unique twisted ice cream flavors, there is such a nice assortment to choice from, they have various shakes, waffle sundaes, all are extremely unique ! This is a really nice family owned business and it's highly recommended to stop in here and get your ice cream fix in. You will enjoy it Side Note: Not sure what food service protocol is in PA, but in our opinion the workers should wear gloves and hair protection, neither being used by staff and it could be a violation since they are reaching across ice cream containers and standing over them ! Also, did not see any Food-Serve Certifications ? * This was the reason of not giving a 5-Star, 3-Star is warranted due to improper food handling

Located on the outskirts of Hanover, Clair's has been a cornerstone family restaurant for the area since the 70s. Back in the 90s, I have fond memories of going to Clair's with my family for Friday night dinners. The restaurant itself has mostly left unchanged from what I can remember, but in a good way. The bright yellow sign out front, the ice cream cold display case at the entrance, to the charming booths with the removable partitions between each just play into childhood memories of simpler times. With how old the overall restaurant is, everything is well maintained and very clean. A testament to the hard working staff and devout ownership. Service: 5/5. We went on a Saturday night around 6pm for dinner and had a wonderful service. My party of 4 arrived to a fully packed restaurant, however we were fortunate to get a booth table after a brief 5 minute wait. The restaurant does not take reservations, but you can have Google call the restaurant to check on the wait time, a nice convenience. Our waitress was outstanding from start to finish. She was very friendly and did an excellent job keeping our drinks filled. Food came out punctually and piping hot. Overall, Clair 's staff has their service down pact and truly makes you feel at home. Food: 5/5. Exactly how I remembered. The core menu has remained mostly unchanged from what I remembered coming as a kid. From your classic turkey and gravy to Salisbury steak, all your classic family restaurant favorites are here. On top of that, they have daily specials that have a more modern/seasonal twist on the classics. At the time of my visit, they were serving Yuengling beer battered haddock which I decided to order. The fish was perfectly fried and had hardy portions. Speaking of portion size, each dinner included your choice of 2 side items from a dozen or so items. Highly recommend the breaded zucchini as well as the fried corn fritters, both of which were childhood favorites of mine that lived up to my nostalgia hype. Dinner prices range between $10-15 per platter, which is very reasonable for the amount of food you receive. Don't forget to save room for dessert, as Clair's dishes up lovely hand spun milkshakes and sundaes using Hershey's ice cream. Overall, Clair's offers up the perfect casual dinner for those that just want to kick back and remember simpler times

Fried chicken, after waiting 30 min. They served nasty, dry chicken. My Salisbury steak was a pitiful, flat child's burger cover with what looked like Hot Fudge Sunday Sauce, it was gravy as black as Pelosi's heart, bitter and thick as paste. Onion Rings burned to a crisp beyond recognition, and a small scoop of nasty mashed potatoes with that same black gravy. No check on drink refills and a preoccupied waitress who certainly was not overworked. Avoid this place like the plague. In a word "Nasty".
