My family did the Catacomb Cave and Hurrah Pass trails tour. We had our own side by side and followed the tour guide Dusty to some very scenic areas. Dusty was an outstanding guide. He allowed the group to have enough space between vehicles to not have eat dust the whole way. Dusty is very knowledgeable about the area and shared many of his experiences. We rented three self-drive vehicles for six people and three of us rode with the guide, Lisa. She was incredibly thorough in describing what she expected of the vehicle drivers that were following her lead. She also described specifically what we were going to do, i.e. go through a simpler (Ha) orientation route first to get acclimated and smooth out the anxieties before tackling the tougher route. She was a seasoned instructor and new how to ease people's concerns. She coached us through each new challenge and commended us when we did well. Then we hit the devil's revenge. Where to start? Parking was a little tricky to find but that may be because I'm a dummy. Checking in and getting ready was simple enough. We got a nice run down of what was expected of us and how to operate our UTVs. Our guide was Lisa and honestly there's just so much good I could say about Lisa that I don't even know where to start. She was confident, resourceful, super friendly, on the ball and ready to go. You really couldn't ask for a better guide. She inspired confidence, and didn't overload us with coaching/chatter. She cared about safety but not to the point of totally killing the mood. Straightforward, responsible and super personable. If you get Lisa as your guide you're really in for a great time. Wow! Just wow! We rented an OHV Polaris Razor from Moab Tour company and had absolutely the best time ever until we tipped it on its side. We will always remember this trip because of the accident and because of the quality of trails. I was terrified that we would never see the deposit again. My brother and I went when it was a bit rainy so we got a private tour - two guides, John Fate and Will in a buggy in front of us, and my brother and I taking turns driving a buggy following. We were so glad we decided to do a tour instead of just renting the buggy. There's no way we would have known the buggy could do what it could if we weren't following them. I mean it felt like we were going straight up and straight down sometimes. Anyway highly recommended, it was so much fun. Super great time on the UTV! Having many options in Moab for a ride, we stopped by here without any research. We signed up for the sunset 2.5 hour ride and had one of the most amazing times I have ever had in my life. If you are thinking about going, just go. Insanely incredible adventure experience. I've driven all sorts of all terrain vehicles, but nothing on this type of terrain, and it was exhilarating to say the least. Went in the off season which I absolutely recommend, as I see the need for reservations on the website, but when we were there, we had the entire petrified dunes to ourselves. We rented three UTVs from here (two four seaters and one six seater) and had a great experience. They also offer ATVs, dirt bike, and Jeep rentals (most have a 5 hour, full day, or 24 hour rental option), along with Hummer tours (which would be pretty dang cool). You can rent gear even if you aren't renting a vehicle from them. They had the vehicles ready in the morning, and were very patient explaining how they work, and also when we were slow-pokes getting going. We took them on the Chicken Corners trail and they performed great! Prices are reasonable, I think, although of course it'd be great if they were lower! If you purchase insurance that covers re-fueling the vehicles as well as washing them. Totally worth it, in my opinion. My only complaint was that there was very limited parking, but this isn't too big of a deal. If I'm in Moab again and interested in renting some sort of sport vehicle I would definitely use them again. read more

Our guide John was awesome , we ended being the only clients At the time we wanted to go so it was private tour , we did hell's revenge and fins and things 3 hour tour. My husband is experienced with atvs so it worked out as we weren't slowed down by people who are inexperienced or scared to drive up and down the dunes. If you are experienced then a private tour is best so you guys aren't slowed down by other people it's extra 60 bucks but it's worth it . We opted for the 1000cc , it was a beast Word of caution, if you are not experienced with driving a atv i would highly suggest riding with a guide, fins and things is tame but hells revenge isn't , if you hesitate or don't give enough Gas at the right times you will flip the atv , inclines are very steep as well as the declines and the ridges are narrow . The guide will show you the best route but if you are the driver and you don't know what your doing you can cause damage to the atv. read more

Only recommendation is to start closer to 930 when they ask you to arrive, we sat in the cold for a hour waiting for the tour to start.
