It says out of order, but the one clearly next to it is worth perfectly fine and plenty of room to put the out of order drinks into the one that's perfectly fine nice and cool and I overheard that there was somebody who placed a couch order and when they got it out of the back, it was broken I would recommend it this place. Always have things in stock that appear online. Tons of sales and clearance items as well which is nice. On a side note they sell sports cards too if you know where to look and if you collect. The line can be rather long at times which is the only downside. read more

I was walking around looking for the cosmetics section and was approached by a worker named DEE DEE asking if i was ok as i go to put my phone away cuz i was texting a friend she says on the mic "he stuffed" as a fellow retail worker i was disgusted and hurt by the accusations i was looking for chapstick and to not raise to conflict i asked for another section. when i got what i wanted i was eating in line and i hear her say to the other cashiers i watched him stuff. Now being furious but not wanting to make a scene i just check out quietly.As i'm waking out she said i should make a rewards card but i will no longer shop there and will never do buissness for another store like this again. read more

This is a not so nice area in Apple Valley but we used to come here alot before we got our home and a washing mashine, so with the laundramat next door we would stroll through here while waiting for it to get done. They do have some great deals like their own house brand of girl scout cookies for $1.40 ( I ate my way through so many boxes of "samoas" from here!) Their own Nutella for $1 a glas (also stocked up more than I needed to) They are ok for decor and household items, I even bought furniture from here before, great price and descent quality. Its always a bit dim and run down at all locations but they have some great stuff worth a look every so often. read more

It is one of the two Big Lots stores, that are located in High Desert region! I used to shop here, when I lived in the High Desert region. I have purchased ample of DVDs, that were discounted, in this store. Furthermore, without DVDs, I have purchased some appliances, that were fairly priced. Without appliances, this store has a lot of food items, that are quite cheap, compared to grocery stores. Of course, location wise, it is far away from the place, that my family lives. Still, it is quite worth, to get there, since there are some items, available for sale, which the Victorville store does not carry! read more

For almost a month, I had been thrown back and forth between Big Lots and Serta concerning the Serta Mattress Warranty which was good for 10 years on our Brand. Serta agreed full replacmenet value, Big Lots did not. Finally it went up the ladder to The District Manager, Jay in our area, he phoned me, was very understanding, listened to my concerns and took care of it immediately after I had shown him what I was put through. He phoned the Manager Norma working at the Store that day and she could not have been more helpful, finally we have our new Mattress! This is a sweet Big Lots, as far as Big Lots go. They're not amazing deals but they're always pretty good. As far as DVD films go, this is a super place to shop, and from what I can tell of Victorville there are few options, so look here for a good variety of films between $3-5 each. Nice. There is a lot here to enjoy. Good selection of snacks and food, discounted items, car stuff looked really nice (my nephew was very impressed and told me he buys car tools at this Big Lots while he fixes up his vehicle). They had Christmas stuff up already just a few days before Halloween. Nice selection of toys that kids will enjoy.. Big Lots is a step above a dollar store with an eclectic selection. We did find that getting through the checkout line was a pain-- Big Lots usually has only one cashier so it can get backed up, and this day was no exception and the way was tedious. read more

It's a Big Lots. It's ghetto. They're all ghetto. I like coming in here for shits and giggles and to get small things, rando things that I wouldn't find elsewhere. I got a case for my Kindle here for like three bucks. Sparkling water. An optical mouse. Weird Italian pickled vegetables. Super rando but also fun to find the diamond in all the crap. The employees are not the best. They're kind of rude. Took a chance to purchase patio table and as soon as I opened it, it was missing an entire quarter of the table. The whole tile piece was not in the box. That was so frustrating to load and carry the box and be disappointed. Of course I called and no one is answering the phone. I will be there first thing in the morning and I better receive a complete table! read more

It's not as good as it used to be so I don't shop there like I used to, but they offer quality DVD and Blu-ray and reasonable prices and I've always found decent health products ( protein powder and bars) here for very cheap. Because the Kurig coffee is a bit cheaper here I now and again step in for that, although I make a point of usually avoiding it as it is a Crappola store in general. Well, I am not going in there again, for good. I bought a can of Greek rice wrapped in grape leaves as I thought, "this looks good." Big mistake: I could not open that can for love or money, I nearly sliced my hand open. Only Big Lots would would accept product that is faulty and iffy and the product itself was not so good after all. Combined with terrible customer service, filthy restrooms and shelves of crap this place should really be investigated and shut down. Big Lots = Big Mistake. read more
