The views were amazing, Mike the tour guide was full of jokes and fun! The experience was great and Brutus the dog was an added bonus! Definitely Recommend!

Rarely do I write reviews, but I have to give a shout out to Mike and his local veteran run company. Thank you for the memories!! We had a blast on the 2 hour tour through the sand flats. I traveled with 4 boys who had the "best day ever". We also lucked out and saw the solar eclipse during our adventure.

Amazing experience in Southern Utah. We have been to Moab Utah many times and this is something we have never done. Highly recommend it. You get to see things tourists never get to see. The local owner has been exploring this area for over 30 years. He has great knowledge of local landmarks and hidden vantage points no one would dream of getting to see. If you want to get that photo that no one has and have an experience that, in my opinion, less than 1% of visitors will get, book this private tour. Another great thing is that they are by reservation only and your tour will not be burdened waiting for other tourists. Knowledgeable, experienced, safe, and a whole lot of fun!

We happened to see a Big Iron Tour's truck on the street in downtown Moab so we looked 'em and called. The owner Mike is a lifelong Moab resident. He knows and respects the off road trails. We made a stop where he pointed out fossilized dinosaur tracks. Cool! Mike mixes in his vast knowledge of the area with his off road expertise and humor. Riding along as a passenger allows you to take in all the scenery and get tons of information. An experience you won't get if you rent a vehicle to drive yourself.

Mike is honestly an incredible host and even though some of his material was dad jokes, he made those funny. The tour itself was brilliant and our whole group had an amazing time. Our group was a lot of former military and many of us are adrenaline junkies so when I first saw a tour truck I wasn't sure what to think. There's always the possibility of things being completely lame when it comes to anything guided or tourism oriented. This was RAD. So much fun, so knowledgeable, and Mike was perfect for the job. Thanks, Mike.

Retro-fitted Military ATV is different from the typical ATVs one would take in an off-road tour.

We took the 2-hour morning tour before it got too hot and were picked up at our hotel. in the military ATV which is definitely a different experience than your standard off-road vehicle! Our guide, Mike, was great - he had extensive knowledge of the area, made the tour feel more personalized, and answered all of our questions. Extremely funny guy, too! The actual off-road experience was amazing. We went up some serious inclines and narrow roads. The ATV is an open-air military vehicle, which made the experience very unique. I've done a number of off-road tours in different parks and in your run-of-the-mill ATVs, but this was definitely the best. We selected this tour above all and without hesitation because it's Veteran-Owned. I'm all about supporting our vets and small businesses. The next time we're in Moab, we'll definitely do the sunset tour with Big Iron!

Better than advertised!! Mike is the owner, a great tour guide, a great driver, a veteran, and a native of Moab, Utah - he was an amazing chauffeur in the baddest battle cruiser on the Moab trails!! We had such a great time crawling on Fins & Things then on Slick Rock ti watch the sunset last night!!! It's a fantastic adventure when you come to Moab and Big Iron Tours is the companies to use

Richard is so knowledgeable as he's been a guide of all kinds in Moab for over 30 years. He was fun and always made sure we were well informed and stopped for scenic views and photographs. As many have mentioned this is a cowboy style dinner that you eat in a banquet hall before the ride. The food was all you can eat eat, and the staff were more than accommodating. However, the food was just average to poor. The meat was dry, and the BBQ sauce was just ridiculously sweet. Basic salad, corn, very dry rolls, canned beans and a dessert that was about two bites of a cobbler with a squirt of whipping cream. We barely touched it. The boat ride was great. We loved being on the water really enjoyed hearing the story about the history of Moab. The lights did bring a unique perspective to the rocks which against the night sky. We were lucky that the sky was completely dark and great night for stars. I would've liked to have learned more about the constellations since this is such a great place to stargaze. Overall I'm glad we did it. It was a fun activity, But for the price and the taste of the food I'm not so sure if it was worth the price. I like how it is a family run business . I would suggest improving your menu such as updating the food. It sounds like the menu has been the same for a while and it's kind of tired. it may help to update your recorded presentation to something a little bit more current , and maybe add some constellation information. I think you have a good thing going, but it could really use a fresh update.

You can either meet at their location, where you can get some merch, sunscreen, use the facilities and ask any questions you have, or you can pay a small fee to get picked up from your location. From their place to the river, we did one of their raft tours, with 2 other couples we met there, and Josh, our guide. From beginning to end, Josh had a lot of information and history to share with us, and he made everything interesting and fun. He enjoyed answering questions, sharing his knowledge with us, and taking all the pictures we wanted. We even stopped for a quick hike on our tour (and those that didn't want to join were welcomed to stay on the raft). This was an amazing way to see a lot in a "short time" and learn.

I was searching on line and found Navtec. The river ride on the Colorado sounded like a great way to see the park. And it sure was, we nailed it. We arrived at their location downtown Moab a little while after checking into a hotel downtown. They offered to pick us up but it was a nice 10 minute walk to get to their office. It's a nice spot with plenty of last minute necessary's like sunscreen. Within minutes of rallying our group of 6 we were off to the launch point for the tour with our motorized blowup boat. We had a stop along the way at the great wall to see hieroglyphics. The boat ride was great, with information on spots and stories as well. Our guide Josh was excellent. Happy to say we had a great time.

The staff was friendly, professional, and genuinely cared that we had a great (and safe!) adventure. Special shout-out to Sabrina, who was an absolute rockstar--helpful, patient, and kind from start to finish. The Jeep was in excellent condition and performed beautifully... right up until Elephant Hill reminded us who's boss. After that trail, the renter's wife and daughter were officially scared to death, declared Jeeping "a hard no," and refused to do anything remotely off-road ever again. Canyonlands Jeep Rental couldn't have handled it better. They were incredibly understanding and graciously let us return the Jeep early with zero hassle, which we truly appreciated given the circumstances (and the lingering white knuckles). If you want a company that's honest, flexible, and staffed by people who actually care--this is the place. Huge thanks again to Sabrina and the whole team for turning what could've been a stressful situation into a genuinely positive experience. We'd rent from them again in a heartbeat (assuming everyone survives Elephant Hill next time). Highly recommend!
