Was in and out pretty quickly, even though the staffers seemed pretty stressed and there weren't that many of them working at the time. If you are going SE on Johnston, its easy to turn into this location... however if you are going the other direction, there's a convoluted way to turn at the light and traverse behind the next door gas station to get there. Most of the store was pretty organized... you can also always find some surprises based on seasonal stock. It just makes the shopping experience better if you can find things. Even-more-so during a pandemic when you want to really get in and out quickly. The good thing is that everyone was wearing a mask when I was there.

There's a sign that states no picture taking of merchandise, I get it, basically you're only saving $1 or 2, when if you bought it at the store the food would be further away from the expiration date. Taking pictures would show proof of that. In my picture you see a Rao's marinara sauce at Walmart for 6.98, it was 6.99 at Bargain Max. Again the people are nice! But the prices just aren't what I consider a bargain.

However its located conveniently, has brand name products as well as their own brand and never seems to be to busy. Staff is very friendly and so it's a good place for us to shop!

My friend bought Angus Ribeye Rib Roast that was on sale $10 off per pound - but the cool thing was it was a bit too big and he just asked the butcher guy if they could trim it down - no problem! Took it out of the package, chopped about 15% off, and re-weighed and price sticker replaced. Awesome! Everyone I talked to for help here was really nice. Even the cashier guy - forgot his name - long hair n glasses - but funny thing was he was the same register guy who helped us out last year Thanksgiving. So I asked if he was still living the dream - he smirked - said for now yeah. He's been there 2 years now so I guess he's looking to take the management route.
