I received a formal offer letter and start date from the hiring team. After that, I was told my background check through First Advantage needed additional processing time. That process took nearly three weeks. During that time, I stayed in consistent contact. The final week, communication stopped completely. No updates. No clear answer. No start date. I had already left my previous job based on the written offer. It has now been over a month and a half. I am currently behind on rent and bills because I relied on a position that never materialized. When I called for clarification, I was told the manager who handled my onboarding is no longer with the company. Since then, my calls have not been returned. If a company chooses not to move forward with a candidate, that is their decision. But professionalism requires communication. A clear yes or no shows respect for someone's time and livelihood. I'm sharing this to highlight the importance of accountability and transparency in hiring. I am actively seeking new opportunities in sales or leadership in the Rock Hill or Charlotte area and am ready to contribute immediately.

I have to wonder about a few of the mannequin outfits (orange tie on a blue shirt?) and some of the rather odd colored sportscoats. But that's today's fashion, right? Prices were a little on the high side but consistent with what I would expect in a department store. I did see quite a few associates about including at the register.

Rock Hill's Galleria looks to me like it's on the way down. The mall space is clean and uncluttered, the parking lot is smooth and there's plenty of it. It's easy to get to from the Interstate. It's in good shape and will last long into the decline of malls in general. Bummer. Belk, JC Penney, Sears, Walmart, then jewelry stores, general chain stores and quite a lot of sports apparel.

The most frustrating part was checking out. I found multiple boxes of waffles that were clearly marked with yellow clearance stickers showing they were 50% off. The tags never mentioned needing a Target Circle membership or any other requirement...they simply identified them as clearance items. When the discount didn't come off at the register, I politely asked the cashier about it. Instead of checking or asking someone for clarification, she told me that if I didn't have Target Circle, I couldn't get the discount because she couldn't scan it. That explanation didn't match what was posted on the clearance labels and showed a lack of knowledge about Target's own pricing policies. They refused to have anyone check and I had a photo of the isle. I wasn't upset about the money as much as the poor customer service and misinformation. Between the cluttered store and the confusion at checkout, this was a disappointing shopping experience. I expect better organization and better-trained employees from Target.

Given the proximity to our home, we've been visiting here quite a few times. Aside from loving the easy location, I must mention that the best part of this strip is the lake and sitting areas located behind Spice Asian Kitchen, Napa and Taco Molino. The strip is impressive in size with a variety of restaurants...but honestly, it's not the most beautiful. All very brown, almost industrial...I'd say it's one of the most masculine looking shopping strips. The thing I don't like is how busy it is! By 5:45 pm, parking lots are packed...and the place is just a tad too busting at times...often with many kids. However, it has this near picturesque lake scene (complete with ducks, even a fake waterfall!) in the back that we really enjoy! If only there weren't office buildings behind that lake. :\ We usually get ice cream at Cold Stone Creamery after dining somewhere in this super-busy complex (So many restaurants here!), walk out to the lake, sit on one of their many comfy loungers and enjoy our dessert with a view. To Whom It May Concern,…read more I am writing to formally report an issue that occurred on January 23, 2026, at the Kohl's location in Rock Hill, South Carolina. I arrived between five and ten minutes before closing to make a simple return--well within the posted business hours. Despite this, the doors were already locked, and the staff inside clearly saw me at the entrance but chose to walk past as if they didn't see me. What made the situation even more concerning was that three employees were still inside preparing to leave, and a cash register was open because they were still actively cashing out another customer. As a family who shops at Kohl's frequently and spends a significant amount of money across your stores, it was disappointing to be treated this way. We are highly paying customers, and being dismissed at the door--especially while the store was still assisting others--was unacceptable. I had driven 35 minutes to reach this location before closing, and I should have been allowed to complete a simple return. When a customer arrives within the final minutes of business hours and requests assistance, staff should honor that request rather than locking the doors early or ignoring the customer. I hope this matter is addressed promptly, and that employees are reminded of the importance of honoring posted hours and treating all customers with respect up until the actual closing time. When I moved to Fort Mill, I was aware of this location but only stopped in recently due to some marking I saw for their Black Friday sales. I was impressed. They have branded clothing like Tommy Hilfiger, Adidas, Under Armour and Nike. If you're a golfer, you'll be pleased to see their selection of golf clothing at a discount. They also have a brand called Sonoma that offers very good prices and good quality on crew neck sweaters, 1/2 zip jackets and vests. The quality and prices are so good. The other element I like about this place is there are CR Attendants, available. Yes, they are happy to talk to you and help you find a product or answer questions. Thank you Crystal, you represent your store well! Register for their loyalty program before you go and shop. There are multiple discounts and coupons that can be used in store or on-line. They have an efficient Return Desk as well as an Amazon Return option. Their 'deep discount' sales racks are a challenge. Not very organized, many products missing prices and all Jamed into a small rack. I bought a package that had multiple gift wrap boxes, it was $10 bucks. I was very disappointed to see the same product at Walmart for half that price. The line for check-out may be long, but they are very efficient, quick and friendly. The most pleasant surprise when I check out was being selected as the 'random' registered shopper to get their purchase FREE! What!? Yes, they do it once and day, I only wished I had picked out more stuff!

However I also saw top name brands like Calvin Klein which were pricier and better quality. I have always liked the Burlington stores and glad it opened in Indian Land, SC.
