Called all local places and this place had the cheapest brake changes by far! At least $150 saved per axle at this place. They are very knowledgeable with vehicles and will not lie to you about what you need. They may say you will need go get your rotors replaced, like they told me. I understood why because I knew my brakes were squeaking for a while and I knew they might have to replace the rotors too. Getting your rotors replaced as well as a full brake change is still less than all other places in the Lafayette area. Would not go anywhere else for a brake change. 100% best place to go

I brought it to another auto repair shop and was told I needed a whole new engine, costing $7,300. My vehicle is 10 years old (very low mileage) so, of course, this was not ideal. Someone recommended to try Bertinot's. They were able to run the diagnostic the day I brought my car in and it was fixed by the end of the next day! I was informed of the issues and told it absolutely did NOT need a new engine. They spent time testing every issue to be sure the repairs were taken care of and explained every step. My car runs great and multiple repairs were done. The cost was only $1,028. For a vehicle not starting and an engine replacement recommendation, I never imagined the cost would go from $7,000 to $1,000! I have not had a single issue since and my car runs great. Attention to detail was obvious and customers best interest was very appreciated.

Today we went there just to have a rear brake light replaced. We had thought we could install it ourselves, but it was tricky. The man in the office actually came out in sweltering heat, assessed it, got the right tool and pried off the plastic covering that had not been removed for years--and he was extremely pleasant while doing it. Walked in and told them that I thought I might have a nail in my tire. Within 10 minutes, he had the nail out, my tire plugged, and me paid out. I even made it to work on time. Excellent service, very kind and friendly, and they took Apple Pay, which was a shock after I realized I left my wallet at home. I'll be coming here for all things tires and oil changes from now on.
