Pretty good way to enjoy a Saturday afternoon in December. The Woodlands Mall is a large regional mall in The Woodlands, Texas. Not far from Houston, but far enough to be in its own community without venturing into the city center where you can buy a lot of stuff for your everyday needs. With that said, we arrived here around 1pm and found parking almost immediately. We found a good spot and was practically near one of the entrances. We probably spent about an hour here before ended up at the main food court. There was a lot of name brand stores here that I recognize and some regional ones that I do not. I window shopped for the time I spent here and it was nice to be able to just decompress and be on vacation for once. The mall itself was very busy and had a lot of people at any given time. I guess it can be like The Galleria but smaller. Still, it was loaded with a lot of eye candy and plenty of opportunities to spend money. Eventually, I ended up at the food court since I was starving and did not have a proper breakfast. Ended up getting some Popeyes. The overall experience here at The Woodlands Mall was quite nice. Spent the afternoon with my friend and her husband for 1/2 hour before splitting up. They wanted Jamba Juice where I wanted a Popeyes. So, I got my Popeyes and they returned with their Jamba creations within 20 minutes. I enjoyed the food court seating area, which was crowded, but at the time of the day I was, there was enough open spots for me to sit and eat a bit. The Woodlands Mall is very clean and it was a pleasure to be there. Not sure if they had public wifi or not, I didn't use it during my time here in the mall. However, there was public restroom facilities here for anyone and everyone who shop here. And with that said, I felt like the mall is as cozy as it can be. With it being the shopping destination that it is without heading into Houston proper, you can bet that it's as good as a shopping destination mecca it can. The dining and shopping is good, complete with your favorites. There is upscale dinning options inside the mall to your fast food favorites at the 2nd level food court and elsewhere on the 1st level of the mall. The Woodlands Mall is located in The Woodlands, Texas. It's about 30 miles away from downtown Houston. It's located at 1201 Woodlands Drive. It's right of I-45 and with its dedicated off ramp to get into the mall and the surrounding areas. Most, if not all merchants, in the mall accept major credit cards, as well as cash. As far as parking goes, there's plenty of parking here for anyone and everyone who drives. I'm not sure about whether or not there is regional public transportation in The Woodlands, but best bet would be to have a car or rent one for peace and security. There's always Uber or Lyft at your disposal, but the cheapest way would be to have your own car. And so, if you love to people watch, walking the malls, even just window shop, or go to town in the food court, consider coming to The Woodlands Mall and enjoy the ambiance and shop to you drop! My time was brief but definitely nice and happy. Consider your next stay here in the Mall and in The Woodlands, Texas. Definitely a nice stop to hang out in. Im not married to one brand, so I really do love the department store concept. While the first floor is packed with makeup counters, a robust shoe selection, a men's section, sunglasses and more, the second story mainly contains various women's clothing departments. Athletic, formal, semi- formal, or casual, they have a section. Not only that, but it's generally well organized and the service is A1. I've yet to try the restaurant on the second floor, but the day I do, this may end up being my Woodlands Mall, one stop shop.

Thusly, I decided to order 12 for pickup, along with similar items: pig ears and distilled water. I'm pleased to say that the other items stayed in the order as they should. Walmart took it upon themselves to substitute 4 unavailable Zero Colas with the nasty Diet Cokes I will not drink. Perhaps the Coke Zeros might work, but it should be my decision, not theirs! I made the correction on their initial confirmation, and they only delivered the Sam's Zero Colas that I love. I thought that I ordered 4 gallons of distilled water, but there were only 3 delivered and charged for. They got my pig ears perfect. There are issues with the pickup communications, but alls well that ends well! Thank you wonderful Walmart!

I continuously stated, "I just want what my insurance covers." I know that I have good coverage for my eyewear needs, so what happened was ridiculous. I usually get Cody, but he was unavailable, so I was assisted by Mike. Mike claimed my insurance covered frames, but not lenses. That immediately did not sound right to me. I did not feel like going back and forth, so I went ahead and made the purchase. The charge was $50.50 for the lenses. When I got home, I called the insurance company. Thankfully. I got a great representative. He contacted the vision center while I was on the phone silently waiting to see what they told him. During the call Cody told the rep they charged me for a protection plan on my glasses, and he heard the conversation between Mike and myself. The rep hung up and I told him that was false. I have the receipt stating they charged me for lenses. The rep called back and Cody answered again. The rep informed the Cody that I was on the line. He then went over what my plan covered and asked why my receipt said lenses not a protection plan. Cody went on about the protection plan that I agreed to, but that was not true. At that point I spoke up because I was heated because he was being dishonest. Cody canceled my order; told me I did not have to come back for my refund. It will be refunded back to my card. Please be an advocate for yourself at this location. Be careful, ask questions for your charges, and keep your receipt. The rep did a complaint against this vision center because, in his words "There is no telling who else they might be taking advantage of!" This location needs to be investigated because this situation was never supposed to happen.
