If it doesn't swipe, they cannot punch the numbers in and you have to go to customer service or regular register, which is a little bit lengthy for time and a pretty extensive process. I am not one to complain, however I was the only white guy there and when I asked for help I was directed to self checkout however when a pretty black woman walked up they immediately opened up the cash register after I paid for my food. The prior visit the last cashier actually complained how they were short staffed and the new manager did not care about them or the customers, causing a very unhappy employee and customer environment. When I left the most recent visit and asked why they wouldn't help me and they opened up the cash register for the other customer, they said she was much prettier to look at and I would have to understand , I asked for the manager and they said good luck and to call back the next morning because she only worked 8-5. Get it together Walmart and focus on making the customers feel valued and important. Lastly on 7/29/23 we tried to call from 8:55pm-9:30pm and not 1 single department would answer the phone from "online pickup,to bakery, to the store operator " the phone just rang and continuously would hang up after 5 minutes of calling.

Kaitlyn was very polite and reassuring, she let me know not to worry and she tried to make my daughter feel better. Got confirmation and pick up time for the Blakeney Target. Purchased at 4:00 pick up time was 6:00. We go to the store closer to 5 pm in hopes of getting it when it was ready. There were lots of the specific TV we chose on their shelves so we were confident it would be simple to get. We showed up at the pick up area and it wasn't ready so we left and came back at 6:00. Just before the clock hit 6:00 pm our order changed to unavailable. We had to choose another location or the order would cancel. We hurried back to the customer service pick up area and checked. We were told it was not here. So you guessed it. We went back to the electronics department to check and see if the TVs were all gone. Nope . Still several TVs on their shelves so we carried the TV up to customer service desk to get them to fix this . No one would. They all looked lost. We were standing there holding the very TV we had paid for and had the paid receipt for and yet the app said "no longer available" so the Manager in charge - Cam was called to assist. He continued to apologize but would not give us the TV. After 20 minutes of logical questions and pressing him to call someone who could do something Cam again continued to say - "Sorry but you have to go to some other location that the app shows has it in stock or cancel your order and repurchase it and he would give me the TV. " The issue was the bank had already removed my money from my account because we had purchased it online on the Target dot com website- so if I cancelled the order the money would not be available for 2-5 business days. There was no other money available to repurchase the TV . We had to drive to South Carolina to Indian Land to pick up a TV that was in stock because the manager was incompetent and could not fix the problem. Epic Customer Service FAILURE.

It is very close to the University. It is located near the Galleria and by lots of restaurants and shopping stores. We were able to get in and out really fast. It was an okay shopping experience and the size of the store made it feel like it wasn't that crowded (even though the parking lot was full). Was in and out pretty quickly, even though the staffers seemed pretty stressed and there weren't that many of them working at the time. If you are going SE on Johnston, its easy to turn into this location... however if you are going the other direction, there's a convoluted way to turn at the light and traverse behind the next door gas station to get there. Most of the store was pretty organized... you can also always find some surprises based on seasonal stock. It just makes the shopping experience better if you can find things. Even-more-so during a pandemic when you want to really get in and out quickly. The good thing is that everyone was wearing a mask when I was there.
