This one is very well written and the performers are excellent. The enthusiasm of the entire cast is palpable. Again, I am a bit of an enthusiast the arts, so I really loved seeing such an engaging and entertaining show of mostly local talent. Evan Wambeke (Buffalo Bill) draws you into the show immediately. I read that he is on his 11th season of performing as Buffalo Bill and it shows in his immersion of the character, yet he seems as thrilled as if it was his first time on stage! Quite a talent. For me, the other breakout talent is Emma Mason (Annie Oakley). She is so very talented and also immerses herself in the role. She has wonderful poise and personality. Honestly, every one of the 'story' cast is excellent. Kathryn Lowell (Louisa Cody) is fabulous at portraying the distain and contempt that is so often attributed to Louisa's relationship with Bill in the tales. I could go on and on. Joaquin Levin, Hunter Miles, Jordan Thompson and Willow Fernandez are all fabulous. Joaquin has enthusiasm and portrays Frank's love of Annie very well! Hunter has great comedic timing and presence. Jordan is a force! He has great presence and personality (& is quite a jumper! lol). Willow has a beautiful voice and ethereal quality. It's been a quite a while since I have been so pleased with a show. This was easily the best show we have seen in the area. We will certainly return anytime we are in town.

The museum is set up like a wagon wheel with five spokes each dedicated to a particular subject. Cody, I.e., Buffalo Bill, Firearms through history, Plains Art, Plains Indians and Plains Animals. We spent time in the first three. Each was worth a look and we could have stayed longer in the Art section. We have been to Cody's gravesite in Golden, CO, so it was great to get a comprehensive view of his life and impact on the Nation. The firearms section was amazingly in depth and we should have got a private guide. We enjoyed the Art section but ran out of time. I particularly liked the Remington sculptures. Old Trail Town is a relocated collection of a pioneer town. The buildings were relocated and…read morerestored from around Wyoming. The artifacts have little or no restoration to add to the authenticity of the town. There is a small graveyard on the site where the remains of several notable people have been relocated. Their life's story and how they died is on a plaque by each grave. I learned a lot about the old west here. The admission was reaspnable.

When we pulled up it looked really small, but when we got up to it, we saw that it was much bigger. Overall it was a great experience. At Old Trail Town, you will find artifacts from the Old West as well as grave sites of several notable Western figures. You will also find original cabins used by Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid as well as a Wyoming saloon frequented by Cassidy's "Hole-in-the-Wall Gang". Some of my favorites were the log cabin home of "Curley" a Crow Indian army scout who helped guide Lt Col. George A. Custer and the U.S. 7th Cavalry to the battle of the Little Big Horn in 1876, and the old schoolhouse.

During these nightly events, riders compete to qualify for spots on the professional circuit, so its like the minor league of rodeo. It was fun watching all the roping and riding. It was especially nice watching the youth out there competing for the best in their catagoy. Some of those kids were almost as good as the adults. I'm sure some of them will make it to the professional circuit one day. I get it. This is amateur rodeo so there are fewer riders than the professional circuit would have, and there is more side show to fill the 2 hour time slot. They announcer encouraged crowd participation. This nightly rodeo runs for 2 months during the summer. They do have 4 days when the professional circut comes to town.
