I recently brought my…read morevehicle in after taking it to Lafayette Mazda dealership for its maintenance checkup like I have done every year since purchasing it in 2013. I was told by Mazda that I had a leak and the cost to fix it would be $1300.00. I took it to La. Automotive and they cleaned where the area so that they were able to see where the leak was coming from, unlike what Mazda was willing to do. Instead Mazda was going to charge for every piece that oil was on. La. Automotive took the time to actually find the where the leak was coming from and I was only charged $565.00 to fix the leak and they did an awesome job at a better price than my own dealership was going to charge me. Very honest place that I will now continue to take our vehicles and I have taken my last trip to Mazda for anything. It's not the first time my husband has caught them saying they replaced things and they didn't. Then offered to change it for free. My daughter has experienced the same thing. I no longer will ever trust the service dept. @ Mazda. I can't thank La. Automotive owners and their mechanics enough for a job well done and most importantly their honesty!!

Tuesday night I was traveling southbound on i49. When I heard something weird. A second later my…read moretire pressure indicator came on. The next I heard it and felt it blow. Cruise control off. Emergency flashers on. Slowed down from 70. To 60 then 50. Tap the brake don't freak. It's ok. Hold on. Tap the brake again. Ease off the road. Keep it on the shoulder. Slow down. Slow down. Ok. Stopped. Put it in park. Breath. Dep Brest. Call 911. HELPPPPP!!!!!!! Body shaking. Fear rising. Louisiana states finest. On its way. Tire tool wrong size. Can't change the tire. Tow truck on way. Still shaking. Towed to the nastiest motel the baymont in Lafayette. Homeless haven. Check in. That was my night. The next morning. I called the hero's. Sweet man didn't mind my Cali gen at 7 am. Said they would get some one out with in the hour. And they did. The sweetest cutest young man by the name of Chance came to my rescue. He was up and under my truck seeing if he could get the spare down No such luck. But he brought me a tire. And watching him work with such professionalism and speed. Reminded me of my dad. Who weed tires. His hands were the hands of a hard working man. His entire deamor and manner was charm polite kind and empathetic. He gave me his card and said if I ever needed help no matter the time or day. To call. They would come to me. No matter where I was in the area. I felt as if I was finally safe and it reminded me of the service calls I used to go out on with my dad. And as a 60 year old female. That memory was worth the wait. Thank you. Extremely slow customer service. This is my third visit here. My first was to buy tires and the…read moresecond and third was to repair tires. There's only one computer so I had to wait 15 minutes just to get paperwork started. There no assignment for customer service so technicians walking in and out none asking "can I help you". The line of customers grew behind me. I finished checking in at 2pm. and I'm waiting over a hour and a half. My vehicle is still in the parking lot on a flat. I would not recommend this service location.
